Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. My first thoughts after seeing Frank's finished…read morework was "how can I hide this so no one ever sees it?" Technically it appears to work as a staircase so far, so 2 stars seems about right. We requested a new concrete staircase with colored cement, plus demolition of an existing wood deck with concrete footings. Other contractors quoted a 2-day job, but after work had started, Frank told me he planned to complete it all in a day. Before noon when I came out to look at the progress, I noticed about 2 empty cases of beer cans and bottles on site. The drinking would continue into the night, but at this early stage, I wasn't overly worried yet. I confirmed with Frank several times that the old concrete footings would be removed. Around 4pm all of the colored concrete had been deposited into the frame, but Frank had significantly underestimated the amount needed. So his crew bought over a dozen bags of natural (gray) concrete from a local store, mixed it right on the dirt next to the new steps, and scooped it into the form. The crew tried to inject the gray cement below the colored cement, but as you can see from the photos (4 weeks later), it didn't come out right. As evening approached, there were bottle caps everywhere and Frank had a meager lighting setup to finish the surfacing process. At 10pm, after several hours in the dark, Frank asked me to look at the "finished" job. I pointed out the sloppy lines in the stair contour, and he said he could straighten it out with about 3 more hours of shaping. He obviously wasn't planning to stay to finish, and the old footings had still not been removed. At this point his only concern was to receive the balance of the payment. He left his equipment on site for 2 more days, despite my requests to remove it. I told him about all my complaints about the finished staircase. I asked him to come look at the staircase in the daylight, so we could agree on a reasonable payment. He offered to contact a concrete surfacing company on the following Monday. To date, he has never showed up again to look at his work. I have not received any info about the resurfacing (1 month later now). Summary of problems: underestimation of colored cement led to use of different color material, which caused permanent discoloration; no two steps are the same height; sloppy and drooping lines on the edges of multiple steps; rough surface in several spots; old concrete footings were never removed as agreed.

They demo-ed our driveway and laid the concrete for the driveway and patio slab. They work so fast and the crew looks/sounds like they have a lot of fun lol. Frank is super busy, so don't be alarmed if he doesn't answer for the day or so regarding your work but he will get back to you! You might have to remind him once or twice. Our driveway and patio slab look awesome! I love how it turned out! Going to be contacting him again when we need our carport slab done! Thank you, Frank!

Probably the best part about their service was the willingness to discuss the construction of our new fence. We just put in a pool, outdoor kitchen and all new hardscape and landscape, so it was really important that the fence and gates fit the the design and look of our new yard. Edward took a lot of time talking to us about our options and it turned out fantastic. They also worked really well with our neighbors and ensured their happiness while installing the new fence. I called several fence contractors,  but Ed is the only one that called me back the same day,…read more Saturday.  We scheduled a walk through on Sunday.  Ed quoted a fair price for two wrought iron gates,  so we went with him.  when he came to measure for the specs, he did not have a tape measure,  and had to use mine.  I believe that someone else at the shop fabricates the gates.  On install day,  Ed informed me that he did not account for the cost of powder coating,  and requested an additional $250... on top of the signed contract price.  (Last minute price gouge,  or pricing oversight? )  Either way, we choose l.e. fence based on the price bid, so the extra $250 was not going to happen.  During install I discovered a broken ornamental finial the ed blamed on transportation.   Ed was the one transporting,  and the finial was sticking up,  so don't know how it could have broken.  He re-welded it, but didn't clean up the weld,  just sprayed over with spray paint.   Then he filled in two of the four post holes with concrete, and filled the other two with dirt- so I had a concert pad (that was formed for post holes ) with an iron post surrounded by dirt... I over heard ed telling his worker that he didn't want to have to go to all the way (15 min away) to homedepot to get another bag. After I addressed it with Ed, he asked "oh you wanted all of the holes filed? " He agreed to come back the next day and fill the concrete. I told him that I would just fill it myself (cost me two whole dollars for the bag of concrete) and we settled the contract. Now the two dollar out of my pocket to pour my own post holes was not a deal breaker, but a contractor that doesn't complete a job 100 percent prohibits me from using them again or referring their services. Not to mention the question if they will make up $250 oversight on the next job...

They are super dialed in and have great systems in place for customer care. I appreciated the attention to detail they invested when looking over our items upon receipt. I felt like they had our backs in looking for any imperfections. They were like family working at our home for several days. Chris addressed issues that were not part of his scope to go the extra mile to make sure I felt supported. He responded to communication within an hour and had a plan in place for the one week he was on vacation. This company is top-notch. Two minor issues that need to be resolved and of course he has already agreed to come up and look at re-aligning a drawer and cabinet front. I would order from Lowe's again, only with this team in place.

For reference I wanted string lights installed and a new electrical outlet. Working with Joe and his staff has been an amazing experience.
