Her (nastily): We don't carry the pods. Me: Can you tell me what machines you have in stock? Her (again, nasty): I have no idea. Me: Would you find out? Her (resentful): I would have to go to the stockroom. Me: Yes, that's your job. Her: Click. (She hung up on me.) I called back, but they did not answer the phone twice. The third time, I got through and asked to speak to a manager. The manager argued with me and claimed the call was disconnected while I was on hold. That was a blatant lie; the employee never said she was putting me on hold; she just hung up. I told the manager I would never set foot in the store again, and I won't. Sadly, she did not seem to care one whit.

Lucky for me the flatware was located right at the door I entered. The employee who was nearby greeted me with a smile. And asked if she could help me. Of course she could since I never have been here. She showed me where to go and stayed around and answered a few questions I had as well. All in all I was happy to stop in. But this visit I didn't make a purchase. Maybe next visit. Because I'll for sure be back.

I was in the store today with my mom and 3 year old. I picked out a new cup with a straw for my kid…read moreand verbalized to him that we were going to buy him a new cup. He took the cup and started putting the straw in his mouth. The lady who was working there immediately came up to me and said "You plan on buying that, right?" I just looked at her for a second because the tone and in which she said it was so rude. I then stated that yes, I was buying the cup. She then walked away. My mom then went to the check out to pay for my kid's cup and something she bought. I pushed my stroller towards the front of the store to get out of the way of some other shoppers. The women I encountered earlier came over to the cash register and asked the girl checking my mom out multiple times if I had paid for the cup. The girl at the register was trying to talk quietly because my mom was still finishing the transaction, but this lady kept asking her. I get it - my kid put the straw in his mouth and you wanted to make sUre we didn't just put it back. But there is a tactful and polite way to approach the situation.

You can find local artists' jewelry, children's gifts, scarves and ladies' hipster clothing all here. We purchased some Root Honey scent candles and cute reader glasses today. Also, I tried a squirt of FHF Honey Heel Glaze from the tester. It is on Oprah's The O List this year. It felt magical on my palms, thus it would do miracles for my heels.

I ordered a rug and paid for the "white glove delivery". They dropped off the wrong rug then argued…read morewith me that it was the correct rug. It was not. The warehouse supervisor told me they essentially would have to reorder it and it would be another 3-5 weeks for delivery because it was on backorder after I had already waited 3 weeks for this delivery. I was confused since they were supposed to deliver the rug to me that day. She then told me if I talked to the customer service representative they would tell me the same thing. After asking to speak to a manager while talking to the customer service representative for 90 minutes they finally transferred me after I requested my order just be cancelled and I wanted a refund. The manager then told me she would call me back the next morning with a better idea of the expedited delivery timeframe. She never called. I have attempted to cancel my order with no response.

I was running an errand nearby, and when I noticed how few people were inside, I decided to take a quick browse. I've always liked West Elm. This store contained all the dreamy displays and modern vibes I was hoping for. I may be adventuring into a new decorating project soon and was browsing for inspiration. The store was immaculate and at least two different gals asked me if I needed assistance. No one hovered over me and I had plenty of space to browse openly in a socially distanced way. I'll return, hopefully next time with a clearer vision in mind!
