My insurance company set up a reservation for me 1 week in advance and provided me with a reservation number. Remember Seinfeld's routine about rental car reservations? Deja Vu! Enterprise was supposed to pick me up at the body shop where I was dropping off my car at 9:00 am. Didn't happen. At 9:15 I called the shop. They had forgotten all about me. They said they would leave to come get me right away. Finally Picked up at 9:45 and driven to the 7700 Park Blvd location. Even though Enterprise called me to confirm my reservation last week and had gathered all my info at that time, telling me all I needed was my drivers license and a credit card on the day of the rental, they wanted all my info AGAIN as if they hadn't already gotten it when they called me to confirm. I had to provide my policy number, my deductible, my address, two different phone numbers (which was quite a trick because I only have one), my Drivers license, and my credit card for a deposit. All info they already had (Except the credit card number, I don't hand that out over the phone). The attendant took me out to look at a car. The first thing the attendant did was pop the trunk to show me the spare tire. No Spare Tire. The attendant said I didn't need one. I said I did. I can just imagine the hassles I would have to go through if I had a flat. Went back inside and waited 1/2 hour for them to wash, groom, and fill the tank of a newly returned vehicle. I have a 4 door sedan and that is what I wanted to rent. I ended up with a 4 door Hyundai Tucson. Finally left the Enterprise lot at 11:00 am after 2 hours of frustration. read more

With that being said, my experience with Trent at the Pinellas Park location was nothing short of exceptional. Trent's kindness and professionalism were evident from the moment I stepped foot into the business. His customer service was impeccable, and he answered all my questions concluding the transaction smoothly and very timely. While loading my vehicle, I was also assisted by Ivan who went above and beyond by walking over to me and helping secure my children's car seats in the vehicle. If I could give zero I would. Ubered 20 minutes to this location after speaking with corporate to make a reservation and ask what was needed. I was told a drivers license and any major credit card. I stand in a line of 10 people for 35 minutes because there was one guy checking people in and out while three others stood by and offered nothing but attitude. I made a reservation to pick up a car and Uber over today. I got there and the front desk told me that they called me and left a message. There is nothing in my log. I had not spoken to anyone and spent $35 on Uber getting to and from. very dismissive and unprofessional attitude, saying there is no cars anywhere like this is somehow my fault and yet the website is still taking reservations, and these local people seem absolutely clueless about what can be done. Of course I'd give zero stars if possible, I asked that they somehow redeem themselves and pay for an Uber but their blank glazed over stares were indicative of what kind of service i had received up until the moment i left. we live in a tourism area. I planned a family vacay and reserved a car with Enterprise. The day before pick up I was told good news/bad news........not getting the car I reserved because I am only paying $36 a day and insurance will pay $100 but I will get a Toyota for the same $$ as the luxury car I was promised!! This car should of never been rented. I rented from the Nebraska location in a Tampa. I have been at the Pinellas Park location 2x on my vacay asking to replace this vehicle and have been told a different story each time. I am sympathetic to the issues that the hurricane has created but I just wanted to be heard and validated instead of being put off. This is not what I remember when renting a car from Enterprise. I've rented a lot of cars from many different Enterprise locations. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Checking in w/ the desk clerk outside went quick and painless as usual but the fun begin after that. They mentioned they were a little backed up and would be a moment to get my vehicle. Not a problem I assumed as there was only 2 individuals in front of me and 3-4 employees at this location. While waiting I watched the same girl who checked me in also taking customers to their cars to do walk around and get them to their vehicles. I also watched her check in a vehicle that was dropped off and tackle a couple other things. About 25 minutes later she finally arrived back to me. She informed me that they did not have the premium suv I reserved and the only car they had for me was the one that was just checked in. I was pretty shocked especially considering the number of Enterprise vehicles in the lot. I reluctantly agreed to the one car in the lot instead of wait an additional 20+ minutes for them to bring something from another lot. The kicker was the car that just came in had to be cleaned still and I had to wait 10 more minutes. And guess who cleaned it? Yes the same girl who had been doing everything else while the other employees sat / stood around inside. It's obvious to me why this Enterprise has problems there is only one girl here who works and the rest of the employees sit or stand around with a thumb in their you-know-what. She probably deserves a raise and a medal for putting up with her job and and her lazy fellow employees. Getting 3 customers out the door in 35 minutes when its not even close to busy is a pretty epic fail for Enterprise. This Enterprise has no clue how to work as a team, and I'm sure without the girl who was running circles around then it would have been an even bigger disaster. read more

I told the manager I was literally in an Uber on my way and that I needed the car because someone hit me. She had no compassion and refused to wait passed five. The tried to bill me 2 times on the security deposit and tried to over charge me for the rental. I had to Geico Ins to get the right price. Then after that they took money out of my account without calling me. We I called the manger Donnie lied and said he called I have a pile phone ALL call are timed and stamp when I told him I would screen shot and said that to him, he had no answer. Very shady. I drop my car off to be fixed enterprise was supposed to have SUV Vehicle, there at 8am. at 8:30 they pull up with a pick up truck for someone else at 9 am I'm still waiting so I can go to work. At that point took a car they had there that enterprise was coming to get later. Car is to small, called to get up grade that I had requested to begin with and was told none right now. I have tried to call back 6 times now they pick up and slam up on eternal hold like 25 minutes and I have to get back to work hung up. They are supposed to be delivering what I should have had before I leave work tonight not feeling good about it since I can't get anyone on phone to tell them earlier time I'm leaving. Girls in office are great but how would they (Enterprise) feel if they had to wait for an employee to get to work and they had been expecting them at a certain time only for them to show up an hour and a half past that time! Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Had reservations for a one day rental in an suv. After spending about an hour at the office I was unable to rent the vehicle with my debit card, because it was a debit card. This seems very counterintuitive if you have plenty of funds in your bank account to pay for the rental and any additional hold fees. I appreciate the staff being polite, but very dissatisfied and probably will not return in the future and will recommend to all of my colleagues and staff at the university to avoid. read more

They were the replacement transportation company while my care was repaired. They were easy to work with, the vehicle was clean and unmarred. The only downside was I was hit from behind by an Enterprise pickup truck in my car that was in for repair because they rented to a person who didn't know how to drive it and struck me from behinds the first intersection from their lot. read more

Giving 1 star is being nice as I can't choose zero. I reserved a convertible at this location for a day while I was visiting my 78 year old mother. I reserved the car several days in advance of when I needed it. I wanted to take my Mom on a special day trip and the convertible was a surprise for her. I reserved the car for a Tuesday morning at 8am. When we arrived to pick up the car they stated the car was at a different location and they had to go pick it up. It would "only take 15 or 20 minutes" to bring it to us. I explained that we had an early appointment elsewhere and could not wait that long. They then asked what other type of car I would like to rent. I wanted the convertible but due to time constraints I said some sort of SUV would work. The agent again came back and stated they did not have any other cars available to rent at that location and again wanted us to go to the other location. At that point I had already wasted enough time & we left. We ended up having to drive my mothers 16 year old vehicle for the day. My surprise was ruined and I had to put additional miles on her car which I wanted to avoid. Apparently Enterprise is great at taking a reservation but not fulfilling it. I give them 1 star because 0 isn't an option!!! read more

I needed a car while my car was in the paint shop. Calls to this location were answered and very helpful. Set up the appt and picked up the car. Short wait and out the door. Very informative of what was going to happen, so no problem. I left the car at the paint shop, per their arrangement (saved me tons of manipulation of time) and just received the invoice to the exact amount we agreed upon. Enterprise has always treated me right and this place is no exception. The car was ready and clean when I arrived. We were shown a few of the gadgets and how to operate them before leaving. I also like that I don't get pressured to buy their insurance. When we dropped off the car we were quickly given a ride back to our hotel. Just returned home (10-24-2018) from visiting the Enterprise rent a car at 7700 park blvd in Seminole Florida. We walked in and were greeted by a young man that immediately ask us if he could help, we responded that we were interested in making a reservation for 2 months out to go on vacation to the north. So he asks what kind of car did you want? We said we were interested in a minivan and we produced a Double upgrade coupon from LifeMart (ADP), at which point a lady by the name of Tiffany comes over and that is when the problem began. She looked over the coupon and clearly had no intentions of honoring it or even negotiating in good faith. So we ask what the rate would be and she replies with $170 a day. Which for our purposes works out to $1700 for a ten day rental. We have rented from Enterprise before and this time they didn't even ask if we were returning customers. It almost appeared as if we had been profiled and maybe a little prejudgment might have taken place. I'm generally not too sensitive to such things, but this representative went out of her way to send us on our way. Maybe a coupon somehow impacts her paycheck, but more than that, a returning customer that gets mistreated is all of a sudden a NON-customer. In the past, these folks had some wiggle room when it comes to rates and especially when you came in months ahead of time. I don't know what is different about the way they are doing business these days, clearly the color of our money is not green to them. I'm certainly disappointed with the treatment and if you have read this entire review, I hope that I have saved you from a similar situation. It floored me how this person looked me in the eyes and quoted that price without having a clue who she was speaking with. I feel disrespected. read more

I don't like that you have to bring the car back just half full since that is all the gas you get to start with. The tank dropped immediately as soon as I started driving so it really wasn't even half full. The inside front window was so dirty I had to clean it myself. Always a good choice! Rates and service are the best. I've tried other companies and no one is better than this team and this company. Whenever there is any glitch in my rental, there has always been an effort to "make it right". I have had to be a "frequent renter" due to family health issues and I can always count on these people to treat me right. I was able to upgrade my personal car insurance and use my credit card benefits to fill in for some of the damage insurance offered and I've never been pressured to buy duplicate coverage here. Other companies show you out of the office uninformed as they point and say "it's over there", whereas Enterprise takes the time to walk with you and show you how each vehicle operates -as well as do a walkaround to note any damage. First-class service with reasonable rates (usually lower than anyone else). If you gotta rent, this is the place! read more

Booked a rental to be picked up at 11am and they called at 10:30 to say that not only did they not have the car they promised, but that it couldn't be picked up until 4pm. Not only did this push the trip back, but no apology or discount was offered. Went at 4pm to pick up the rental and was told it would be at least another hour and that we STILL were NOT going to get the car we were promised, but a vehicle that didn't work for us. We were told they overbooked...still no apology. I'm absolutely disgusted with their underhanded business practices. Cancelled the rental and I will NEVER be back!
