During the makeup trial, I was set at ease and impressed with her calm attitude, honest and helpful advice, and gentle soothing touch. She did a fantastic job not only on helping me find what look I was going for (after a lot of mind-changing on my part!) but also bringing my partner's thick curls to life. She mastered the natural but enhanced look we were going for. She earned my trust and I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the PNW area!

I really appreciated the smooth communication all the way through - they were so kind and patient with all my questions and concerns. Anny and Andy are both very talented and precise. They have ALL the skills and dedication to make you look and feel beautiful. I was looking for a really natural makeup look, and an updo with lots of texture. I was definitely nervous about the makeup piece since I basically don't wear much more than mascara, but Anny nailed it - I felt weightless and beautiful and most of all like MYSELF the entire day. My hair was a work of art as well - I hope Andy is proud of what he created because I LOVED it. I have to also mention that the two of them have a great dynamic - they work very smoothly together and definitely made me feel at ease, and when my wedding day arrived they were just the calming presence I needed. Could not have wished for more.

I don't own or wear make-up, so for events, I have to go get it done. Oh, and I've had it DONE! Even with the compliments, I hated it because I didn't look like myself. It felt foreign and I would often feel quite uncomfortable. For my elopement ceremony last summer, I wanted to look like myself, except with better skin. I wanted to be comfortable with myself. Anny's portfolio was appealing to me, because it had a variety of looks, including the "natural look", the one I wanted. We had a super intimate ceremony over brunch. The venue was great, but didn't give us a lot of extra time to prepare. Anny and Andy came through! With Anny on make-up and Andy on hair, they made my mother and I feel beautiful and natural, and they did it in record time. I was comfortable the entire day. And yes, I felt pretty on my wedding day.

I liked her because she made everyone look beautiful but still look like themselves. I also liked the attitude she had and that she was true to herself and not trying to be somebody else...that's who I wanted to be part of my crew! She did an AMAZING job with my wedding makeup and the bridesmaids! She had 11 girls to get ready that day. I was a little nervous that it was a lot of ladies to get ready for one person but HOLY MOLY was she efficient! She even got done early! And that was with having to put lashes on most of the ladies. I'm not even kidding when I say that I didn't wash off my eye makeup or take my lashes off for like 4 days after the wedding. I know it's prob not the best idea (I at least wiped of the rest of my face) but my winged eyeliner and lashes were TOO good...it was incredible...I wanted to have them for as long as I could!!! Also....the fact that my lashes even stayed on that long! I've been in other weddings were they needed to be fixed before the wedding started. Also, also....I have freckles and have had a couple bad experiences with them looking odd/off after getting my makeup done...Mal nailed it all! Everyone looked so beautiful! Mal also did my makeup for my engagement shoot....which I also loved! Thank you so much Mal for being part of my big day! You helped make it the best!

One major request was I wanted the CEO/ Owner of Blossom and Beauty to do my hair and make up for my wedding day. She reached out and she said of course she would. You know when you speak to someone for the first time and just know that they have good energy/vibes? Well that was my first impression of Jasmin. I instantly knew I wanted her and her team to be our make up/ hair team for my wedding day. I felt like their prices were very reasonable! Their studio is so clean and nice. Jasmin listened to all my concerns and I provided her with Pinterest pictures at my make up trial appointment. I was also running 10 mins behind because I was lost trying to find the studio. (I'm bad at directions lol) and she was very understanding about it. Another reason why I gave them a 15/10 because I had originally messed up on the amount of girls getting their hair done. They were able to accommodate my bridesmaid to get her hair done because they had finished earlier than expected. I was so thankful that they were able to fix MY mistake. Now onto the quality of work. Jasmin and Shelby did such amazing work for my bridesmaids and I. The way she did my wedding hair was different than the trial and to be honest I loved it even more! That's when I knew she was an expert at this! My make up was so flawless. My bridesmaids were also happy with their hair and make up. From my experience, they are the best of the best in Portland! Book with them and you will be happy that you did!
