I completely understand addressing a missed appointment and holding clients accountable for scheduling policies. That is fair. What was unnecessary was the rude and dismissive way it was handled. It is unfortunate because the space itself is nice and the quality of the work is generally good, but I will not continue supporting a business where I feel mistreated for making an honest mistake.

I'd been able to grow it out and let her know I'd strongly considered canceling because I'd been very happy with my hair. In addition to multiple pages of pics including what I loved or hated about each and said let's just do a "light trim/ no layers / zero length off front". It's as if after confirming what I absolutely did not want, she thought "I'm going to give her all of them". I walked out with literally every single thing I had clearly communicated I did not want. I have to live with this nightmare cut until I manage to grow it back out. Again. So if you have any hesitation at all, I would cancel your appointment and think long and hard before you rebook it.
