My renting agent, Richard was very gracious and ensured I had the right vehicle for my needs. Looks management has addressed any employee concerns as my experience with some folks mentioned in other reviews was very cordial and I had no monetary or other issues when renting or returning. Perhaps any lemons were either discarded or turned into lemonade. I reserved the car online which was super easy too. One side note: Always make sure you've looked over the entire car, inside and out, before driving off the Avis parking lot. Paul was working hard and I don't want to blame him personally because it seemed like he was doing everything he could, but at the same time I paid for a service that was supposed to have a vehicle ready at that time. As a service business, it's important to manage expectations if you know there will be delays. Thankfully I didn't actually need the car immediately. We weren't leaving for another few hours so it worked out fine. However, if I needed to leave right away, this would've been a major issue. After about a 40-minute wait, Paul apologized for the delay and got me into an intermediate SUV. My reservation was for a midsize sedan so the upgrade was definitely appreciated. The vehicle itself was good. The exterior was clean and looked recently washed. The inside was decently clean, no major complaints there. Overall, it was a mixed experience. The pricing was good, Paul was helpful, and I appreciated the upgrade, but having no vehicle available at the scheduled pickup time is a pretty big service miss. Luckily it worked out for me but I'd be cautious if you have a tight schedule. 3.5 rounded down.

Last time I traveled through here I was trying to make a connection and even though I asked the wrong person, he pointed me to the right person to ask. The time before that, I missed a connection because of a delayed train and the workers made sure that I was able to get on the next bus still. Not my favorite place to waste time, but if I have to be in a train station, there are certainly worse. Food options available include McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts.
