This wasn't my first attempt at getting my Real Estate Sales persons license.. Last time in 2011,I started and never even got past the pre qual exams..... This time I was ushered through the whole process by Stephanie Delgado at Executive Programs. It's like when you're in the gym alone,yeah you work out but when that trainer is with you YOU WORK OUT... Stephanie gave me the step by step guidance and encouragement to whiz the pre qual and then Pass the state exam at my first attempt !! She really cares that you do well. Yes you have to study and work but with a super coach you can't lose. The study material is pretty loaded but this works to your benefit by the end because you end up knowing why the answers are "yes or no" and not just remembering what to answer. I was referred to Executive Programs by a broker I was working with while I worked towards completing the required pre-exam classes. I got in contact with Stephanie, who was always very professional. Unfortunately, she became very preoccupied half way into my studying and couldn't reply to my inquiries. That is when I started conversing with Regina, who helped me the last half of studying and prepping. Overall, the program is excellent. There are a few things to note for future students: * You will not receive your certificate of completion until you pay the classes in full. If you established a payment plan, you either need to complete the payment plan or pay the remaining payments in full. It is disclosed in the information packet you receive when you sign up, so please be sure to review this clause. * Studying the practice exam questions and slide shows are your LIFE SAVER. They will be the reason you pass on your first try, if you work hard enough and actually invest time into studying. I highly recommend this company. If it wasn't for their slide shows and test prep, I don't think I would have passed the state exam on my first try. :) read more

I had the worst experiance of my life with this company if i could give less then one star i would because they do not even deserve one star. At first the are super nice really seem to know what they are talking about. Keep in contact with you but the moment you finally sign up with them that all dissapears. They dont answer you or respond to any of your emails. I paid and never heard from them again never got the registration email to even start the classes. I even moved around my current work schedule to be able to take the walk through. They charhed me and then i lost out on even more money since i took some time off work. Most unprofessional company ever. Save yourself some time and dont even bother calling or asking for information from this place. I will escalate this as far as possible. Worst company ever definitely reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

The course was easy enough to work through and I liked the convenience of doing everything online. The only downside was that I had to work through the courses one at a time, in the order they were presented in. I would have preferred to work through the material on my own. Edited 2/23/14: I finished my courses late July and by the time the board processed my paper work for the exam, it was November (that's bureaucracy at work). That being said, I worked through the practice exam and crash course twice each. Based on my practice results, I thought I was screwed. I took my exam in Nov. and passed on the first try. The actual BRE exam is a cakewalk compared to the practice exam and crash course provided by Executive Programs. read more

I finished my courses rather easily and the course was rather straight forward. When it came to the test prep they had a million study questions. My 3 star review is because my advisor would NEVER get back to me when I would call her. I would leave messages and she would just not answer. I also felt like the way the program for test prep was structured wasn't helpful and I ended up buying another exam prep which is what helped me ultimately pass my exam. I think if my advisor would have been more available I wouldn't have had such a difficult time navigating some of the things available to me. I also found out that my advisor was no longer with the company after I received no calls back. Im going to say that it's possible the advisor was responsible for my not so stellar experience and to also do your research when you pick a program to study real estate. This review is based upon my recent contacts with Executive Programs Real Estate School. In the end I did not sign up. This is what happened: I requested more information about new agent training from a real estate franchise. A few hours later I received an email. At first I thought the email was from the real estate company's corporate office, since the body of the email only mentioned the name of the real estate franchise I inquired about. Below the signature on the email was : (her name) Real Estate Education Coordinator Assistant Recruiting Manager The email said to call for a phone interview. The next morning I received a phone call from a 714 area code (it was a follow up call to the rep's email ). She asked if I had a few minutes for a phone interview . I agreed and we spoke for about 5 minutes. The way she spoke and the questions she asked led me to think she is from the real estate school. She wanted to sign me up for the training but I told her I wanted to wait till I speak with the local broker first. I also wanted to see a demo of how their online coursework looks like. Their web site does have a button that says "demo", but when you click on it, all it says is call for more information. No way to actually see the demo. 2 things I needed to know to make my decisions were: 1) is she representing the real estate firm I had inquired about? Or is she representing a separate company that sells the training? 2) how do I access their demo (as indicated on their web site Re: 1) she represents the company that sells the training 2) I was not able to actually view their demo lesson / how the material is presented I decided not to sign up based on the way they represented themselves and their business practice . " Real Estate Education Coordinator and Assisting Recruiting Manager " implies a very different role than a call to sell training. There's nothing wrong with sales - it's a perfectly honorable role. And there's nothing wrong if they are a business partner with the real estate franchise. Just be clear and transparent who you are. I don't necessarily blame the rep. Who knows, it could be the way this company trains their reps, or it may be her as an individual. Since I haven't taken the class, I can't comment about the coursework itself . I am only sharing my experience interacting with them. read more

Working with Executive Programs was a pleasure. I found their professionalism to be amazing and the communication throughout the entire process from the start of my first course to taking the exam second to none. The online quizzed prepared me to pass each course with ease and really helped with understanding the material. I am not satisfied with the service. For example, I had one counselor names Rose and I was never notified I have a New Counselor named Tessa. So it turns out, there is lack of communication. The courses are not hard, but there are new changes since it was 2017. I do not reccomend this program too anyone. The courses and notes are from 2014. This package was very outdated. read more

I have used EP Real Estate School over the years and most recently to renew my license. If you are going to renew your salesperson or brokers license you need to do this on line now, and you will definitely be calling the school for support/customer service as you go through the process. I was fortunate to have Annette at the school as my advisor. She knows the renewal process inside and out, and was available everything I called in, even on Saturdays, to post the next exam sequences. I highly recommend using this school, and hopefully you are lucky enough to get Annette as your advisor. read more

This program was not helpful to me at all. It is overpriced, and didn't help me study. I had to find another program to help me pass my test. This being said, I am dyslexic, and since it is an all written program, it was hard d for me to follow. Their audio program which I had to purchase separately was of no help either, since I couldn't use them at the same time. So it was either listen or read...kinda defeats the purpose. Overall the experience was a big disappointment. Would not recommend. read more

I had a pretty good experience with this company. Tessa was responsive and always got back to me when I called/emailed. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because I have a business degree and I was told when I signed up that I only had to take 2 courses, because one of my business classes covered an elective. Unfortunately, after taking the 2 courses that were opened up to me, I was told I took the wrong second course and had to take a third. This wasn't Tessa's fault, as the information wasn't relayed to her so I have no complaints about her. I think the communication between the office that signs students up for the courses and the counselors could improve a bit. Other than that issue, I enjoyed the course and was able to get through it relatively quickly. read more

One day my friend and I decided we were going into real estate, but where to start? I was very concerned about finding a legitimate online course, but after much searching I located EP Real Estate school. I thought the program was outstanding. It was clear, easy to get through, and the customer service was great. Between the online class and the extra study materials, I do not believe I would have passed the test if I had trained through somewhere else. This is by far the worse school I have ever experienced. There is no support from anyone. All they want is your money. I took my exam and was completely lost. That being said I failed! These people could give a shit less about their customers. This place is far over priced! Now I have to spend more money on another school to pass this exam the second time. I'm so glad that I invested in Executive Programs. I could not be happier-- let me tell you why. This is going to be long, but worth the read if you want to find out about this program. I've been in real estate since the early 90's, and recently decided to go for my Broker's license. I've been managing real estate offices since the early 2000's, during which time I've watched many students take prep programs, take the state exam, pass (or fail) and eventually enter the real estate industry (or not, if they couldn't get past the state exam). I've also had a great deal of experience with continuing education over the years. Given all of this experience with licensing and continuing ed, when I made the decision to take my Broker exam, I wanted to find the program that would prepare me as best as possible. I didn't want to have to take it more than once-- I just wanted it done. So I actually purchased three different test prep programs to see which one had the best content and strategy. After trying all three of these programs, I can tell you that Executive Programs is the very best. The content they offer is easy to understand, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the Virtual Crash Course with Minnie Lush was excellent. Executive Programs will help you actually learn the concepts and apply them to test questions-- important because gone are the days where you can memorize a bunch of questions and answers to pass your test. You have to really understand the laws, regulations and disclosure requirements, and be able to apply the concept of the law, etc. to answer the exam questions properly. The course content that Executive Programs offers is all home study, which was important to me since I already have a busy life. You can go at your own pace and make sure that you really understand what you're studying before you move on to the next topic. I set up a study schedule for myself based on each area of study, and just stuck to it. The Virtual Crash Course is EXCELLENT, as I said above. I attended a live crash course from another school, which has a very good reputation, so I can intelligently compare the two. Executive Programs was far and above the best one. The instructor is knowledgeable, precise, and to the point. (The *other* instructor for the other school was not effective. I wasted two days of my time plus travel expenses. Not good..) The Virtual Crash Course moves quickly, but you can rewind the class and re-watch anything that you didn't catch the first time around. I followed her instructions as to what to underline, etc. and when I went back to review my notes, this was very helpful. I was able to pause the recording to take breaks when I needed to let the information soak in, and then get right back to it. I learned A LOT in the crash course, and there was nothing lacking from the course not being live. My questions were all answered. The exam prep (they call it the Target Test Prep) is done on the computer. It's easy to use, and gives you an instant response as to whether you got the answer correct or not. It also keeps a running tally of the percentage of questions you've answered correctly. This was helpful because I could see as I was improving, or if I needed to continue to study that particular topic. I've been in real estate for a long time now, but no one knows this stuff off the top of their head. These are difficult subjects. The staff at Executive Programs is top notch-- they are interested in their students' success and look to help as much as they can. I had a fabulous customer service experience. My calls were answered and I was able to talk with people whenever I needed to. They are also responsive over email. I passed my Broker exam on the first try, thanks to this program. At this point, I will always highly recommend and advocate for Executive Programs to anyone who asks me how to get into real estate. read more

Unfortunately I am 1 of the bad 1s I enrolled everything was very hands on for the first week or so and after that there was a disconnect I couldnt get on track the instruction was very confusing it just sort of left me in a dark place mentally I was so motivated to take up the Real Estate trade but after dealing with the feebleness on EP I really was uninterested and wanted to seek out a face to face course because even though the online program is more ideal for my situation I just did not like the un answerred calls when i had serious questions i was nursed through the first 2 weeks and after that felt like i was thrown to the wolves. I've been attending Executive Programs for the past year and everyone on staff has been very helpful and informative. Regina in particular, has been very knowledgable and has always found an answer to any questions that I have had. Their online classes are very convenient and easy to navigate thru. I enjoyed my learning experience I had with this program. It was perfect for me since I have a full time job and a young child to take care of. I have tried taking a course at my community college but now that I have my daughter it wouldn't have worked for me. I really like this program because you can work at your pace. If you ever have questions you can always call your counselor for help. I had a great experience with Annette although after I finished all my classes I called her and she didn't get back to me. Well, she said she would pass my information on to the local office so they can get in touch with me. No one has called me so I can get extra practice in or take the live crash course. It may or may not have been her but I did try calling her back to try again. This is the only time that I had a negative experience. Over all I enjoyed my time with Executive Programs and would recommend it to someone who needs to do learning at their own pace. I feel that over all they did take care of my needs, but of course no one is perfect and may forget to get back to you once or twice. (We're all human!) EDIT: After writing my initial review I was contacted by Stephanie who has been just awesome. She has been so helpful with any questions that I have and I feel like she has really helped me succeed further. She offered me access to the audio library which is really cool. I can just log on and listen to the acronyms, glossary, and even the audio crash course. In my previous experience I was never connected with someone to go to the live crash course but Stephanie made sure I was informed. So now I have the ability to go every week and go to two different live crash courses (if I really need to). I still haven't made it to one but I am just very pleased that I now have the opportunity.
