Taylor helped us check out the car, checking for damage and letting us be on our way. She was fast and efficient. Only reason we knocked off a star is because the whole experience took an hour. They were gonna give us a big SUV but one of the customers returned a mid-size SUV and they decided to give us that one instead but it just took longer than expected and we had things to do. I am appreciative of the staff at enterprise. The manager was helpful and saved my trip to a Conferance. I had reserved an SUV and a few days earlier there was a recall on the wagoner. He called me early and was very honest about the possibility of not finding a large SUV for my trip. Around 1230 that afternoon he called and said he found one after calling every enterprise. I was thankful for his professionalism and his dogmatic approach of finding me an SUV. I rent from enterprise at least 3-4 times a year at the Riverview location. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! I had reservation for a Premium SUV (8 Passenger) scheduled for pick up on 1/8/26. When I arrived at this office {at 8 am) I was informed by a young lady at the counter that that they did NOT have my car!! I was scheduled to leave on a family vacation at 10 am. There were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 children). I asked them to search other rental offices in the area and they told me none of them had my car. They even suggested a smaller SUV which was comical since I had already informed them there were 8 of us plus luggage and strollers!!!!!!!. After about an hour I was informed by the young lady at the counter that the Enterprise at Tampa International Airport had my vehicle. I requested that she reserve it for me. I was also informed by the Assistant Manager Sean Kuykendall that my car was available at the airport and that he called to confirm. I requested a ride there and was told by him that they could not take me there. I was forced to take a car service at MY EXPENSE!!! Mr. Kuykendall proceeded to tell me that I would be reimbursed for my ride and gave me his card with a note on the back requesting my reimbursement. Upon my arrival at the airport I was informed by the Enterprise counter staff that they DID NOT have my vehicle!! They further stated that they could not reimburse me for my ride and furthermore never received a call from Mr. Kuykendall!!!! They did check their sister companies but none of them had my vehicle. I was forced to rent with another company for approximately $200 more than my original rental!! I was NEVER given an explanation by ANYONE at the Enterprise office in Riverview as to the reason they did NOT have my car!!!! Not even an apology!!!!! It should be noted that I called this office two weeks prior to my reservation to confirm it! I think it is disgusting to be mislead and lied to by the manager of this office!!!!! I have rented from this office several times and will NEVER rent from here again. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTE TO ENTERPRISE: Please do not give me your email to follow up. Most things are what you would expect but manny gives the operation a special touch and the rest of the employees follow through. It's my go to location for transportation rentals. read more

I've put 5 miles on it since pick up and wish we weren't in a hurry and actually inspected the vehicle in deep detail. We rent from Enterprise for the nice vehicles to compliment our long road trips with family. Often we don't fit in our Jeeps, so take to Enterprise for their larger vehicles. I don't think I'm too out of line. We all pay a lot of money for a nice clean rental vehicles. Having service lights active and oil change light active is not to reassuring. read more

I rented from this location 4 years ago and had a good experience. Fast forward to now and the service has changed. I have been on the phone attempting to schedule a pick up for a vehicle my husband booked. What happens when you call is you get the automated system and then get put on hold. Every few minutes, someone picks up and hangs up or picks up and keeps you on hold. Not a word is said when the phone is picked up. This is absolutely frustrating and creating even more of an inconvenience. Now we'll need to take a taxi there and hope the vehicle we booked is available and ready. read more

THIS LOCATION IS HORRIBLE AND DOES NOT CARE!! I booked a reservations for a large SUV for pick up 7/25, and return 7/27. The week of the reservation i received two calls to confirm the reservations. During these calls I confirm the reservation and let the rep know that I need a 7 seater SUV because it was for a large family traveling for a family reunion. They assured me it would be available and they would make note on my reservation. On Friday 7/25 at 10am the day of pick up (pick was at noon), I was told the location did not have large SUV and wasn't sure if they would get one. It was suggested I be at the location at noon and sit there and wait for them to maybe get a large SUV. Of course I wasn't going to sit there until whenever, I had time travel plans. I did call around 1:30 pm and spoke with the manager Isaiah and he told me he had no SUV and wouldn't be getting any. So now me and my family including my grandma are left with no large SUV. They offer a compact car. That was a slap in the face. We had 6 adults and 1 child. No other accommodations were given, nor was there any apology or the manager or reps at this location even cared. It was "oh well" bascially. I never use enterprise especially this location again. This situation was handle very wrong and no one cared. there is a reply from the "manager" I reached out to the website when I was currently going through the situation and still nothing was done. and nothing has been done. waste of time. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I reserved a minivan for a family roadtrip at least 2 months prior to our trip. The day of our reservation, I went to pick it up and Enterprise did not have any car that would fit our family available. When I asked if they could work with the airport Enterprise to get me a car and honor my price, they just kept trying to explain to me that they were on different systems. I made reservations for a few days, rearranged my plans around the rental. I called the day before to make sure my reservation was still in place, they told me I was put on wait list and they would call when the had a vehicle. I then call the next day and the told me a few cars were just getting in. I get there to pick up the vehicle. Because I am from out town they needed a major credit card. Which I wasn't aware of until I got ready to check out. If you see reservations are being made from out of towners. I suggest this is something you warn them of before they make a long drive to pick up a car to get let down. The guy in front of me was even disappointed because there was no communication regarding the same situation. So those of you who rent from here and live out of town. I called to get rental on Monday but they had nothing Said they would get me one the next day but I never heard from anyone. when I called I was told they didn't have anything. I asked why I wasn't called she acted surprised and said well we didn't have any cars. I said so you don't call to tell me? I said that was poor customer service and would not get a good review. Twice in three weeks I have scheduled a pick up for a rental car from this location. Scheduled both for 11am. The first time it took over 45 minutes to pick me up. The manager apologized and claimed they scheduled too many pick ups for 11am. Ok fine. Second time scheduled another pick up for a vehicle at 11am - even asked if it was a busy time as I could change if needed. Was assured only 2 reservations were made and there wouldn't be a wait. I've been waiting over an hour for a pick up and am now late to work. Such an inconvenience. Tried calling and phone just goes to the automated system. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a rental car in the middle of a weekday. Do not use this location. They enjoy wasting customer time. read more

I had to get a rental car because my vehicle broke down and while I usually use my plus points in trade or add to them for future use I decided to split the cost between. I started my reservation with a phone call to this location and I spoke to Kevin about arranging a pick up since I had my vehicle towed. He explained to me that they were pretty full and couldn't pick me up until the next morning. Though they did have the size car I wanted so I went online to use some of my points toward this rental and split the difference with my card. I also ended getting a ride here instead of delaying my agreement till morning since I was stranded yesterday and need to get to work today. I will say even though my rsvp was accepted and confirmed once I arrived they did seem to have some delays getting me a car. All in all I waited about a 1/2 hour and they were able to locate a car and have it washed and prepped for me. I had a Nissan Altima and it was cleaned and already had almost a full tank. Everyone at this office was friendly greeted me when I arrived offered me some water and even made a follow up call to check on how the car was working out for me. I've always wondered what happens after companies' follow-up on a review by posting - customer service was utmost or their number one priority. Thus far, for me it amounted to nothing. In my case, the over 10 year relationship was something I was in alone. I was not worth the courtesy of being told they will not be putting any effort towards me. I finally got a call on Monday the 14th of October, from the Regional Manager after making my post. He asked me to explain what happened, which I did. He asked if I was the reason an employee called him crying, I had no reason to think that I cause anyone to cry and there was no crying while I was there. I was told that employees were told they are allowed to kick anyone out. I guess with that you can create a circumstance or make a problem worse to justify kicking someone out, without any repercussions. I was then told he would have the video recording for the time-frame pulled for review and I would receive a call by 4 pm the next day. 2 weeks has passed with no phone call from the manager. read more

The last 2 times I rented here, there were "no cars available" when I went to pick up my car. This put me in a major bind. In this case I got a call 10 minutes before pickup saying "your car didn't arrive so we cannot fulfill your order." I called their return number and nobody answered. Tried to reserve a certain vehicle for vacation as we were thinking of buying this certain one and wanted to test it out.Made the reservation a month ahead of time for a ten day rental so that the chances of getting this vehicle could be increased although we were told it would not be guaranteed.Several days before the scheduled pick up day we contacted this location to check on the reservation and was told that they were holding a totally different vehicle than we discussed and was told that's all they had.I understand there were no guarantees but I also feel that with the given lead time and talking with the representative that the effort was minimal and was given a take it or leave it attitude.During the one month lead time we were not updated or contacted ,just feel like the ball was dropped and they did not stay current with the reservation request. read more

Let me start by saying that I didn't go to this location by choice, I went because my insurance sent me there after my car got totaled and I needed a vehicle. When I went to get the vehicle, I was only supposed to have it for 3 days reason why the guy that help me offered insurance for $20 a day to protect the car. It was my first time dealing with a situation like this so I had no idea that my insurance was already covering for it, and I decided to accept what the guy offered me. Plus, the way he sold it to me was saying "well if you are only going to have the car it's $60 that would save you to pay a lot of money in case something happens to the car", and trust me after coming from an accident, last thing you want is risk a rental. 2 weeks passed by and I returned the car. They billed me more than $200 to which I called my insurance, and turned out MY INSURANCE WAS COVERING FOR IT the whole time and those $20 is just an extra protection (unnecessary don't do it). So I decided to reach out and try to find a solution, but I encounter probably the worst customer service person that pretty much told me " well you signed so we can't do anything about it"; i signed for 3 days, not 2 weeks. And after my rental got extended I never got a call to ask if I still wanted to pay that insurance every day which was why I was able to get a refund after 2 weeks of trying to reach the manager. Now after more than a month, I keep getting charged every week for hidden fees with the tolls. Every time I call they have a different excuse, toll service fee's (19.75 they never tell you about), comercial rates so more expensive and just overall a bunch of excuses to keep getting money out of you. For what they said, I spent $70 in tolls in 16 days IN FLORIDA, if that makes sense to anybody. At this point, I had to block my credit card or else God knows how much more money they will keep charging me. My advise, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Terrible experience. Hope you guys read this and improve your customer service and let your customers know all the hidden fees they will face later. read more

This location provided me with a great rental car experience. I travel often for work and I expect issues with reservations from time to time. When the manager of this location called me the day before my trip, I was worried. He told me that they did not have the vehicle class that I requested, but instead of ruining my trip, the manager UPGRADED me to a higher class car. The car was fun, my trip was saved, and there was no hassle. This location went above and beyond. Recently, another Enterprise location in the same city DOWNGRADED me when they didn't have the car class that I reserved. Rented a vehicle from this location for a couple months. On February 20th had to return vehicle and pick up new one and settle for previous months rental. Trey screwed up, I wanted to pay for previous rental with debit card so it was paid for. So he did that. The new rental car I wanted on credit card so it wouldn't drain my bank account. When I left I realized he charged my debit card. So I called immediately to get this taken care of. So he said hed return money to debit and charge my credit card deposit plus first week. And told me he would charge me $177 and change for the week plus $100 deposit. I waited a week for the money to post back in my checking account. Didn't question that it was the weekly charge was $177 because it was on credit card. The next week I renewed rental and was told it would be for the $177. And the weeks after that was supposed to be charged the same. I returned on the 20th of March. When I dropped off vehicle though I was going to be charged $250 a week. I was dealing with Kevin. I told him that is not what was discussed that he was $73 dollars high a week. He told me they made a mistake they should've been charging $250. I told him that I wasn't paying that. He then started to negotiate asking me to do it for $200. I told him it wasn't an negotiation I would pay $177. He then told fine I'll take care of it. I said to him I didn't want him to wipe the debt I rented the car. I wasn't trying to get it for free, but for what was discussed. He said No I will take care of it don't worrry about it. And ripped the paper up and through it in the trash. I was like ok. Thought it was over was pretty impressed. Was going to go on and write a really good review. I own a business so I know things happen. And I was grateful that they were going to take care of me. I'm glad I didn't write that review. 2 days later the charges showed up on my credit card and debit card. The worst part is I didn't realize it was coming out. I wasn't given a heads up or anything. So all I had in my account was enough to cover bills I had paid. Sooo... wiped checking and bounced checks. And they charged me the full $250 a week. Needless to say I was upset. I called the store, but Kevin wasn't working. So then I called customer service. They told me they would send an email to regional manager and he'd call back. Waited a few day and heard nothing. So I called customer service again. And was told they could do nothing about it they would get in contact with regional manager again, but I should reach out to branch and find out why they charged me. So I did. I talked to Kevin. He told me that he wasn't going to charge me but his manager over rode it and charged me anyway. He could not talk to me I'd have to talk to regional manager. That he had a conversation with him a couple days prior and he knew all about it. So I waited several more days and called customer service again. Got the same run around and they would have regional manager call. And I called 2 more times and got same response. This morning I called again and talked to customer service who hung up on me when I asked for manager. Then I called back and was given the run around yet again. I recently opened a corporate account with this location. And in the first 2 months of this year rented 3 cars. With that said we will probably never rent from them again. I have 2 other friends I know of who have corporate accounts with Enterprise, one of which owns a Fortune 500 company. They both told me they can't believe how this was handled and are closing their accounts. I have never written a bad review. Like I said I own a company I know things happen. But I also know that if this were my business and a customer had a complaint I would do my best to make it right, and I don't even make a small percentage of what they make.
