I've been driving by this place for years wondering who would go there because the parking is horrible and the building is dingy. But reviews on google were strangely good so I decided to give it a try for a pedicure. Can'r argue with the price ($25), and the two ladies there were very nice, but my pedicure wasn't great and the place was very empty and weirdly quiet. It was 11 on a rainy Saturday, but there was only one other person there. And as expected, the parking lot is awful. I feel blessed to have been a customer that had a great experience here. The environment itself is very clean, nicely decorated, and relaxing. My husband and I visited Envy Nails and Spa yesterday evening to treat ourselves to pedicures. Staff were pleasant and personable. The young lady who did my nails was very kind! Both nail technicians did excellent jobs on our feet. I also loved how they took our time with us although we came in an hour before closing. My toes look great (I will upload pictures shortly after this review)! Ohhh and they offer complimentary wine. Both the red and white are a bit bitter for my taste, but I still indulged and enjoyed having a drink as I got my feet done. There prices are good, too! It cost $25. I could not get in to see Kelly (she was off till Wednesday ), but thanks to the yelp reviews I saw Ana instead. SHE IS AMAZING! I was in the hospital for 23 days and was released the day before thanksgiving. With all of the medications plus having Haemolytic Anaemia my hair and nails are prone to breakage. She was patient in removing the Dip color which I had on for almost a month (which I am sure was not easy) and was able to repair a couple of tears. If you ever need a fantastic mani by people who are professional knowledgeable of their craft, definitely see Ana or Kelly! read more

I love this place. It's clean, the people are friendly, and the color offerings are unmatched. The parking isn't so great so I avoid popular times, but I drive 30 minutes to get my nails done here because of the customer service. They take their time and I never feel rushed. Do not let the facade fool you! The inside of Envy is modern, hip and very clean. It was empty on a Saturday late morning and despite poor reviews- I decided to give it a try. The pedicure was nicely done- with a lovely leg and foot massage, for a very reasonable cost. The basins are lined with plastic wrap. If you like massage chairs- these are state of the art. Only drawback- the water with which to soak was just warm, not hot like I like! It seems like the new manager is working to improve and I appreciate the effort! read more

So I was looking for a new pedi place since my place closed down and happened to come across this place. The reviews were good so I figured I would check it out. I was not disappointed! The place is nice. Kelly did my pedi. Great job and very nice woman. They have specials and give away free stuff. They also have wine after 4! Dont go there staff is rude. I went there a couple of times for pedicures but there not anything to write home about. I went a few weeks ago and no one spoke to me, they were a bit busy so i left. Yesterday i go back for a simple manicure with gel. There is one customer getting her feet done and one girl drying her nails. The tech puts the wrap on my hands to soak of the polish. 3 minutes later 2 ladies walk in for pedi's my tech tells me to soak for 10 minutes. He then leaves and starts one of the pedicures. 15 minutes later im still sitting there so i take the wraps off and leave. This place is hit or miss. My daughter was there for a mani and pedi and had a good experience. I went in this past week for a manicure. I was not impressed. These are the facts: The salon had only one customer when I arrived so I got in right away. The first man who started on my nails got up suddenly only after taking my nail polish off. He didn't excuse himself or even say anything to me. He left and the other man who was there took over. I told him I have very sensitive cuticles that are prone to peeling when cut and he proceeded to push them back with a metal cuticle pusher barely acknowledged my comment. This was Thursday. Today is Sunday and already not only is the polish chipping but my cuticles are reacting and peeling back from the harshness of the manicure. I think I'll go elsewhere next time. One star for quick service and one for cleanliness and ambience. But nothing for the manicure. read more

I really don't want to give this place only one star b/c the woman attending me was sweet; but it really was a bad experience. FULL DISCLOSURE; my friend has had and had a very good experience with this salon. I came in this morning with my friend, who gets her nails done here. We arrived at the salon at 9:30, their opening time. No one was in the store. Some employees finally arrived around 9:50. Anyways, I informed my technician that I wanted gel nails. She applied the colored nail polish. I noticed that on one of my fingers the tip was obviously smudged. I said "o, the tip is a bit ruined". She replied her (exact words) "O ya, do you want me to fix it." Um, no I thoroughly enjoy paying money for a sloppy nail job. So after that, I put my hand under the uv light and proceeded with the other hand. Then she applied like a biz-zillion layers of top coat. Okay, not that much maybe like 4. If that wasn't enough to make me think something was wrong another technician came over and started staring at my nails. Then my friends' technician came over to stare at my nails. They both stood there looking at my nails for a couple of seconds then my friends technician thought it was necessary to add on another layer of top coat. After that, I put my hands under the uv light and a couple of seconds later my finger nails started getting a burning sensation. No joke. I have never in my life experienced that before. Of course I quickly pulled them out. So, around 12:00, I noticed on one of my nails that the color chipped off. It hasn't even been a full 24 hours and on 5 of my fingers the polish has chipped off. FIVE people. Just in case your bad at math, that's half of my fingers. I guess it goes without saying that I won't be coming back here. read more

Envy Nails has been my go-to nail salon for over 2 years. They are by far the most well priced, most friendly, welcoming, and experienced salon in the area. Quinton has been doing my nails (very long acrylic and often extremely detailed designs) these past 2 years however I trust everyone in there doing my nails if Quinton is ever unavailable (which is rare bc I always call and make an appointment w him). My friend convinced me to go to her salon in Wheaton Mall and I felt like I was cheating on Envy.. but I thought it would be cool to check out a new place. TERRIBLE IDEA!! For the same acrylic fill-in and color this place charged me $30 MORE than Envy and that was after negotiating. They also looked terrible (compared to when I leave Envy) and paint started chipping away literally 2 days later. This confirmed that i'm never going anywhere else other than Envy. Tried to up-charge me for filing my nails rounded. Yes I stated it correctly. She nicked my fingers with the file no less than 6 times then she tried to pull that BS. She was on her phone several times, incoming and outgoing. I refused to give her the extra $5 to file my nails round that she didn't even tell me about, so she told me she wasn't going to polish my nails. I am editing my review because as nice as they were, my manicure polish fell apart in a day. I think it may be the base coat because my pedicure stayed nice for a couple weeks. I returned and asked them to remove my badly chipping polish and they offered to repolish. Unfortunately, the same thing happened and I took it off myself the next day. Original review: Drove by here and saw the ad for a $24.99 mani/pedi -- I never see that in the DC area so I tried to stop. The problem is that parking is very limited and there aren't many street parking spots within a couple blocks of the place. I drove by twice and finally saw open spaces an hour before closing. I had a mani/pedi done by Ann Tran and it's the best that I can remember in recent history. She was very meticulous, and being a perfectionist myself, I was happy to see how much care she put into her work -- especially because I'm the one who has to live with it. I don't know how good the other technicians are, but it was telling when one lady came back to ask that polish be removed from her fingers. I will never ever return. The lady doing my pedicure was on the phone the entire time. The white nail polish I got on my fingernails turned yellow and started bubbling before I even walked out of the door. It was clearly old. I needed my nails to look nice for a date later that night so i had to go buy new nail polish and re paint my nails myself.
