We recently put in a request with Yelp for quotes for a roof repair. We were two days from a…read morepredicted massive rain storm, and had been experiencing a couple leaks from the ceiling. We were very apprehensive about the timing, since getting people to respond quickly has been a challenge. However, ARG was one of the first people to respond, and after a quick text, they agreed to come out for a quote the next morning. After a 10 minute walkthrough and quick look at the roof, Delfino left with the promise he would firm up a quote shortly. An hour later we received an extremely reasonable quote by text, on that Friday afternoon. We asked Alex in the office if there was any way they could start the next day, and he said they would see if they could move things around. Very quickly thereafter he confirmed they would be there the next day--Saturday morning. As promised, Delfino showed up with his crew and they promptly got to work. Within 2 hours new flashing was installed, and everything was covered with new shingles. Delfino even emailed me photos of the work in progress, and the completed job. The crew left now mess, and there were no surprises! We were able to pay the detailed invoice with our credit card via text within the hour, and received a return receipt immediately. This was the most painless home repair experience we have had to date! If I had known it would go so smoothly I would have called ARG much sooner! We found Ivan after searching for the right Ikea cabinet installation company for some time. He was showcased in a custom Ikea cabinet manufacturer page but what set him apart (and ultimately made us choose him vs. others) was the quality and attention to detail that was evident in the pictures from his previous jobs. Our installation consisted of various materials, standard Ikea Sektion boxes, custom acrylic upper doors (push to open), and custom white oak base and tall cabinets. When the job started, Ivan was quick to point out seemingly minor improvements to the original design that made a big difference: we were able to remove/relocate filler pieces that resulted in a cleaner installation. Which brings me to my second point. Whenever there was a decision to be made, however minor, Ivan took the time to stop and consult with us regarding how we wanted to proceed. This is a refreshing take as oftentimes contractors make their own choices without the client's input, resulting in costly changes down the road. Just like the pictures during our installer search, Ivan's work displayed a keen attention to detail. Ivan takes pride on his work and cares about the final product. For instance, after he installed the uppers, we felt that some of the gaps around a corner cabinet section were a bit bigger than the rest. Mind you, this was not a simple door adjustment, but Ivan took the time to remove previously installed side panels to make sure everything lined up precisely.
