Do not rent from this company. We had made reservations to Orlando and jetblur cancelled our flight because of weather so we called the Sixt car rental and explained what happened and they said it didnt matter who cancelled but they would charge a $100 cancellation fee which is crazy that they would not honor that request. No matter what we tried they did not want to reimburse us fot that cancellation fee even though it wasnt our fault. I will NEVER rent from this company ever again. read more

I was a bit skeptical as this was my first rental with SIXT. Location was easy to find, very clean and looked to be well managed. My renting agent, Richard was very gracious and ensured I had the right vehicle for my needs. Looks management has addressed any employee concerns as my experience with some folks mentioned in other reviews was very cordial and I had no monetary or other issues when renting or returning. Perhaps any lemons were either discarded or turned into lemonade. I reserved the car online which was super easy too. I will 100% rent from this location again, and thanks SIXT team for making my entire experience first rate. read more

I didn't even want to give this company a 1 star. they are scammers! I turned in a compact car EXACTLY the way I found it. I was so careful! They later sent me two bills. The first one for a toll and an up charge. I was fine with this one. The second bill was for a scratch (although it's so hard to see) and they want me to pay $1800!!! This was easily one of the best car rental experiences I've ever had. Check in was quick and easy, and drop off was one instant. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would have given this five-star review just based on that, but on the day we returned, we were having trouble getting a taxi or Lyft to Union Station, and the gentleman at the counter saw that we'd been waiting and struggling and he drove us himself! It was such a kind gesture and we appreciated his help tremendously. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Sixt again. read more

I had a wonderful rental car experience at sixt! After being in minor accident I needed a rental and called they had a rental and when I arrived all the paper work to bill the insurance was all set I was in and out in 10 minutes. The car brand new and immaculate! I used the car for 4 days dropped it off no issues on return that was only 5 minutes. This was easiest rental experience of my life. read more

Awful buisness. Still getting charges on my card from a rental two months ago. They never told me id be charged for using thier ez pass and now keep charging me for random tolls and told me they have no way of knowing if the last charge was the final one. Unless traveling in state with no tolls or enjoy random charges id avoid. Pay the extra and use hertz or enterprise. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I prepaid for a rental with this company. The car I received was not in good repair. It had tire that was losing air. I had to refill it twice in two days. I returned the car early, because it was not safe to drive. I was told I would be refunded for the unused days. However it turned out that because I prepaid for the rental, I was not entitled to any refund. So I am out the money and did not get use of a rental car. read more

I was attending by a worker by the name of Richard on the Six Rental Car on ST. James AVE in SPFLD, MA. The first car I gave back cause it smelled so bad of Mari Juana, the second car had an awful noise. I had Richard drive so he can hear the noise, the 3rd,I had to let the employee know that the tank was not full of gas So they can see that it was not handed to me on a full tank of gas. When I handed in the car I had a witness. The car was handed back with no issues whatsoever and with a full of tank. I was attended by another employee as Richard was not in. I handed the car in on Wednesday 1/20/21. I explained to Richard that I would need to extend bring it back as I did not know the timing of the closing to my house Richard said it was no problem. Prior to that I get a call from the the employee who took in the car that I was supposed hand in the car at 8:30am. Richard had not notified the employee covering. Meanwhile today, I spoke with Richard and my money has not been credited as of today. Richard tried to say that the car had no gas in it and it had a flat tire in which it was all a complete lie. He charged me 50 with taxes and all for handing in the car at 3:30pm telling me that now I have to wait another 5-6 business days for 149 dollars to be put into my account. If you rent MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A PICTURE BEFORE AND AFTER AND OF THE GAS TANK NEEDLE. What it appears to me that someone used the car after I handed it, could of been a friend of the employee I handed the car in and a BS story was created trying to put it in METHADONE it had a flat tire and no gas. Easy for people to get over financially on a customer. BETTER YET VIDEO EVERYTHING SO YOU HAVE PROOF. This is a lesson learn. read more

Worst renting experience ever. I called to modify the reservation 1 week prior to the trip and they wanted to charge me over $250 to decrease the # of days that I was renting the car for. Obviously, I didn't change it. Then, when I arrived there to pick up my minivan they didn't have it available. After waiting for about 1 hr they find me another vehicule but didn't give me a discount for the hazard and waste of time. read more

Rented one of their vehicles for just a day; it was an OK experience however I was in awe when K.S., Assistant Manager, asked if I had taken the floor mats out of the rental. Don't know if she was just trying to get a reaction or if she was serious. My take on the situation, if you ever rent from them go over the car thoroughly INSIDE AND OUT. I wasn't charged for the mats however I probably won't use this particular Sixt rent a car again. read more
