They are so nice small campground but clean showers bathrooms and big open area to walk our dog they stacked some wood for us so we could have a nice fire thank you

Our camper space with a view to owners home.

We decided to choose cooks park because they had high reviews and, of course, they just happened to have a space available. They were very friendly. We called in the afternoon and let them know that we'd be arriving in the late evening. They were right on time as we arrived almost at 10 PM and made sure to get us to our spot safely. They even asked us if we needed any help with anything and offered a decent amount of information so that we were knowledgeable about the site. The site is simple, but clean and nice. The hook ups worked without a problem, there was a little dog area very close and the amenities were great with showers, dog wash and laundry facilities. We were only here for one evening but had a very pleasant stay. The entire site was very quiet and the owner met us in the morning just to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed to get on the road. I highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a stop-over to your next adventure. We are new camper people but definitely are capable of figuring out our logistics. There are many people buying campers now and the market is busy so this is Definitely a place where you can get a little advice and there is a local RV / camper shop to pick up any necessary supplies. We slept very well, walk the dogs and we're on our way. Good luck to all of you on your on the road adventures.

Site #9 - shaded, great location.

I am new to full-time RVing and if the RV Parks owners/staff are as nice, friendly and helpful as Jenifer, Donny and David are at Cooks RV Motor Park it will be a very pleasant experience! This park will be my first choice every time I am anywhere near Springfield, MO.

Spacious big rig site with table, chairs and fire ring.

This was a great find! Starting with the friendly welcome before we arrived through the thank you email shortly after we left we enjoyed their hospitality! It is a quiet small park conveniently located just off I-44 which allows east access to the Springfield sites. We have a 45' motorhome towing a Colorado pick up and had plenty of room in one of their big rig sites. Facilities are clean and well kept in spite of their current construction project. Highly recommend!

Nice swings and kids play area. 3.5 star update, because the WI-FI is spotty and only works intermittently. They are putting in a lot of effort to improve the park. The family that runs it is very nice and helpful. It's located right across from the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. We walked over one afternoon and took the tour of her home and walked through the museum. Neat place. The RV park is very grassy with gravel. Our site was pretty level and had lots of shade. Not all sites have full hookups so be sure to ask when you reserve. Some are just W/E. There is a creek that runs along the property that is cool and beautiful. Fun to splash in. Lots of trees on the property. There is also a small pond, a natural cave to explore, and plenty of areas to walk your dog if needed. A bathhouse next to the office has two restrooms, two showers, and laundry. We used the showers twice. They were small, but clean. The bathhouse is not air conditioned or heated so summer showers can be a bit hot and muggy and I imagine winter showers quite chilly. THE WIFI IS AWESOME! I could not believe such a small RV park had such great wifi. Thank you, Riddick family! The small town of Mansfield is just down the road. We enjoyed the local icecream shop as well as the pizza and pasta restaraunt. Overall, this is a great RV park. We will definitely stay again if we're ever in the area again.

Owners, Brandon and Teresa are dedicated to good customer service! Located a few miles off the beaten path, and over hills and charming country roads, is a hidden little gem: B Berry Farms. As you enter the driveway, you are welcomed by a seasonally "dressed" little, directional sign. But if that wasn't enough, if you give them a call first, Teresa will greet you at the front gate. On my arrival, both Brandon and Teresa welcomed me, and Brandon even helped me to back into my site, comically named, "RV There Yet"! The site was fairly level with both 30 amp and 110 available, a mini picnic table, a fire ring, a nearby water source, and even an outdoor toilet facility. Teresa signed me in and then went over a list of available products for the season. She also asked me if I wanted to buy some fresh baked banana bread? "Um... yes please!" I didn't realize how "fresh" the bread was until she told me that she baked it to order and would bring it down to my campsite when it was done. I mean, she had me at "fresh baked banana bread", but then hand delivered to my site? Wow! This was really amazing service. The farm has tons to do: kid's zip line, walking trails, adult size swings, and pick your own produce. There are RV sites, tent sites (some with power), and even a cabin. They also make their own personal care products and use some of their own natural ingredients. You can even order their products online and have them delivered around the country! AMAZING! Check out their website for more info.

My most recent was one of those giant group trips this past weekend. I've also floated at NRO and some crappy site around Steelville (Green's maybe?). There's definitely a reason we keep going back to OEW's and will continue to do so. First of all, Brian, the owner, is a super nice guy. We hadn't made it down there in about 3 years, and he still remembered me "Last time I saw you, you just got engaged!". Though not great at answering e-mails (just don't bother), the staff is quick to return phone calls if you leave a voicemail. The campsite itself has a nice layout, and they keep improving. Port-o-potties are serviced often, and they have a small shower, bathroom, and store close to the campsite (previously they were only available way up the hill, so thumbs up on the improvement!). The showers and bathrooms were clean and well lit, unlike some other places I've been. By the time we booked, the aluminum canoes were all gone, which is usually how we go, because they're cheaper. Now, no longer being the broke college student, I will ALWAYS pay the measly $5 extra for the fiberglass canoes. Molded seats...worth every penny. Remember that. In general, the Niangua is a great river to float on. Decent current, good sand bars, and nice cold water! And if you're going to float the Niangua, go to One Eyed Willy's!

This would have been a five star review, if I only considered the first half of my experience with…read morethis company. We arrived on Sunday morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to the fact my wife and I are older and I'm handicapped and don't walk well, they loaded our kayaks on their trailer and took us on their shuttle to the drop point and then unloaded them and took them to the waters edge. The staff in the morning were friendly, efficient and we would recommend them to anyone and the charge for the shuttle was extremely fair. However, then came the second part of our experience, when we arrived back at the camp via the river and were ready to get out. We were repeatedly told that they would be there to help us get our kayaks out of the water and back onto our trailer, but nobody was there when we arrived. My wife then walked up to the office to ask about getting some help, but an older staff member(probably owner) told her he was too busy doing other things to help and was very dismissive. When a younger employee volunteered to help us, the older man wouldn't let him come and told us he would *send him down soon.* We waited until it became apparent that he wasn't going to come and then proceeded to do the loading ourselves. This didn't go well, because we were not really physically capable of doing it without help, given the loose and steep terrain, but being determined and a bit angry helped us get it done. It's a shame, because this was our first experience with this company and we had really been looking forward to not only using them regularly for kayaking, but also bringing our trailer down to stay in their RV park. However, due to the way we were treated, it's doubtful we'll be returning. I hope the rest of you have a better overall experience than we did.
