I ordered a rug and paid for the "white glove delivery". They dropped off the wrong rug then argued with me that it was the correct rug. It was not. The warehouse supervisor told me they essentially would have to reorder it and it would be another 3-5 weeks for delivery because it was on backorder after I had already waited 3 weeks for this delivery. I was confused since they were supposed to deliver the rug to me that day. She then told me if I talked to the customer service representative they would tell me the same thing. After asking to speak to a manager while talking to the customer service representative for 90 minutes they finally transferred me after I requested my order just be cancelled and I wanted a refund. The manager then told me she would call me back the next morning with a better idea of the expedited delivery timeframe. She never called. I have attempted to cancel my order with no response. read more

I quickly stopped in here after being drawn in by a gorgeous bedroom display near the main entrance. I was running an errand nearby, and when I noticed how few people were inside, I decided to take a quick browse. I've always liked West Elm. This store contained all the dreamy displays and modern vibes I was hoping for. I may be adventuring into a new decorating project soon and was browsing for inspiration. The store was immaculate and at least two different gals asked me if I needed assistance. No one hovered over me and I had plenty of space to browse openly in a socially distanced way. I'll return, hopefully next time with a clearer vision in mind! read more

West elm is the cool aunt version of the William-Sonoma Inc, which owns Pottery Barn & William Sonoma. With modern and hipster vibes, West Elm is the perfect addition to Pinecrest. We visited West Elm on a weekday afternoon. There were two other couples in the store, one couple had two rambunctious children accompanying them. The sales associate, who was assistanting the wife, was very attentive to her needs and let the children discover the store freely (without sushing the kids or yelling at them). The other couple were at the computer picking out a bedroom set and matching items to the bedroom. Overall, they had several associates at the register and walking the floor to answer your questions. I found the home accents and furnishings very comparable to other stores and in my price range. I loved the pineapple lamp! I will definitely be back soon to purchase it :) I also got inspired to create a planter for my room with the fun planters, lanterns, and terrarium ideas. read more

As part of a multi-item order, I ordered an in-stock bed that took 2 months longer than expected to arrive. I paid for the white glove delivery and set up as well. The delivery team was great; they were efficient and courteous. However, parts of the bed were missing including the hardware and the legs. We called to the store (Pinecrest) to inquire about the missing pieces. The retail sales people acted like they couldn't be bothered. The store manager was rude, both over the phone and in person. Had to call the corporate office to get any help. So disappointed at the lack of professionalism and customer service with West Elm Pinecrest. Sadly, will not be buying from them again. read more

I LOVE West Elm and was super excited to have a location closer to home. Now that I'm considering my next purchase I called the store to inquire about fabric samples. Michael, the assistant manager assisted me, an though I had only asked for 3 samples he sent 5, suggesting I look at the entire color family I was interested in. He shipped them the same day and they arrived the following afternoon. He went the extra step to ensure I was truly happy with my purchase. Love that! He even mentioned that though the store doesn't have the exact furniture on the sales floor, they have a model very close that is the same size. Just an excellent experience overall. The only difficult part - choosing the fabric. read more

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!! NEVER order anything from this company that needs to be shipped. Sure, go ahead and buy the cute dishes and vases in the store, but DO NOT order anything. My boyfriend and I ordered $2,500 worth of furniture for our new apartment on 7/3. We were told by the associate at the store that we would receive a call between 7/9-711 to sent up in home delivery which we paid $300 for. Well 7/11 came and went....no call. A few days later I called customer service for an answer. The girl on the phone seemed clueless and told me she would have to put in another request and in 2 business days we would receive the call to sent up a delivery. As you can probably guess, 2 business days later, nothing. They offer online tracking, yet it has not been updated once. it is now 7/17 and all I want to know is were the hell my furniture is and when I can have it delivered, is that too much to ask??? Save your money and sanity and get your furniture elsewhere. I feel completely scammed and will never shop at this company again. read more

I have never experienced such wonderful customer service! The products were amazing but the team was even better....I never dreamed I could make my home like a magazine but with the design services I was able to do just that. The store Leader Jeannie checked in and made me feel like my needs were of the upmost importance...she deserves a raise! I will shop here again and again because they helped me make my home a true sanctuary. Thank You West Elm!! read more

We bought 6 chairs for almost $2000. $160 shipping and handling plus $60 delivery charge. They left the chairs on the driveway this morning when it was still snowing.....no pnone call, no message... When we called to ask why their customer service blamed UPS....said they would file a complaint on our behalf with UPS. Please note that they chose UPS as a delivery service. No intention to refund the absurd S&H charges..... Last week we bought similar items from CB2 for another room....They had free delivery and assembly.... Pick wisely. I will not buy from them again. By the way, I attempted to leave a review on their website.....Impossible, there isn't such an option?! Like they are scammers? read more

The customer service here is a joke. I've been in twice , the first time bought a duvet cover and was looking for a matching sham. Reluctantly s lady helped me , went into the back and came back with 2 different sizes . I asked if they had 2 the same she said no, then 'I have no idea what the different sizes are ' and walked off ?! And went back to chatting with her colleagues... Today I went in with a return and saw a promotion on bedding . When I asked at the cashier desk which duvets were covered they looked at me like I was crazy . One girl came with me and then disappeared without a word ... in short they had no idea about the promotion, talked to each other about it without looking at me , or making any sort of apology for not knowing , and had no interest in making a sale . In the end I gave up, returned the first duvet cover and they lost a sale. Another lady was in there trying to make a return and was also kept waiting and was frustrated. So, I'm not alone. The product is very cute but I can only assume West Elm are looking to make most of their sales on line, because they can't be selling much here! read more

I would give negative zero stars if I could. My review is similar to Becky N but is actually worse. Never order anything online from this company. Do yourself and go to Crate & Barrel or CB2. read more

We love this store. Lauren, Lauren and Michael are always so helpful. They go to the end of the earth for customers in making things right. The style of furniture and housewares this store carries is such a wonderful addition to what Northeast Ohio needs more of. read more

I recently walked into West Elm on a weekday hoping to walk out with some fabric swatches for a couple couches I was interested in. I was in their store for over a half hour, clearly looking at their furniture (sitting on the couches, take pictures of tags, etc) yet nobody approached me. (There was just one other couple browsing the store as well.) The man behind the desk didn't look up from the computer once and the woman on the floor at one point turned around when I tried to ask her for help. I walked out with zero fabric swatches, and zero interest in now buying a couch from West Elm. Their loss on a major purchase. read more

I ordered a desk and when I went to put it together on 8/31 found that they shipped two of the same leg. Could not put support board on because holes did not match up. Called for replacement order 8/31. She said they would send a new desk and it would be delivered 9/5. 9/5 came no desk. Called and was on hold for over 63 minutes. Desk had not shipped. Put in another replacement order for delivery 9/10. Received an email 9/6 that the replacement, replacement order was in limbo and they entered another order and that would be delivered 9/12. 9/12 no desk. On call for over 50 minutes. Will get another desk out and send email with tracking number. 9/13 - no email and now a delivery date of 9/18. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I had to call again. The only way you can get Customer Service is to push 1 like you are placing a new order. Don't go into furniture delivery because you will never get anyone. I told them I wanted this expedited and a tracking number. I am not counting on them delivering anything on 9/18. And why does it take another week for delivery? They can't use next day or 2nd day delivery? It's their mistake. I will never order anything from this company again! Consumer beware. read more
