Nice people but this is just a gravel parking lot. Sites are close together. FHU and works fine for a quick overnight stop. Just off the interstate but road noise doesn't normally bother me. Would stay again if in the area and needed an overnight.

Rustic Meadows RV Park 2449 Evergreen Rd Stratford, Mo. 417-468-3644 rusticwoodsrvpark.com Site #215 Dates of Stay: 8/25 - 8/27, 2020 Rating: Located along I-44 near Springfield, Mo. easy to get to. Can exit #88 or #96 from either direction (West or Eastbound). Wide interior roads. All gravel. Nice size sites with concrete patio for the picnic table. We had full hook-up and they seem to be upgraded. Reasonably priced about $40 with Good Sam's discount. Wi-Fi is okay. No cable tv but we were able to get a number of channels using antenna. ATT cell reception was strong. Because it is all gravel, it is dusty. And our site was deceptively uneven. The convenience of being near I-44 results in road noise. Our site was the first one, so it would be more noisy than most but we are not sensitive to road and train noise and we thought it a bit noisy. And there is a train track on the opposite side of I-44. They advertise as dog friendly and they do allow dogs at no extra charge, however, there are no dog stations or dedicated dog walk or park. There are two trash cans that indicate they are dog waste receptacles, neither of which have been emptied in a while. Also, the grass areas on the perimeter of the park was not mowed and full of sand burrs. The laundry and pool advertised is actually across a paved road in an area called Rustic Woods which appears to be a permanent and very long term RV park. We got the feeling that the Rustic Meadows area was mostly occupied by longer term units also. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

We picked this park from the pictures of the barn with the play train and the pool.

Beautiful grounds and very peaceful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice size sites,…read moremany of which are terraced, which makes it feel more spacious. Nice swings and kids play area. 3.5 star update, because the WI-FI is spotty and only works intermittently. Internet is an issue in the whole area, apparently, but if your work or school depends on staying connected, you better bring a back up option!

Wonderful RV park! We originally booked 2 nights here but extended our stay an extra night because…read morewe enjoyed it so much. This park is family run and it shows. They are putting in a lot of effort to improve the park. The family that runs it is very nice and helpful. It's located right across from the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. We walked over one afternoon and took the tour of her home and walked through the museum. Neat place. The RV park is very grassy with gravel. Our site was pretty level and had lots of shade. Not all sites have full hookups so be sure to ask when you reserve. Some are just W/E. There is a creek that runs along the property that is cool and beautiful. Fun to splash in. Lots of trees on the property. There is also a small pond, a natural cave to explore, and plenty of areas to walk your dog if needed. A bathhouse next to the office has two restrooms, two showers, and laundry. We used the showers twice. They were small, but clean. The bathhouse is not air conditioned or heated so summer showers can be a bit hot and muggy and I imagine winter showers quite chilly. THE WIFI IS AWESOME! I could not believe such a small RV park had such great wifi. Thank you, Riddick family! The small town of Mansfield is just down the road. We enjoyed the local icecream shop as well as the pizza and pasta restaraunt. Overall, this is a great RV park. We will definitely stay again if we're ever in the area again.

What makes this park standout, however, is the staff. Every host we interacted with was friendly and helpful no matter the ask. I don't even like staying in our pop-up because it means we have to be near other people, so I usually prefer tent camping for solitude. Holy wow! This place is actually quiet at 10:00pm, 99% of the guests were delightful, the owners and employees went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, and we even participated in their Christmas in July festivities which included a potluck dinner and decorating contest. I will always remember this place and recommend it to anyone passing through or staying at the Ozarks. Love love LOVED it!!! (Part of me wants to give it a bad rating just to keep it a secret hidden gem because great reviews make places more popular and then all the crazies want to visit ;) But as Dolores Umbridge says, I must not tell lies) They're beyond professional, do a downright warm and friendly job of creating a magical place. Thank you so much for our experience that my entire family will never forget. We loved Osage Beach RV! It was my favorite part of our trip.
