The car we rented was disgusting- it smelled so much like weed we had to keep our windows cracked the whole time. The alignment was also bad from the minute we drove it off. We called several times to get it replaced but they refused. After we returned it, they had the nerve to say we caused the damage and started harassing us for payment to get it fixed. I called the day prior and confirmed that I could trade out the current car I was lent for one with all wheel drive, set a time for pick up at this specific location with their customer service line, and when I arrived they had nothing for me and acted as though none of that had been shared with them - offered no help - and were generally unfriendly. read more

had a reservation went to pick up the car they said that I couldn't rent due to my expired driver license I had my temporary new license to show from motor vehicles but they said my temporary had to have the picture on it I always rent from enterprise so this was crazy I explained my old license has my picture and the temporary shows I am valid still would not honor that they ruined my travel plans I called another enterprise in Springfield ma and explained the issue the were happy to help and said it won't be a problem it just shows that this particle enterprise picks and chooses who they rent too I will not be renting from this place again read more

I made a reservation in March online and it was approximately $200, when I went to pick up the car, the agent, Matt, brought me outside to show me the car and then handed me the tablet to sign the contract. Luckily I checked the total before signing and it was $460. When I asked him why it was so much when my confirmation email indicated $200, he then asked to see my confirmation email. Good thing I was able to pull that email from my phone. He then told me he would fix it and said "it must be a system glitch". I felt he was just trying to get away with earning a bigger commission. How the hell can the system practically double your total? Be careful with this location and make sure you check your contract before signing! This location or at least their agent, Matt, is shiesty and I will never rent from this location again. Make sure you read your contract before signing. read more

Horrible management & costumer service. Manager Courtney is rude and unprofessional. Seems like they hire anyone with no knowledge of management whatsoever there. A bunch of crooks. We were charged 2 days extra for 10 minutes late. Note, there's a 30 min grace period. We were supposed to pick up the car at 2p but received a call asking if we could pick up at 5p because the car was getting an oil change. We had no problem with picking it up 3 hours after our reservation but they couldn't give us 10 mins. Courtney hung up on us for disagreeing with the charges. How dare we. Lol We've been renting cars for countless of years and never dealt with such rudeness, unprofessionalism and pretty much robbery. read more

My car was totaled in an accident in March. I've rented three times from this location. My insurance made the reservations, and everything went smoothly. The crew at this office are fantastic! Friends & extremely professional, with on-time pickups. I was upgraded at no extra charge the first time as they didn't have any mid-sized cars on the lot. I recommend getting the insurance! I scraped up the cargo van - the insurance cost far less than the repairs would have! I will definitely rent here again. Highly recommended. read more

Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly. Courteous. Amy was terrific!!! My car was in an accident. Originally, I rented the car myself for a week. When I contacted my insurance company, they said that they would pay Enterprise directly. I was upgraded to a larger car and a better daily rate for 13 days instead. When I returned the car, everything was all set and I didn't have to pay anything. I rented an intermediate size car. None was available so I was given a Dodge Durango. Much nicer than a Hyundai Elantra. When my insurance company upgraded me to full size car, none was available so I kept the Dodge Durango. The car was nice and clean. I've always rented from Enterprise and I've never had any problem. read more

This location has been awesome. I moved out of Manhattan back to western mass for a short time and split my move into two trips. I got a huge Chrysler mini van that was like less than 100$ a day and the car was immaculate, ran great and the customer service was wonderful. They made the dreaded move much more palitable. Absolutely the best customer service. Boston Rd. location pick us up at the hotel on time and got us in our car very quickly. Called the day before return to get ok to drop near the Amtrak station a little late and Alex said no problem. At the E. Columbus location the agent gave us ideas where to have lunch and bring the car back to them. Then dropped us off at Amtrak. I would only rent from Enterprise if the need arises. We booked a rental car through the Boston Road office because of car trouble. My boyfriend called today at 9am; allegedly they booked a car for us through the Springfield downtown office. We needed a pick up to get the car; they were supposed to come at 11. Well, it's 12:30 and we are still waiting for the pickup! My boyfriend called numerous times and was hung up on each time. The location closes at 1. Not reliable or responsive. read more

I really am disappointed in this rental car company. They are crooks. I used to be a loyal customer until my last bad experience with them. I went to them after my car got totaled by someone. Their insurance paid for the rental for 15 days I had a rental car for 8 more days after the fact went into enterprise to pay for those additional days which they charged me $250 to my knowledge was for the 8 days to find out later their keeping my deposit $250 plus the money for the days I payed to have it. Then they went back into my account without my permission and took more money $126.33 because the insurance company agreed to pay for a more not so nice car which I believe should've been told to me as I went to get the car in the beginning. I'm sick for their customer service their liars and thieves. Mind you I'm enrolled in there lil members club you would think I would be treated a lil better. read more

I was having my car repaired at a local body shop and they referred me to Enterprise.. I made a reservation several days prior to when my car was going to be dropped off. They said to call when en route to the body shop and someone would pick me up there. There morning of, I called, and it seemed like the rep was annoyed with me! I was told to call back when I got close to the place. So I did, and again, I got a sigh over the phone and was told someone might be able to get there in 20 minutes. Sure enough after waiting at the auto body place for about 20 min, they showed and brought me to the shop. My insurance would cover $45/day, so they decided to put me in a $50/day car and I was told that's all they had on the lot. This car was also still getting "new" tires put on it at the shop down the street, so again, I waited. Finally got the car- it was ok. A few days after I had the car, the tire low pressure light came on (apparently not new tires?) so I had to put air in them, no big deal. I then got a call from the manager stating that my insurance was only covering $40/ day so they would be charging me the rest. After explaining that this was an expense and I want a car that is completely covered by my insurance, I was told again that there was nothing on the lot that was a smaller/ cheaper car so the manager decided to decrease my rate on my current car to $40/day. Thanks. However I also realized I was completely tricked into purchasing the "insurance" plan on my vehicle. When I asked my actual car insurance company if I needed additional insurance on my rental to cover any damage, my insurance agent said absolutely not. So I had to go down to Enterprise and take this off my vehicle. They charged me over 2 weeks worth of their insurance when I only had it for 6 days. They also take out a $200 deposit which I was told they would give back once the car was returned. Well, I returned my car tonight and I still have a $200 charge and another $243 charge from the pre-charged insurance on my bank account summary.. I'm really hoping they will be refunding me some money or else there's going to be issues. Each time I called I was given complete attitude by the manager, like it was an inconvenience to be serving me. This place obviously needs more qualified help. Rented a vehicle from this enterprise recently. I needed to be picked up and the staff arrived on time and was very friendly. I was brought back to office - quickly processed my paperwork and I was off. Upon return, also received great customer service and was promptly given a ride home with a very sweet customer service rep. I would highly recommend this location for your car rental needs.
