This was a last minute decision to try this hotel, it was in close proximity to the Movie venue. Clean, modern. Easy check-in and checkout. Room was super comfy with a nice couch and mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. 2 bottles of water was a nice surprise. What really stood out was the room darkening curtains, woke up at 7:30 and thought it was still 4am. We did have an issue due to a winter storm, took out their satellite tv so it was a quiet night. Soooo nice! We had a great time visiting here. We stayed two nights & bumped into a famous band (will keep them private) who were super sweet & took pictures with my kids. We had dinner at Per Diem which was good. I would definitely come back. Just beware those throw pillows smell terrible. I would immediately take them off the bed. Giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because the girl who checked us out was so rude. She really left me leaving there so annoyed. I hope next time I visit, I do not encounter her. Erin A. Went here again with my man, still a great experience! We had plenty of privacy and the walls are thick enough that you don't have to worry about other people hearing anything. Beds are very big and comfortable, room is very well kept and clean. Showers are clean. I felt safe and comfortable here (having my man there helped but I'm sure I would've felt that way even without him). I felt like a queen while staying here. There's lots of great options near by for things to do and different experiences. Overall, great location and place. read more

I was here for work, so it was important to me to have a comfortable bed and good window shades as I work all hours of the day and night. I love coming here, the staff is wonderful and the rooms are well-appointed. They have a fridge, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. Plus, there is a small grocery store a 2-minute walk away. Bed is comfortable and the room is clean. The bathroom is great. The bar/restaurant is awesome, they sometimes stay open later than advertised if they have a full house. I always look forward to staying here when I am working in the studios, always a pleasure. read more

Perfect location if you're seeing a show at Mickey's Black Box. Check in was quick and easy. No issues with parking. The hotel is nice and clean. They have a restaurant/bar near the lobby area. And a small area where they sell drinks/snacks. They cannot sell alcohol from that area after 11pm, but you can purchase it at the bar to take to your room. The rooms are a good size and decorated well with a comfortable bed. The bathroom is large and has lots of counter space. The shower is also large, had good water pressure and good spots to put your shower products. The bathroom door looks like an amp box, which is cool. We just didn't love the openings around it. So if you're staying with a friend they can see right into the bathroom. The room was quiet. We never heard anyone in the hallway and never heard any room doors slamming. I'm usually leery walking around hotel rooms barefoot, but I would at this hotel bc it is well taken care of and clean. We were here for a show and walked right over from the hotel. It was pretty perfect. Stress free. Then afterwards we went to the bar and had some drinks and small bites. Checkout is at noon, which is also a plus. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. It is pricey, but worth it. read more

Wanting to start our vacation early I looked at hotels by Lancaster and found this awesome place. Not a kid hotel but has a pool? Perfect for us with our 5 year old! Listening to awesome 90s rock music while swimming? Yeah core memory locked forever in my brain as a great memory. Next time if we ever need a hotel in the area, this is the only place for us. I was at Hotel Rock Lititz to help with pre-production for a k-pop concert, and it was the first time I even found out this kind of place exists! I thought it was pretty cool that they had a whole venue dedicated for setting up, rehearsals and pre-production. This hoteI/venue is pretty much located in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania but it's nice because it's quiet and you can truly focus on your work. The hotel was actually REALLY nice - When I arrived, the front desk person was super kind and helped me check in super fast. He explained where everything is - they have a gym, a (small) swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant and a convenience store in the main lobby. They also have furnaces and a lounge area where you can just chill and relax. Housekeeping was also top-notch as they came every day and replenished my amenities so I was able to have an excellent stay here. The only reason why I docked one star is that for a nice hotel like this, I would expect them to have a Smart TV, but it was just cable TV. A small infraction but everything else was absolutely fantastic! I don't think I would come here again for leisure considering that it's in the middle of nowhere, but I hope I am able to have another pre-production gig/oppportunity here sometime in the future! read more

Had not played pool since I was in high school and we played pool here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant was very nice. Spectacular hotel!! I was visiting Amish country and booked a night at this hotel because all the other budget hotels in Lancaster were crap holes. Rock Lititz was awesome! Check-in was a breeze and the lobby is full of entertaining accommodations including a pool table for guests to use. There's a bar, restaurant and even an outdoor lounge for smokers were I sat with other cigar enthusiasts enjoying some stogies. Rooms are modern, cute and just amazing! I loved the signage in the elevator bays as you make your way to your room that remind guests to keep noise levels low so that others can rest. With the awesome accommodations the lobby has, I can't imagine anyone wanting to party in their rooms when you can simply party in the lobby with other guests or your own party. read more

The Hotel Rock Lititz was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 2-week driving trip. It was fresh, clean, modern, and had a cool vibe. Kim at the front desk was friendly and made a great first impression for this hotel. Our room was spacious with a fun, hip décor. It looks brand new. There are PLENTY of plugs and a bedside table for occupants. Generally, you have one nightstand in the middle of two beds, so the person on the outside is SOL. No issue here! The bed was comfortable and I slept good! The bathroom is large, and the shower is GINORMOUS! The only thing missing is a magnifying make-up mirror. They have a hotel restaurant, but during this time (pandemic) it was not open for breakfast, just dinner/drinks. They have an area with a pool table and cool memorabilia around. The lighting and carpeting in the hallways was really awesome. This is definitely a great place to stay. read more

Wife and I decided to pay a surprise visit to our family in Lancaster. We head over to Lancaster every so often and we have stayed at numerous lodgings, good and bad, but Hotel Rock at Lititz is the best of them all by far. Checking is at 1600. We arrived Thursday at 1530 ( a bit early) and we met Molly (one of the Rock's amazing staff, more on her later) and she allowed us to check in early. There's plenty on-site parking, front and rear of the hotel, there are a few EV charging stations too. The building's façade is new with a modern deco look and feel, There's an on-site Restaurant called Per Diem, while we didn't get an opportunity to dine at the restaurant they do offer outdoor dining with heat. As soon as we stepped into the lobby we were in love with the decoration, a music industry motif and size. There are speakers surrounding the concierge desk, paintings and pictures of artists an concerts all over, tastefully done. The common are rooms are sanitized and clean. There's a backyard with a fireplace and blankets for cozying up with your favorite person on those romantic evenings. Step off the elevator and you will find that each floor has a different design with the music industry in mind, it's genius! Our room was 535, as soon as we stepped inside we noticed how spacious, modern and clean it is. It has a sofa and king size bed, with a huge dresser, plenty of closet space and tremendously gorgeous bathroom with see-through sliding glass doors, soap, conditioner and shampoo dispensers on the wall and full sized towels. The room is quiet, the bed is very comfortable, a nice soothing light emanating from behind the big smart TV and the bed's headboard, with dark blackout curtains, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, safe and digital thermostat. The Wi-fi here is lightning speed. Last but never least the staff is outstanding! Molly is terrific with a radiant sunny disposition that's infectious, even though she's constantly wearing her mask we know she's always smiling. It so happens that she's a friend of my niece ... LOL .. small world. Josh is helpful and highly knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area, this is the person to ask all you need to make one stay comfortable and enjoyable. Erica, Ashlee and Lexi are amiable, cordial and professional, they accommodated us and made our stay more pleasant. The only gripe my wife and I had, was that the shower hardly had any water pressure during our entire 4 day stay, it's difficult to remove any soap or shampoo with trickling water, hopefully hotel management can remedy that, otherwise we had a blast at The Rock in Lititz. There's no need for us to look for any other lodging when we head back to Lancaster, all we need is The Rock at Lititz! read more

Avoid if you are a minority - Manager - Erin Aguirre Sheetz comically strange response to complaint The manager on duty was very unfriendly at check-in and followed us to the pool area, where we had drinks in paper cups, and told us we could not have drinks on the pool deck. In contrast, the teenagers behind us had glass beer bottles on the pool deck and were smoking pot outside the pool. We decided to defuse the situation by going to the room, which was hot and stuffy, then realized HVAC was not working and could not open the windows. We then got a nasty email from the general manager of Hotel Rock Lititz, Erin Aguirre, that we were "threatening" her and her staff which is laughable. Probably one of the strangest experiences and behavior of hotel staff I have encountered over 40 years of travel. I don't believe we would have been mistreated if my friend who was with me had not been African American. read more

Obviously themed for the on-the-road music industry it is strangely comfortable while feeling exclusive. My bed was very good, almost as good as an Aloft bed. Talk about a hidden gem!!!! My husband and I took a road trip to the Amish country for a little business. While searching for hotels to stay at this cool looking place popped up! My husband and I both being huge music fans I thought this would be perfect. I wanted to surprise my husband & boy was he. You wouldn't think a place like this would be out here pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We arrived for check in around 6pm and were very hungry. We bright our bags to our room and went down to the bar/restaurant that was already pretty busy. When we approached the hostess asking for a seat she asked if we had reservations? We politely responded no and were given sort of a concerned sad face in return. Turns out the restaurant at this hotel is one of the biggest hot spots around. If you ever visit the area it'll make sense as to why that may be. After driving seven hours you can imagine we were pretty bummed. We ended up waiting for a couple of seats to open at the bar and slid right in. If you don't have reservations your best luck is going to be sitting at the bar which we prefer anyway. The staff we'd give 4 stars as periodically we'd catch a little snobbish attitude from them but we were honestly just so relieved to be sitting back having some drinks we weren't going to let it bother us. The drinks were delish the food was ok. We ended up chatting with some of the locals and later having some cocktails by the fire outside so this place is definitely an awesome place to hang out and meet new folks. This is a very chic and modern hotel just north of the quaint town of Lititz. It definitely stands out from the local landscape! It's only 8 months old so everything still has that new look and feel. The room was very cool in decor and everything functioned great. Hotel common areas and pool are really eye catching and interesting with plenty of areas to sit and visit. We ate at Per Diem for breakfast and it was delicious (chocolate chip pancakes and French toast were our choices). The only mark down was due to noise. We caught noise from the hall (even though there were signs posted to be quiet in halls) and through adjacent room shared door. Not sure if it's a design problem or inconsiderate guests? read more

I stayed here recently 1/22 and here's a review. First of all, prior to my stay I had called to make reservations and had to speak with the Mgr. (Lady) and she was very quirt with me, not real polite during our conversation. Apparently, they require quite a bit of requirements to qualify for Government customers. So, I would say if your Military or Government, it's not worth the effort to stay here. I had to for-go the effort and pay FULL PRICE ($230/night). Which I did, but in hindsight, would not have done it again. Why? Because it is just not worth that in Lititz, PA. There are so many other Hotels and Properties that are quite a bit less and just as nice. They have a cool Rock theme, but that is not worth the advanced cost. It means nothing to me really, that they have a sound stage business nearby that people cant/dont see because it is in a building out back with no windows. Apparently, it is for stage productions to come and "test" or build their stage prior to the show going out on the road, again, means nothing to me. The hotel was filled with "Roadies" types who worry about lights, sound and stage stuff, not really my crowd. If they had a video feed of the action in the non descript. bldg, it would have been a tad more interesting. There was no fire-pits, no outdoor heaters, no nothing really to enjoy a drink and cigar outside. There is a bldg across the parking lot with a small bar and other production related shops (Guitar tuners, etc...), but nothing worth going there for. I didn't know what what inside because the building had not signs or indications of what was in there, just a big black exterior. Zzzzzzz.... Now, the rooms, they were ok, clean and tidy - decent lobby, small hotel bar, but nothing to write home about. Outside, nothing...... They had a small pool inside slightly bigger that my hot tub, whooppeee... So, if you want to spend too much money to stay in quiant little Lancaster PA, then stay here or you want to socialize with other Roadies, then knock yourself out. It's only worth it if your Company is paying or your a Roadie wanting to network. For all us others, then better off to pick one of the many other fine establishments, save a few bucks and go about your Lancaster trip with all the other many things to do. This place was a gem! Hotel is only 14 moths old and still looks brand new for the most part. Looking for a weekend away we came across this hotel. I'm always fearful of non-chain hotels and this time was no different. We were supposed to go to Baltimore for the weekend and cancelled our hotel room based on hotel room reviews of the hotel we chose first! Front desk staff was great, very nice and helpful. We were visiting with friends and asked to be put near them in the hotel, which she put us right next door. Lobby has a pool table and shuffleboard table (which we used but made up our own rules because the didn't have directions for us to follow) for free public use. Room was nice, spacious but could use more drawer space. Bathroom was huge but we found toenail clippings on the floor that didn't belong to us....gross!! We ate at "Per Diem" for dinner one night. It was average tasting for the expensive cost. We weren't impressed. How about a normal salad or burger people? Pool was nice, people are slobs and we found empty water cups and used towels all over the floor. Perhaps an hourly sweep of the pool area would keep it cleaner. Overall, we were very happy and if in the area would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others! read more

Get your rock on! I couldn't believe that they made a hotel for fans of music and technology. The desk agent shared that the wall of speakers at the entrance were actually used by A list stars over the past 30 years. Then to find backstage pass wallpaper and roadcase bathroom doors made it feel completely authentic. The location is in Lancaster county but has a very hip feel to it. It has a great restaurant in-house (I primarily tried the drinks) and other excellent options nearby. My only complain is that the wait for the elevator can be long when there is a superstar celebrity staying in the penthouse suites - I guess it makes sense for their privacy but I was happy to ride with them :-). ONE OF THE COOLEST PLACES I'VE EVER STAYED! If you are looking for cool - this is it!! The hotel is full of everything related to all things artistic and music. The hotel has things from REAL concerts in the lobby areas and once in the rooms - the beds are SO COMFORTABLE!! I highly recommend this place for not only the cool factors that it has from the overall look but also the beautiful/comfortable rooms, the food is really good and the pool is a great place to relax at the end of the day. My husband and I stayed here for over a week while he was doing work at Rock Lititz. Although each day our room was being serviced, it was never being fully cleaned. On the fourth day of our stay, we noticed that residue from coffee cups still remained from our first morning in the hotel. We shared this with the front desk and had the head of housekeeping clean our room - which was done very well. However, in the days to follow, the room was only gently 'serviced'. Although the hotel is brand new, I would expect the basics to be at a high standard, especially with the cost per night. The hotel itself has a cool vibe, but I would only recommend for short 1-2 night stays. read more

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. When getting into the bed, there were several hairs under the comforter, not sure from what part of the body which was extremely gross. The manager came with two maids and changed the sheets and gave us a small credit on the room which was appreciated. The next day we had the 'do not disturb' sign on all the day because we did not want the room to be service for obvious reasons. The cleaning crew still came into the room when we were not there and the sign was on the floor when we returned. Unprofessional and not what I would have expected for how pricey the rooms were. The rest of the hotel is nicely done and the vibe in the bar is nice. I did think it would have been helpful to have it open for lunch as it only opens at 4pm. read more

We were a group of 6 families and booked 6 rooms for a Spooky Nook tournament. If you see I very rarely take the time to write a review. However, I could not pass this one up. We all had the best hotel experience at Hotel Rock Lititz. The hotel was impeccably clean, the entire staff from front desk, to waitress to bartender to cook were extremely proffessional, kind and helpful with anything we asked for. The lobby and bar is a happening place from adults to young children. Kids were able to hang out, shoot pool, go in the pool/jacuzzi while parents lounged closeby and had a drink. Both outdoor and indoor grounds were beautiful and clean with nice seating areas. Very cool vibe with all the musical arts and artist photos. Excellent decor!!! Would highly recommend and would absolutely, definitely stay here if ever given the chance again. read more
