I'm not a fancy girl, by any means. Honestly, if the garment or item says "Dry Clean Only, but fits in my washing machine, I take that route. But when my comforter for my bed was looking drab and full of dog hair, I got desperate! TC was able to remove the hair, odor, and discoloration from my blanket and left it looking brand new again. read more

The facility was clean, the young lady at the counter that greeted me was cheery. If she hated her job even one bit it did not show. She treated me with respect and completed my order in a timely manner. My clothes where even done before the scheduled time making it even more convenient. Today Cleaners Is TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE customer service. I took my uniform to get creases on the sleeves. I had previously taken my uniform there the week before and noticed they did not place the crease where I had asked them to. Fast forward to 2 days ago, I took my uniform in again and told the employee that they had incorrectly placed the creases on my uniform sleeve. The employee scoffed and appeared agitated that I had told them they placed the crease incorrectly, and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong. What kind of customer is this? How am I supposed to wear my uniform as a law enforcement officer with dignity when the creases were crooked on my uniform? And then be told I was wrong about where I wanted MY creases to be on my uniform?! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never again will I ever give this business my money. read more

Horrible customer service, lousy job, I dropped my white shirt for dry cleaning, showed them there are some red stains on it, when I stopped to pick it up, I got my shirt with the same stains and wrinkle collar!!! Bad service. Took my white blazer to get a small coffee stain out and noted that before I dropped it off. When I picked it up it was still there so I asked if they could spot treat it. The girl took my blazer and sprayed water on it and brought it back to me still wet. When I asked her if she could dry it, she took it back reluctantly and dried it with some air drier. It came back still wet and now wrinkled. Now I'm on the hunt for a decent dry cleaner in Bako! read more

They do a fairly good job at this location. I've used a few dry cleaners and this probably does the best work. Recommend printing out an online coupon for a discount. Also recommend not dropping off on Sundays. I think their regular staff takes this day off. I've found when I drop off on Sundays the clothes aren't pressed as nicely. When I went back with an item that had uneven creases, the cashier took it back to fix and made it worse. After multiple attempts to fix, I insisted they just redo it. Came back the next day to pick up and the item was fine. read more

Today Cleaners has multiple locations in Bakersfield. I am very happy with the turnaround time (in by 11, ready at 4) but am frustrated that the clothes require some touch up after I pick them up. They put five shirts in each plastic bag for pick up. The shirts sometimes get bad wrinkles in the body or the sleeves because they squeeze five shirts in a plastic bag, and I've had to iron them before my husband wears. Asked about this today from the Ming store and was told "yeah it's hard to keep them from getting wrinkled when we have to put do many shirts (in the same bag) together". Also, today I picked up my order - when I'd specifically asked for my husbands tied to be spotted and noticed that clearly they did not. There was no note"sorry we could not get the spot out" as there've been in the past. Nope, just a $5.49 charge and a dirty tie returned. So the review for this place is simply "okay". Nothing to write home about. Just wish they paid more attention to detail. read more

A suit jacket that has been cleaned here several times, was brought back because the shoulder pads were damaged and had slid down the sleeves. They offered to fix it and when I came to pick it up, they had only reinserted the same damaged pads and said it wasn't their fault that the pads had moved during cleaning. There are too many other dry cleaners in town to be treated this way and pay this steep a price! read more

I saw the one negative review and had to respond. I've been going here for seven years without incident. Actually I take it back, one time I had a complaint about a coupon not being applied and they fixed it promptly. I probably go there once a month with a bag of clothes. I have been taking my dry cleaning to Today Cleaners for 15 years. I love the staff at this location. They are always friendly and helpful. What irritates me is their 50% off rewards coupons you earn. The coupons are printed, you must return in the cleaning bag when you are ready to redeem them. Why can't you use technology and put it on my account? Also, the coupons expire. Here in lies the rub... my husband dropped off our cleaning on 5/13, I thought the coupon expired on 5/15, but I was wrong, it expired 5/11. I only found out when I picked my drying cleaning and asked about my discount. The young lady said the coupon expired, she had highlighted the expiration date and attached to the cleaning. Seriously, two days and you didn't honor it for a longtime customer? It isn't even the money I would have saved, it is feeling like long term customers don't matter. Really, two days...Guess my loyalty means nothing to this company. So I will be shopping around for another provider, any suggestions? read more
