I specifically reserved a particular vehicle well in advance because that was the whole reason I chose this rental company. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told they didn't have it available. No call, no email, no warning -- nothing. This completely defeated the purpose of my reservation and put me in a bad situation last minute. If a company knows they can't honor a reservation, the bare minimum is to notify the customer ahead of time so they can make other arrangements. Very disappointing experience and poor communication. I would not rely on them if you actually need the vehicle you reserve. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - What a joke, afraid to spend money on staffing. - Car Rental Near Me - Naples, Florida

Car was clean but had a 40.00 + miles already on it. The car was marked as non smoking, but if the car was exposed to the sun for a few hours and you could smell the stink of smoke. As a former smoker I am very sensitive . As a former customer I can say the service was just as impeccable as it has been all other times but the car quality is lacking.. I didn't even bother taking a picture like I usually do. read more

The staff was friendly and professional but the rental car windows were filthy, inside and outside. The front window was so dirty that I had to clean it myself, inside and outside, in order to drive safely. I have attached one photo. read more

Rented a car for 5 days with the deal I would return Car at RSW Airport. I was charged $2,000.00 because I returned to a different location. I spoke with at least 4/5 customer service reps and manager to at least get a small refund or credit. You know how they rectified the situation, they just stopped responding. I was told I knew the price when I reserved car. It is the same company... and I was a good customer. read more

Enterprise Pine Ridge Rd. Naples We loved how easy and friendly the entire experience was. We were in an automobile accident left without a vehicle while in the shop. It ended up being worked on for four weeks. It was so easy to extend our rental. The staff is friendly and helpful. It made a bad experience into a better one. On the return they were again friendly and made us feel welcome. I have had some really horrible experiences with car rentals but in the times I have rented with enterprise we have always had a professional and friendly experience. read more

I have been renting from this location for years, since it is very close by my house. I have always had a good experience until the past couple times that I have rented there. Both times I made a reservation online since I am a member. Each time they tried to charge me more than the original agreement was. The last time that this happened I asked for a manager and a young lady behind the counter said that she was the manager. She refused to resolve the dispute and told me that I was rude because I had asked her to connect me to the district manager. She said that she would not help me any further and that she would put a life long rental ban on me so I could never rent a car from them again. I have reached out twice to management to resolve this matter but they have been very slow to respond. Anybody that rents from them watch out for the manager Erica Houston, she is mentally ill and should not be in a manager position, extremely unprofessional!!!!! read more

Not the most luxurious setting but they get the work done. They are one of the few branches that are open on Sundays. Been here several times, they are professional but busy. Off of Pine Ridge, close to 41 north, just next door to CVS, it is convenient. However, can be tricky to pull out in the front. Go around the back, much safer to return to the road. This facility is small, not many chairs to wait, very basic. Tip- Join the club for free. Might as well get some credit and upgrades for using their services. They will pick you up and drop you off, limited surrounding miles, but definitely a big plus to choosing them. Cars are always available, parking lot is not very large but there is overflow next door. read more

There are lots of great Enterprise locations; this is not one of them. I saw several frustrated clients, of which I was one. Poorly managed.

RENT A CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I rented a 2023 F150 when I came down to Florida for my little sisters wedding. A wedding ceremony I was supposed to be in. The wedding was an hour away from the airbnb my family was staying at in Port Richey. 1 hour before the wedding, I get my kids loaded up go to town the key in the truck. Nothing. I flagged a neighbor for a jump, still nothing, called enterprise and was told I had to pay for their vehicle to be fixed. EXCUSE ME. I stay polite, I ask for a solution. So they Uber my family an hour away to the wedding and told me there would be a car waiting for me to take home. I asked multiple times hey just to be clear there will be a vehicle waiting for me correct? They said yes yes call us when you're there and we will direct you further. Well 2.5 hours pass, I miss my sisters wedding ceremony but show up before dinner. I call enterprise as directed, only to be told all the branches are closed and the only way for me to get a vehicle and a to Uber an hour back, from where I already came to the Tampa airport. Wow. This was my last day in Florida and I needed a truck to get to the airport by 5am the next morning. So I have to take another hour Uber ride with 30 min wait. 3 hours of my life gone. I arrive at the airport only to be told they do not have a comparable vehicle to switch out. Again I had no choice so I took a Tacoma and drove an hour back to the wedding. 4.5 hours of my life gone. By the time I get to the wedding it's dark out, everyone has eaten and my kids are about to go to bed. I missed a once in a lifetime event all because of enterprise rent a car. So now I was offered about 200$ off my rental. ARE YOU KIDDING. What a slap in the face, the only reason I was in Florida was for this wedding and I was forced to miss it. Thanks to the crappy rental they put me in. I feel like I was robbed blind and scammed. I gave enterprise MULTIPLE chances to do right by me, I asked them to be a human and put themselves in my shoes, they strongly declined. Whoever the area manager is clearly doesn't value and appreciate his customers. 200$ off is a joke and downright offensive given my experience with this company. I will tell everyone for the rest of my time my story of enterprise read more

Had a emergency and need it to rent a car pronto. With less than 30 minutes to closing time on a Thursday before Eastern ; JEFF was the man. He was great to work with, helpful and friendly. Was able to navigated through the rental process codes and discounts and hook me up with a great set of wheels at a GREAT price in less than 30 minutes. This is the worst most unprofessional business I ever had to deal with. A bunch of college drop outs with attitude treating their customers like garbage. Erica Houston was yelling at me because I expressed a complaint about their service. She demanded that I get out and that she would put me on a do not rent list. I reported them to their regional management and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. The bullying and harassment was nothing I've ever experienced as a customer! read more

Interesting process this 9.99 a day enterprise thing and thinkin about going to the branch next to papa johns and in front of pelican Larry's on pine ridge road. 1) 52 minutes to rent a car- with a reservation. Upon arrival- standard issue drivers license and credit card. 20 minutes later after a bunch of lip from some 22 year old kid who gave me a BUNCH of attitude asked for the following : Utility bill to confirm where I lived above and beyond my driver license. I'm starting this review with a 1 and for their sake I hope it goes up. Had a reservation all week for todsy. Spoke to local office a few times this week to remind them. I have damage to my car from the hurricane. Insurance is paying my bill. I call this morning to let them know I will be in around 10 or 10:30 and was told they don't have a car that fits my $35 a day budget and I will have to pay the taxes on the car out of my own pocket. Um, seriously that is not going to work. Let's see what happens when I show up to get my car. I have updated my review. I didn't give them a perfect score because they still didn't have a car that fit in my insurance budget...I have to pay the $3 a day in taxes. My customer experience was awesome and Matt, who worked with me was great. read more

Terrible experience . I called ahead of time to inquire about an old address that was different from my mailing address . I was told it was not a problem . I took their word for it .... as I had rented a truck from Enterprise just a month ago with no issues . When I arrived they said I could not rent a car due to the address issue . Management took no responsibility for the employees words . In fact , try acted as if it was my fault . Arrogant people work at this location . I went to Budget where I found nice people that provided me with a great car at a great price . No issues . Go to Budget. read more

I had a fender bender which I thought would only a few days. I thought my insurance would cover almost everything. To my surprise it took 16 days for my little fender and I signed up for coverage on the rental. I was visibly concerned and Natalia asked what it would take to make me happy. I asked for a reasonable discount and she obliged. I was impressed and thought that was something the competition would never do. If I have the choice , I will be back! read more

The crew here are very eager to engage with you and provide a high level of service. I know what can be so great about renting a car. Well service and attention to the customer makes the big difference. This location was very busy during the holiday season, but we were taken care of promptly. We had great fun talking to the staff about where we were from and who had the bast football team. This was way beyond just doing business, this was fun and engaging. Then we had to keep the car longer than we had planed, we called and they said, not problem. When we did return the car, which was in their heavy season, the placwe was packed with people trying to rent and pick up their car, The manager told me to just give her my keys and she would prepare the bill and email it. I gave her the keys and left the lines behind. Can say enough about the service I received here. Certainly I will used this Enterprise location again. read more

I would give them a zero rating if I could. The entire experience was awful. I thought I would rather do business closer to where I was staying rather then the airport. Boy, was I wrong! Worse place ever! We rented the car on December 26th. We had almost no choices. Got stuck with a low end rental. We went back about mid month and asked to trade it in. They said they no other cars, but they did. We made a deal to get another car. It was considered and upgrade. So we paid a bit extra. No problem. Unfortunately the car got hit, when we were at dinner. We brought it back to them. It had minimal damage. On the rear bumper. They insisted we had to leave a deductible amount, after I to,d them I had coverage on my credit card. They were loud and rude. And charged our card. Our credit company was very upset. They said they should not have done that. It's not entirely resolved and I have been home a month. They did nothing to help us with the claim. The whole experience was extremely negative. Would not rent from them again. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!! I reserved a "Ford Transit Wagon or similar" February 3rd, 2022 to pick up on June 11th, 2022to take on our family vacation. I called on Wednesday, June 15th and talked to John (who was not friendly, and seemed annoyed I was calling) to confirm that all was ok, because I know these vehicles aren't the most popular vehicles to rent and can't be easily replaced and this is why I am calling I don't want any surprises. He said all was good, that they closed at noon (when I had my pick up reservation time) and I said I was aware and that I would be there early. 4:00pm Friday afternoon of the 10th I get a phone call from someone else at the Pine Ridge location telling me they didn't have the vehicle that I reserved and was offering me other SUV or minivan options. I said no, there is a reason why I reserved such a large vehicle 4 months in advance and giving me notice less than 24 hours before I was supposed to pick up my vehicle is unacceptable especially when I called 3 days prior to make sure! He put me on hold for a few minutes, said they would work on it and give me a called back. I NEVER (to this day) have received a call back from this location, and I tried calling them back. I called corporate that evening as I was panicking that my family wouldn't have a vehicle to take on vacation and they reserved me a van at the Bonita location. I could at least sleep that night. I received a call from Bryn from the Bonita location at 7:57am (when that location doesn't even open until 9am!!) to let me know she saw that I had booked for that same vehicle the evening before, but that they didn't have it to rent to us and offered me some other options. I told her my situation and also said I needed to talk to the rest of my family and I'd get back to her. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to find us a 15 passenger van and SAVED our family vacation, when I haven't even heard back from this location of guys who's costumer service was HORRIBLE. If you need to rent something, go to Bryn in Bonita. The drive is WORTH IT. This Enterprise location needs to be shut down. read more

I just want to make people who are visiting Naples aware that this particular branch commits daily robbery. They make up rates, bait and switch their customers, threaten and intimidate people and basically just make renting a car a terrible, expensive, humiliating experience. There is a little dark haired girl there who has figured out a way to charge double your quoted rate while somehow making it seem like this is what you agreed to all along. When it came time to turn in my car, I was charged for bringing it in "late" even though I called and asked for a week's extension; for gas, six dollars a gallon at eleven gallons even though the tank was more than half empty when I got the car. A 75 dollar detailing fee for "smoking in the vehicle" when I did not but how could either party prove it? Also suddenly told that I was being charged 47 dollars a day when I was quoted and discussed many times a monthly rate of just under 600 dollars or 20 dollars a day. When I said this repeated to this girl she told me she " just couldn't find that rate anywhere." Also, of course, many intimidation attempts to buy " their special insurance" because " if something happens to the car you'll be charged every day it is in the shop." In the end I paid 1200 dollars for one month in a Ford Fusion. All the "special rates", deals, arrangements, discounts and whatever else they say they're doing will amount to double the rate you were quoted in the beginning. I've been using Enterprise for the past year as a long term rental customer. I won't ever be using their services again in my life, but if you are looking for a car rental I suggest you at least stay away from this branch. read more

Not a good car rental experience and I have to rent cars a lot... Then I had too keep it longer than expected 2 weeks while my car was being repaired... I got no discount for long rental, so I paid about $1K for a 2 week rental for a piece of crap...Staff does not have a clue... No management present at all... Rip off artists (Enterprise on Airport) By far the worst car rental experience ever. I had needed a long term car rental due to my car being totaled in an accident. A deal was brokered between my autobody and Enterprise. I had explained to David who is the manager, That I needed a rental as a car was not included in my insurance. He took that as I needed rental insurance. The shady part is he went back to a previous rental and used my credit card information without my consent and despite visits and calls to have it changed they refused. It is pathetic to have someone employed like that and especially as a manager. There are many choices in town and I will make sure everyone I know hears my story. read more

I have rented several vehicles from Enterprise from various locations and each time the service has been mediocre at best. I can recall one specific time at this particular location where an older couple filled the gas tank up more than she was required to and the Enterprise associates essentially made fun of them when they requested credit for the additional gas (although the customer was probably wrong, it was badly handled). Not only did these people get my paperwork wrong, but I paid a deposit for a vehicle that was involved in an accident and it has taken me close to 3+ months to receive my refund because of their incredibly slow claims process. I will NEVER rent from Enterprise ever again. read more

We had a last minute change of plans, and needed a car QUICK! Worst place to rent a car and the employees were absolutely rude in special the one who attended me called "Alice" I don't remember well, DO NOT rent a car here, and even worse they cant find the cars that people are supposed to rent , I had to wait like 30 minutes because the employees "couldn't find the keys" they also rejected their service to an old man who was waiting there since i got there and they said "We are closing in 15 minutes (which it was a lie because they were supposed to close in 25 mins) they said literally these words: We cant give you a ride because it will take us 20 minutes" I was so heated about this situation because the old man had to spend extra money on getting a ride home when he used their service and waited for so long to get that kind of response read more

Worst bunch of people ever. On hold for 20 minutes attempting to rent a $35 car for 2 days while my car is being worked on 3 miles up the road. Little jingle playing while on hold says "we make things easy for you" Ya right. So finally this guy gets on and says the only car we have is $69 per day. I said that there was a $35 car downtown and the guy says I have to go there. Only problem with that is that downtown won't pick me up where I will be. Is that making things easy for me??? I don't think so. The easy thing to have done was get the car from downtown to the location near where I'm getting my work down. Guess that's too common sense for Enterprise. read more

Disappointed with my experience with Enterprise. Was given a Nissan Rogue after calling prior to pickup and being told I would be able to rent a Jeep Cherokee. I own and drive a a Jeep typically so I am use to a SUV. I also have an injury that prohibits me from turning my neck and back fully so blind spots are a dangerous domain. When I arrived the Jeep Cherokee was no longer available so I took the rogue. I drove down the street about a quarter of a mile and felt uncomfortable and unsafe driving the car given the blind spots of the car. I turned around and headed back to the location. I told the team I felt unsafe driving the car. I asked if they could please locate the Cherokee or a similar sized suv for me. The team then said that wasn't available they could offer a a charger. A even smaller car than what I was currently given. I told them no I needed them to locate something larger. After not attempting to make a single call they told me they could not if I still felt uncomfortable tomorrow call. When I returned the car that I had expressed I felt unsafe driving the representative asked me if I was fully satisfied. I stated I was not and reexplained the situation to the representative. They asked me how they could make it up to me. I said they could not as they knowingly put my safety at risk. The representative then said in order to ensure I was fully satisfied they would waive the $14 worth of gas I utilized while using the rental car. I declined and asked them to please charge me for the $14 worth of gas I utilized. Disappointing to see enterprise puts a $14 price tag on my safety. If you need a rental car in the Naples area steer clear of this location. read more

Traumatized. These people literally doubled the rates they quoted me and this is how they do it. They will quote you a very cheap longterm rate and gloss over the *shorter term rates*, so if you ask for an extension on your car they will tell you no problem. Then they will charge you 100 dollars a day and 50 dollars an hour for the time you extended without mentioning it on the phone. When you try to argue about this they will make everyone in earshot know that you brought the car back LATE even though you extended it for maximum humiliation and stress. But the problem is, " you signed a contract" for the higher rate even though they never referred to it and kept talking about a much, much lower one. Until you bring the car in and get absolutely slammed with every charge imaginable. They have to make their money up somehow if you don't fall for their threats of ruination and buy their "special insurance." You'll get shaken down in the parking lot every time for this and leave terrified there will be a four car pileup and you'll be responsible for repairs "every day the car is in the shop." These people are really horrible. It's been a week or two and I am still upset by how I was treated. They are especially horrible to FOREIGNERS who may not understand all their tricky talk. Also not too nice to women, mostly just absolutely evil to everyone and I have been in and out of there now for six months. Try another company or at least go to another branch. I have never paid more money for invented charges and intimidation tactics in my whole life, and I've lived a while now . read more
