Staff is always friendly. I wish they had more vehicle availability's . But that is probably because of their location?

Got a car from them because mine was being repaired. A week goes by I return it. They say "oh its got substantial hail damage". Neither my girlfriends car or my roommates has any hail damage. They were completely bullshitting. There has been 0 hail in the last week. I called them out on the bullshit and they keep hanging up. These people have been nothing but rude. They did this because I laughed at them when their new "hand in the key" policy got the keys locked in the car upon return. They did not do an inspection when I was there, they waited until the next day and then claim there is about 5 dents on the hood/roof that are not even visible (I showed up there and took my own pictures). Reserved a car and advised that I would be traveling one way back to Texas. I also advised them I would be paying with my debit bank card and would that be a problem. They said "that's no problem" the next day a day before I pick up the car one of the guy from this location calls me to go over all the info and my reservation. I again tell him I'll be paying with my Debit bank card and I'll be traveling to Texas. So I take a shuttle into town to enterprise tell them know I'm here for my reservation. They ask me for a major credit card. I told them I'm using my debit card they say i need a major credit debit. They then tell me I need to return the car back to Springfield Mo when I'm done. I said what it's a one way reservation. The manager says no enterprise that are doing one way reservations at this time. I say bye went to the airport and got a car from Avis Car rental. Thank you Avis you saved the day and won my business for now on. read more

Made reservation, called to confirm vehicle 5 min before paying $15 to Uber to location but guess what? No vehicle when we arrived! They don't care. New motto should be... "We don't care." read more

Tried them again so "shame on me". Reserved a small pickup online and after arriving had to wait for 40 minutes. Reserved a Frontier or similar and they rolled out a Ram 2500 turbo diesel. "It's all we have available right now". Will not use these jokers again. Never ever have even close to what you reserve. They could at least make an attempt. read more

I had to wait 30 minutes past pickup time and then I was issued a car with a screw in its tire. I noticed the low tire pressure light just after leaving Springfield for St. Louis. I was already running late so I kept driving. The following morning the tire was totally flat. read more

The staff at this location always goes the extra mile to make me happy! The cars are clean and ready to go. They are a little overwhelmed during peak hours but are efficient and can make what looks like a long line pass in a surprisingly short period of time! I can rent anyplace but chose this place because of the courteous staff! read more

My wife and I rent a lot of cars from Enterprise because we travel throughout the U.S. I made a reservation three days before we flew into Springfield. We never get a car from the airport site, we take a cab to the nearest off airport site. We were met by the manager of the store, what a delightful young lady, she was professional and very friendly. And, she told me that I could take the car back to the nearest store closest to our motel the night before we checked out. We have a lot of interaction with Enterprise employees, this manager is one of the best employees that we have interacted with in a very long time. read more

These guys were great! I was in Springfield overnight and wanted a car to be able to drive for the day. I booked a compact car, but when I arrived they had a Hyundai Elantra mid-size car waiting for me and the rate had even dropped. Josh was so friendly and got me in and out in a flash! Let me start by saying that I rarely write a review for anything but restaurants. However, the customer service at this Enterprise location was absolutely amazing! I mostly dealt with Josh who went out of his way to help in any way possible. Josh is an example of what customer service should be at every business. He made renting a car, which is usually a boring and bland task, a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Everyone there was very pleasant and easy to work with. My brother and I anticipated a long drive to a family reunion in July, so he reserved a full size car in advance. The morning we got there and were prepared to leave from that location with luggage and all with us, they didn't have the size car we wanted. Instead without having the time to go elsewhere, we had to take a small, cramped car all the way over 2,000 miles rt. It was awful, uncomfortable and not much room to relax. I will never rent from that place again. How dare they have you reserve one size,a full size car in our case, and then you go to pick it up and "oh we don't have one of those." Beware. If you don't mind a bait and switch, go for it. They say it's more expensive to rent from the airport, but you know what?, they have more cars and you can see what you're getting. Quoted one rate online and then charged a higher rate. I verified before booking if they'd deliver to the downtown airport, gentleman said no problem but, then found out a few days before the day of the rental that they charge to deliver it. I find this to be ridiculous and believe that I should've been informed of this originally, otherwise I would've rented elsewhere. I'll never rent from them again. read more

I recently needed a rental because my car was in the shop. Enterprise picked me up, provided a seamless and easy check-in experience at their Kearny Street location allowing me to stay with the car and Not have to get my small children out and take them inside. That is invaluable! The car was excellent. I needed to extend the rental one day and it was simple matter of a phone call. When I returned the car, their driver took me back to the auto shop. He even turned back around to bring me something I left in the car. Anna, John, and all the staff at the Kearny location certainly treated me like a VIP! read more

Check-in was fast despite me being an hour late. I got a great, new Murano to drive. It was amazing and smelled decent. The front desk staff were professional and helpful and nice and gentlemanly. Arrived at 7:45am and to our surprise they were open early. However, the CSR was very snooty. We reserved a mid-size car and was offered a compact car. Which was corrected after reinterating that we reserved or selection days in advance. We had to wait for the only mid-size option to come back from being gassed up to only 1/2 tank of gas. Get outside to inspect vehicle; the CSR gets in car, starts it up. Sits there fiddling with controls, clearing out the change oil warning, and messing with other controls. All the while leaving us standing outside the car in the pouring rain. No offer to get in the car while she's doing whatever she's doing. Doesn't show us where or what any of the controls do. Was able to leave soaking wet after 10 mins of standing outside. Get down the road and park at my first errand to discover the car "Jeep Renegade" runs horribly. Has a terrible miss, was convinced that it might die if leave it idling for too long. Drove from Springfield to Kansas City to see my family. Check engine light comes on and car starts acting worse. Just what I need now, to worry if I'm going to get stranded with my kids in KC or on the way back to Springfield in the wee hours of the morning. I did call Enterprise to alert them of situation. The lady who answered took down note that check engine light on. Told her she should probably note what it's doing. She says no that's OK. Makes me wonder if this was mentioned previously and ignored.... Who knows how over due the oil change is from CSRs clearing out the oil change warning. Needless to say, I worried the whole time driving the car. The check engine light went out after car was off for awhile, but still ran like crap. Not pleased with my experience. With the way the car ran, I find it hard to believe that it wasn't brought to their attention before me. And not just ignored like it's need for an oil change. With only 26k it should be running like a top. read more
