The pricing is like a bad carnival. Tickets for every attraction and random ticket count per each one. Nothing special and overpriced.

We're in in Springfield to visit family and saw opportunities to get the kids out and active when we came across Rutledge Wilson Farms and the activities they have in the fall. When you have three little girls anything that is themed as a fall carnival option is a win. The farm has ample parking, a shuttle service for people who have difficulties waking and during the holiday season have events set up that are ticket based. One tip get your tickets early the lines get long. Free: a fun play structure for kids that is awesome. A pond you can walk around and animals to pet and stables and farm equipment to look at play around and take pictures. For tickets : Corn Maze, rides, bounce houses, face painting and arts and crafts. They also have a gift store and just a lot of beautiful scenery, our kids loved it ! read more

Hidden gem of Springfield!! Perfect place to bring the whole family! We spent three hours here walking around looking at the animals, going through the corn maze and playing at the playground! They have cool tractors you can take pics on and a bike area for small children. Highly recommend taking a picnic and spending the afternoon at this farm!! read more

This is a unique park that is fun for the whole family. There's a beautiful barn where you can see cows, mini ponys, pigs, chickens, rabbits, goats, turkeys, and more. The kids love the playground, which is also farm themed and has several "very fast" slides. They stock the pond for fishing too. The park hosts various special events throughout the year including festivals and workshops. In the summer there are summer camps for kids. In the fall they have a Fall Fest that runs over several weekends in September and October. The Fall Fest includes a corn maze, pumpkin patch, haunted trail (for ages 12 and older), cow train rides, and carnival type games. They also have two fire pits that you can rent for group gatherings. Aside from the special events, admission to the park is free - it's a great place to "get down on the farm" any time of year. read more

Great time. Parking was $13. All areas are good to park- a few shaded trees. If you park Near walkway you are close to entrance. Parking near the back, you are near the Clydesdale horse farm. Lots of bathrooms and places for shade. We enjoyed seeing some animals, but it was hot outside. 2 Free beer drinks inside the hospitality area for all adults 21 and over. We were there an hour. It takes about 10 minutes to wait for trolley on weekend and a 10 minute ride to get to farm. read more

We went there for a birthday party. The facility was as clean as where animals stay at. The animals were good and we had fun.

Great fun activities for everyone in the family for affordable price and close to the city! We went during fall festival; bounce house, horse back riding, corn maze, hayride, pumpkin patch, carnival food... you name it! There were goats, pigs, miniature horses for free petting. This is a wonderful farm/park for children.....pigs, turkeys, cow are up close and personal. There is a large play structure that kids aged 3 to 10 will enjoy..There are opportunities for fishing and picnicking. This may have been the perfect road trip stop! A 4yo and 2yo had an absolutely exhausting time running around the fields, playing in the playground, and seeing all the animals. There are clean bathrooms, lots of picnic places and tons of other kids running around to play with. We found a new regular stop on our cross country trips!! read more

Has a nice children's play area. Warn your child of the little climbing tube. I have seen two different young girls mistake it for a slide on two different days and fall down it. They were younger than the 5 year old recommend age as is my 4 year old son but he has a blast here. There is a pay catch and release fishing pond here I have never used. Not my style of fishing but may use it when my son gets older. Beats driving to Bull Shoals with a child that will bore quickly. They have chickens, turkeys and grouse to look at. As well as pigs and goats. There is a small track with little pedal cars. As well as a large walking/running path. In the winter they have a Christmas light display. And around Halloween sell pumpkins. The park on typical days closes at 5 PM. Any cars in the lot will be locked in. I imagine it's open later for the Christmas lights and other special events. All in all its a great place that I would recommend to anyone with children. read more

We went to RWF for a company picnic. The grounds are very well kept, and the animals give kids something to see (especially city kids that haven't seen a goat before). The fences are short and you can pet most of the animals- and they're clearly tame and well behaved. There's probably 8 different areas you can see animals ranging from quail to ponies. The stables were immaculate. The pumpkin patch on site is huge, and you can pick your own to take home. We were there during the fall festival, and the games set up were fun, inexpensive, and ran by friendly staff. Keep in mind there are no exotic animals, but it's a nice afternoon trip for being in town! I would say kids up to maybe 10 could be kept occupied, but much older would probably get bored. read more

Great farm park for young ages. They have a farm themed playground and a very nice barn where you can see the animals up close. They also have a fishing pond for children and a fall festival for several weekends in Sept/October. read more

This farm has all sorts of fun activities. We came here for the fall fest and had a last. Bounce houses, animals, games, rides, and pumpkin patch of course. In the winter, it also does a drive thru light show that really gets you in the festive mood after Thanksgiving. Very family friendly, and free to visit when it is not a special event. This is obviously a really cool and really unique park given the farm and educational aspect, and as my kids get older I imagine that we would visit pretty frequently. However, going to visit with my two kids, I was very disappointed. The only playground at the park is designed for kids from 5-12 years, which I believe is at the higher end of the spectrum but it makes sense since it seems to have been designed with the idea that it would be a place for Springfield schools and community to be able to learn. However, I was bothered that there was NOTHING for younger kids and that there is nowhere on the Springfield parks and rec site that indicates that this place is clearly designed for older children and not very suitable for toddlers or preschoolers. While I've seen that my 2 year old boy and 4 year old are just fine on the playground despite being younger than the intended 5 years, they are too young to navigate swarms of school aged children on it. the fact that we have encountered elementary school trips every time we go and the sheer popularity of this place have officially crossed this park off our list read more
