They do have 1 day pickup available but I have needed to use that service. I usually get my stuff back in 3-4 days but good to know if i needed it quickly, they could do it. I've been on a journey to get healthy and with that comes the need for smaller clothes. I wear suits quite often and fortunately I needed them altered. I took one in to see how they'd do. The lady at the front desk asked me to try on the suit. She pinned everything up and within a week I had my suit. I no longer look like a little kid trying to wear his dad's clothes. They're friendly and they are quick. I plan on taking a couple of more suits for them to alter for me. My wife also had a skirt altered and the zipper removed. My wife was worried of how it was going to come out because of the type of material. My wife was happy with the results and thought that they did a good job. read more

I do not recommend this place (loved the last owners,)but after today, with the new owners, first time, I've been in there since we were shut down, went to pick up a garment that was mended for me that I had brought in the employee behind the counter waited on me, I gave her my cash money. She opened up her till she says well I don't have any money so you'll have to pay by card. Did not bring any of my cards with me. Just brought cash. she did not have any money to break my $20 bill. I need exactly a $10 bill she said she got hostile with me. I told her wait maybe I might have the change in my car went out found the change brought it in gave money to her and I merely asked her a simple question. Is this place going to just start taking cards now she couldn't answer my question. I proceeded to ask again, ma'am is this place going to take cards and not cash she still wouldn't answer my question she got pissed at me I asked her to please don't talk to me like that. I am a paying customer she continued to get hostile with me. I told her once again to stop that I was a payin customer and I did not appreciate the way she was treating me. I asked to speak to a manager or asked for a phone number to the manager. She just gave me a business card and said it was on the card. I proceeded to call the number on that card just to look up to find out that the number was to the store, called the store to see if I could talk to the manager. She wouldn't let me talk to nobody she hung up on me, I'm done with this place. I will never step foot back in there again I have never been so badly treated in a business establishment like I was today and I will tell my friends about it I will go elsewhere, even if it cost me a little bit more money. This is ridiculous to be treated like this but then I guess that is accepted nowadays being the way the world is and the way people are treated anymore. Pretty sad and disgusting. This had been the only place we used for cleaning services since we moved here. The prices are decent, it is the closest establishment to home and it is friendly enough. They do a good job on men's work shirts. If something has to be sewed, they send it away and it will be back on a Tues And Thurs (the drop off dates) usually within a week. The work done is OK. Not great but OK. Things had been smooth for months but then I dropped a jumper and a dress off to them. They were ready to be picked up a few days later with a bunch of shirts and literally my 2 items were not touched, not cleaned but marked as being cleaned with the pin and tag attached, hanged and bagged. Even the smallest little signs of easy-clean wear were still not cleaned. What a disappointment. I did not make a big deal about it but I placed a call to them and was able to return them for a re-clean. Of course at no charge and I was not about to ask for a refund but still annoying that I had to bring them back and pick them up again! I am afraid to check them in any detail so I will leave them in my closet bagged until I need them and hope they were done properly this time. A bit of a let down as we have given them so much business and had recommended them to others. We have moved on to another dry cleaner business as a result of this incident - the new place is pricier and further away but do an even better job on the shirts. We just lost trust in Enviro and have read that others have experienced similar issues with them. read more

They are trusting and will work with you. I had a great experience with Enviro Cleaners. I first called and all my over the phone questions were answered. When I went in to drop my clothes off I was happily greeted. My stuff was ready when they said they would be, and when I went in all my stuff was there waiting for me all together. My articles were crisp and smelt nice and clean. The one downfall (which doesn't affect the rating since I didn't mention it ahead) was that on one of my blazers I took in had a loose button, which I assumed they would tighten up for me, but they did not. I feel it was great quality work, but tightening up that button would of show how much of a consumer business they are. Decided to use Enviro Cleaners to clean my sons rather large stuffed teddy bear, before I could walk in with it to ask if they can provide the service, I was told no. I mean my foot wasn't even on the curb of the walkway before I see a lady behind then counter side eyeing me and shaking her head in refusal. I walked in anyway and asked if they were able to, she kept shaking her head no and stated they can wash laundry carpets rugs but she cannot take the teddy. I said okay thank you and walked out.. the low star rating isn't for not being able to provide a service they can't offer me, i totally understand that. I simply found it flat out rude to tell a possible customer no before they even get to express what kind of service they were seeking. Your clothes are always done on the date they tell you it's ready for pickup. The owners are so welcoming and sweet. And they know you by first name. That's a plus plus for me. Have been a customer of Enviro for 12+ years. They have always been consistent with their service and quality of work. A little pricey, yes. However we never complain to the oil companies for the gas prices they charge especially in CA which has one of the highest gas prices in the country. Kudos to Navjit who reached out to all the complainants about the previous owner( although I knew them well and were good people) and showing a willingness to earn their business. This is the absolute worse company in Bakersfield. They put a stain in my friends wedding dress and then had the audacity to blame her for it. They threatened her and said "well pay us more money and we will get it out." She had to tell them she had video of the dress before coming to the cleaners for the lady to even shut up and just fix it. She knew she was caught in her lies. To top it off they almost loss the $90 shirt her fiance is to be wearing because they misplaced it in someone elses order. I am not sure why it is marked as $$$$. Shirts are $2.50. Pants are $4.50. And they don't use any harmful chemicals to clean your clothes. These are going on your body, you may want to make sure you aren't absorbing harmful chemicals used by other dry cleaners peeps. read more

This place is down the street from a friend of mines place, took in my brand new Levis that I didn't want to shrink and wash. I didn't buy prewashed because I didn't want have a faded worn out look. I took my pants in with a perfect crease and cuff on the bottom. Specifically asked for them to be DRY CLEANED NOT WASHED or STARCHED. I needed the crease and cuff to stay in the exact same way. I go in the next day, one cuff was 2 inches and the other was 3.5 inches. It was all uneven. I told them to please put the cuff back becsuse you can see the old cuffs and it looked terrible. They began to blame the pants saying that they had already been this way and that MY BRAND NEW JEANS were made wrong. I then took my pants to another dry cleaners, I explained to them what happened. I asked them to fix this and put the crease and cuffs where I originally had it. The woman said that the pants were not uneven or bad from the factory, they were pressed wrong AND she gave me the bad news that these jeans were washed. !!! And I lost it. I had to try the pants on and they didn't fit right, my pants were ruined. I went back here and explained to the owner Yolanda what happened and that I needed my pants to be replaced because they are ruined and didnt fit. She began to yell and saying I said "heavy starch" and told me to take her to court. I can not believe that this woman runs a business this way! Oh and by the way I will see you in court. read more

I recently picked up my dry cleaning yesterday. I work at a bank so for me my suits are my life as that is ALL I wear. Anyways, I picked up my clothes yesterday and decided to rip open that plastic packaging to put the suit on. To my dismay, the original stains that it went in with (C'mon, I eat sometimes) were still on the suit and pants. They were small (less then the size of a fingerprint) so it was a quick clean. I called and spoke with the older lady who works there and she first said she would clean the suit for me. Groovy I figured; however I also said that I was wearing the suit already. It is 8:00 AM when I make this call mind you... Probably put the suit on around 7:45 AM. I get it, I wore the suit so it causes issues. The lady then proceeds to tell me "You wore it, I wont clean it. I need it to be in the original plastic." Darn that plastic I ripped open! I calmly explain that I never see my suits completely until I am about to wear them to which she explains how she will charge me and how it is my fault. They gave me 20% when I took in my stuff because I had been there a few times... She threw that in my face and stated that "I discounted you I don't know why you would try and get a free cleaning." I never asked for that discount mind you. I would have gladly paid the 5 dollars more it would have cost to have my clothes PROPERLY cleaned. It is a disappointment because I now need to find another regular cleaners YET AGAIN. I said refund and she hung up on me. Needless to say, refund is the word you must say when you need to get off the phone with these people. I will not be going there again, I will not be working with these people... and now I will be on the hunt for ANOTHER cleaners. Wish me luck. read more

The prices are competitive with similar cleaners; the people that work there are nice and are willing to work with you. I stopped by on Friday morning of last Labor Day weekend. I traveled to Bakersfield for my cousin's wedding on Saturday and my only suit got wrinkled and soiled during the trip and needed to be cleaned. I asked them if I could have it the same day and they said that since it was early enough they could have it ready that afternoon. They had it ready by 4 PM and the suit was clean and well pressed.
