Ashley was very meticulous with my thick Indian hair. She had smart technique and a great attention to detail with the styling.

Tilly at…read moreMajestic Salon is the latter, and I say that as someone who has sat in a lot of chairs over the years. What she does isn't just hair -- it's an experience, a relationship, and honestly, it feels like coming home every single time. Let me paint you a picture of what walking into Majestic Salon actually looks like. You're greeted with warmth the second you walk in. There are snacks -- because of course there are -- because Tilly thinks about you before you even ask. She's checking in on you throughout your entire visit, checking in on whoever came with you, making sure everyone feels comfortable, seen, and taken care of. It's that rare kind of energy where you realize this isn't just a business transaction for her. She genuinely, deeply cares. And you feel it. Now let me tell you about what she can actually do, because this woman is on another level. Tilly does my hair. She does my 7-year-old daughter Josephine's hair. She does my 4-year-old son Ragnar's hair. Three completely different people, three completely different hair textures, three completely different needs -- and she handles every single one of us with the same expertise, the same attention, the same love. When I say she does all textures and all styles, I am not using hyperbole. I mean all of it. Whether you're natural, relaxed, transitioning, locs, braids, silk press, cuts, color -- she knows it, she's mastered it, she can execute it beautifully. And she doesn't just throw a style at you and call it a day. She looks at you. She looks at your face, your lifestyle, what you're walking into -- and she finds what actually works for you. That is a gift not every stylist has. Tilly has it in abundance. She is, in every sense of the word, a zeitgeist in her craft. Someone who is not just current but ahead -- someone who understands the full scope of hair from root to culture to technique and brings all of that knowledge to every single appointment. You can ask her about anything and she knows. You can come in with a photo of something you've never tried and she will figure it out and she will nail it. And the efficiency? She will have you in that chair, beautifully taken care of, and back out the door. She is always on time -- if not early -- and she respects that your time is valuable. No waiting around, no running behind. You get the full Tilly experience without losing your entire day, which as a busy mom, means everything to me. Beyond all of that, she also offers additional services -- eyebrows and more -- so you can truly get your whole look handled in one place, by someone you trust completely. Her pricing is beyond fair. Genuinely, it is. For the level of skill, the experience, the care, the snacks, the warmth -- she could charge more and I would still come back. That's the honest truth. She makes quality accessible, and she does it without cutting corners on anything. But what I want to say most -- what I really want people to understand -- is the kindness. Not the performative kind. Not the customer service kind. The real, human, I-see-you kind. Tilly has shown up for my family in ways that go beyond what any stylist is required to do. She has been flexible, understanding, and generous of spirit in moments when it mattered. You don't forget that. You don't take that for granted. And you absolutely come back -- not just because your hair looks incredible every single time (it does), but because she has become someone you genuinely trust. Finding a stylist who can handle the whole family -- a 4-year-old full of energy, a 7-year-old who has opinions, and a grown woman who needs her hair to carry her through every season of life -- and who makes every single one of us feel like the most important person in that chair? That's not easy to find. That's rare. That's Tilly. If you are even slightly on the fence, let me save you some time: book the appointment. You will not regret it. You will probably cry a little in your car on the way home because you finally found your person. And then you'll book your next appointment before you even get home. Majestic Salon. Tilly. That's it. That's the review. Go.shes changed our whole family's life. No matter your hair type, Tilly and majestic salon can do it! The best, the greatest. So grateful we found her salon, it's so much more than a salon.

Urban Spa Salon - Hair by Hannah

I'm a new mom and 2 months postpartum and was looking forward to finally getting my hair cut!…read more I'm unfortunately extremely disappointed in my haircut experience here. I booked with Hannah online and mentioned I have thick long hair and wanted a chop for summer. I've never been to this salon before, but know from past experience it's important to note thick hair while booking. Their online booking system requires the stylist to "okay" the appointment, so someone must have seen the note about thick hair. At other salons, most stylists will see the note and book out an extra 45 mins..or call to reschedule with an additional block of time. This never happened and lead to maybe the worst salon experience I've ever had? Hannah started cutting my hair, and was a quarter way through before she mentioned I'd have to leave with wet hair due to time constraints. I wish she would have been honest and up front and I would have rescheduled or found a new salon for a cut that would include a blow dry + style. She shampooed my hair for less than 4 minutes and everything just felt so rushed! I was expecting to see another client waiting for her but that was not the case. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. She gave me her card so I could contact her if the layers dried funny or looked bad...so off I left with wet hair and a potential hack job of a haircut. I don't recommend this place, I got in my car and cried. I expect to leave a salon feeling beautiful and that just didn't happen!

I'm going to start off by saying - Kelly at Evince salon, deserves an award. Truly, I appreciate…read moreher so much. It has been years since I stepped foot in a salon. I was totally traumatized by my experiences in California, and I let my hair grow and grow without attention, trims or anything fun. After recommendation from a family member - go check out this salon, I decided to make the appointment. I held my breathe for my appointment as I full well expected to be 150% disappointed. I always have been. The salon is off the beaten path - but it is clean, cute, and personable. I started feeling some vertigo symptoms ( something I've only experienced once in my life ) I shrugged it off as to not flake on my appointment. Off the bat - Kelly was SO kind, personable, and warm. She took great time and detail to go over the photo idea I had - what I did and didn't like about it, and asked super honest questions. Usually stylists look at the photo somewhat annoyed - say "yeah" a couple hundred times, and it ends up being something quite different. I truly enjoyed talking with her as she did my hair - and I began to feel sicker. She was super easy to talk to - SUPER knowledgeable in the art, and really kind. She was super attentive in grabbing me water, offering me food, and steadying the chair when trimming my hair. Long story short - I ended up in the ER for severe peripheral vertigo - BUT my hair turned out AMAZING AND JUST AS I ENVISIONED! She restored my trust in the art, and despite being sick - it was truly a fantastic experience. My only stop for hair needs. Thank you Kelly!

This review is for Lindsey Meese. I've worn hair extensions since 2002. I'm an expert in how they…read moreshould be done. This is the first time that I booked an install with Lindsey. She did not install my extensions correctly on Wednesday of this week. They are placed 2 1/2 inches apart and she installed the top weft too close to my crown so I need to wear a hat to cover them. She also sewed the ends of the wefts incorrectly so they flip in a weird way and don't lay flat. I was scheduled to go in to the salon again today to get a redo and a style cut to blend the extensions. This is the first in all these years that my hair wasn't styled to blend in. On my way to the appointment today Lindsey texted me to cancel saying she didn't feel good enough to stay at the salon for my appointment. This, to me is totally unacceptable and her comment was "When I have time, I'll look at my calendar to see when I can reschedule you." This is the epitome in terrible customer service. Anthony, the owner of the salon is a pro and this is not representative at all on how he conducts business. It's disappointing that Lindsey doesn't represent the true professionalism and care that Anthony exhibits as this reflects on the reputation of the salon, which isn't a true representation. My husband and I both love Anthony's work. I have cancelled my future appointments with Lindsey. If you read other reviews about Lindsey this seems to be a common practice for her .... cancelling at the last minute. As a side note, I feel it is very disrespected to be addressed as "Hey you" or "Babe." Lindsey has much to learn.
