Recently, I have used Valley Transporter to travel to Bradley and Logan in Boston. I found the reservation process simple and painless - I even had to cancel and rebook my reservation to Bradley. My pickups were on time. The drivers were safe and friendly. The vehicles were clean and comfortable. My trip to Boston, in particular, we so convenient to get dropped of at the terminal without having to deal with traffic (50 minutes to travel the final 10 miles) or find parking. The shuttle was more than 15 minutes late picking us up but no one contacted us to let us know, and the cost for a shared shuttle turned out to be $15 more than a Lyft would have been. Two elderly passengers had to get out and switch to a different van 20 minutes into the 35-minute trip. read more

I signed on for a private ride due to a late 11:59 pm arrival. After departure, I texted our driver that our estimated arrival was a bit earlier than scheduled. But a suitcase was lost so we took longer than expected and I managed to text my brother, John, not the driver John (!!!) about the delay. John waited patiently and was very understanding about his extra waiting time. He was very calm, helpful and kind. Due to icy driveway and porch, he escorted me to the door. Everything about Valley Transporter is excellent, from the mindful schedulers to the punctual and careful drivers and the clean and comfortable vehicles. Our usual departures and returns from Bradley are often at crazy early (3:30 a.m.?) or late (midnight) hours, when it's better to hire VT than inconvenience family. I needed an insanely early ride to get me to Bradley Airport by 5 a.m. from Northampton Mass. Setting up the appointment online was very easy. The next day, I got a confirmation call to talk through the details of my trip, and give me an initial range of time (depending on whether there would be other passengers that morning). The day before my insanely early trip, I got another call confirming the exact time my driver would arrive. He arrived at 4:15 am just as arranged. It was rainy, but he was a careful driver in the rain and still got me there by 5 am. He was friendly (even at that hour from the morning!) and I was able to sleep for about a half an hour. Everything went very smoothly and I would truly recommend them. FYI, they have just reopened with new management after 2 years closed due to pandemic travel being slow. NOTE: the phone calls from them did not always come up with "Valley Transporter" on the caller ID, so just be aware that if you get an unknown call the day after you book, or the day before your ride, ANSWER, because it might be helpful! read more
