He and his friends learned about this place…read moreat the annual Car Show. 2 of his friends had already gone together and I knew he'd love to have a go. When I went online to book, the site was a bit clumsy to find exactly all the information I wanted, but I eventually figured out what I needed. There are various packages available, from 1 to 6 hours. The 6 hour package includes dinner at a waterfront restaurant. I settled on the 3 hour package just for him, as it's quite expensive. (I don't doubt it, I don't want to know what they must pay for insurance on those cars for these excursions with customers off the street!) I did find it a bit annoying that a quote of $329 became over $564 what with an additional fuel charge and credit card processing fee. (How else does anyone pay for this?) There are discounts for additional people buying the same package. When you go for the experience, you are paired with another driver and take turns. For the 3 hour package, my husband had 6 supercars in the lineup to drive. There was a Ferrari 488 GTB; a Porsche Carrera 4S; an Acura NSX; a Mercedes AMG GTR; a Lamborghini Huracan; and an Audi R8 V10 FSI. These cars were clean and in good condition. The licence plates were crazy new, like DB and DD starting letters. It's just the drivers in the car, no staff inside. Prior to your experience, the staff give a walkthrough of do's and don't's, tips, and provide each driver with their own memory card to capture pics and videos of the experience. Cool! We were running late due to brutal QEW traffic. I called along the way and left a message, which was promptly returned. The staff advised that as long as we made it within about half an hour of start time during the orientation session, we'd be fine. Luckily for us, we were well within the orientation and didn't miss out. The staff also had me complete my husband's registration on his behalf so he didn't miss out. Good thinking! The staff do lead in a separate vehicle for the route, which is public roads around Stoney Creek. You don't pass other drivers and stay in "formation" so that the switch from car to car can be made easily along the 5 checkpoints. There was a pit stop at a local Tim's so everyone could stretch their legs and take a break. My husband totally loved it, saying we'd be buying a Porsche 911 the next day. The lead staff joked he had too much fun. That's the point, right? While I waited, I was able to sit inside the nicely air conditioned offices, where the staff offered snacks and coffee or water. He made the coffee for me, which was nice. There was some merchandise as well. If it weren't so expensive, I'd have loved to go along with and try it as well. In the meantime, my husband was thrilled and had a great time. Totally recommend to anyone who loves exotic cars and having a good time.

Booked my rental through CAA and arrived on location within 30 minutes of the interview,…read moreunfortunately the reservation had not been sent to the from CAA yet and i was worried i would not receive my rental in time. However the owner came onto the location and was very accommodating, he made sure to match my price rate with CAA and create an identical reservation. The second issue was that there were no cars at the location, we were at, the owner personally drove me to another location, on Main st east in a very nice jeep. When we arrived they had found that they still needed to clean the freshly returned car before it could be rented to me. As a show of compassion he immediately upgraded me to the very same jeep he drove me in, at the matches rate originally quoted to me by CAA and apologized for the hassle. All in all, the owner, Steve, could have simply turned me away and referred me to another franchise, but instead he took it upon himself to create a path for me to rent this car, a random customer. Thanks Steve. Thrifty, you guys rock!

Bought a 2015 Ford Focus from a dealership in stoney creek in March of 2020. Had 53,000kms on it…read more We thought this is perfect for me use for work. In November we noticed it wasn't driving as well (would like to point out we had done all regular scheduled maintenance). The RPMS would hover around 2-3 before dropping down, and would seem to struggle to get up. We took it to a ford dealership and had a diagnostic done on it, to find out it was the clutch. They wanted $2000 to replace it! Wanting a second opinion we brought it to another ford dealership and the amazing woman working at the front counter looked more into it for us. We gave her our vin and she discovered that in august of 2020 the clutch had actually been REPLACED by Ed Learn Ford. So a mere 14 months later the clutch that was replaced needed to be replaced again. Of course we contact Ed Learn Ford and they won't do anything for us. A "3 month warranty" no wonder Ford stands for Found On Road Dead. They can't even stand by the work they do and just want to continuously charge their customers for their crappy work. Used to love ford, will definitely never buy another, and won't recommend it to anyone. Already told multiple people about the lack of customer care. If I could give zero stars I would.

RENTERS BEWARE OF ADJUSTMENTS ON ARRIVAL / BEING OVER CHARGED…read more Read ENTIRE Rental Agreement closely. Important details regarding rental are not highlighted by rental department staff. You would think it would be incumbent upon Outdoor Travel management to highlight potential additional charges at pick-up. We were shown how to use onboard generator but not advised that there was an ADDITIONAL CHARGE for use. That important COSTLY detail was only discovered when final bill was received. Not only were we not made aware of possible additional charge(s) (charges as listed in the Rental Description (SMALL PRINT) / Adjustments On Arrival (SMALL PRINT), we were OVERCHARGED FOR USE OF GENERATOR. Adjustment to bill was only made AFTER matter was brought up with Rental Management. Spoke to Rental Manager then RV Sales Manager regarding matter. Even though the possible charge was not disclosed at pickup, their argument was "Use was listed in the agreement (SMALL PRINT) and to expect no adjustments". Having discussed matter with RV Sales Manager, this appeared to be a revenue-grabbing opportunity for company. There was absolutely no consideration for the customer! RENTERS BEWARE OF FINE PRINT IN AGREEMENT!! Had we simply been advised of use, alternative arrangements would have been made to mitigate the COSTLY generator bill. WILL DEFININATELY NOT RETURN!!!! If you are looking to purchase, drive up to SICARD RV. Have dealt with them on multiple occasions in the past. They know how to look after their customers and provide outstanding customer service!!
