If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not do business with them. I even paid for my reservation two days in advance because I wanted the process to be smooth and stress-free. That was honestly my biggest mistake. Paying early didn't make things easier, it just made it easier for them to take my money and start creating problems. To begin with, the amount they charged me was higher than the price advertised online, which should have been my first red flag. Then the real nightmare started. After making the reservation, they asked me to send my insurance policy, which I did. The next day, at 6:30 PM, they suddenly contacted me saying that my rental policy needed to be verified. At that hour, most offices are already closed, yet they waited until the end of the day to bring this up. Still trying to cooperate, I spent over an hour on the phone with my insurance company trying to get the exact document they were requesting. After finally getting the rental policy, I immediately sent it to them that same evening. You would think that would resolve the issue. Instead, the next morning, less than an hour before I was supposed to pick up the car, they suddenly changed the requirements AGAIN, now saying I needed collision protection coverage, which is an entirely different document. At that point it became obvious what was happening: they just keep moving the goalpost so the process never actually gets resolved. When I told them to cancel the reservation since they clearly couldn't process the rental properly, their response was unbelievable. Instead of apologizing or trying to fix the situation, they told me I would have to pay a 15% cancellation fee for canceling within 24 hours, even though I had spent the entire previous evening jumping through hoops to provide the documents they requested. So not only do they overcharge you, waste your time, and create unnecessary obstacles, but they also try to penalize you for their own incompetence. And when I asked to speak to a manager? I was told there was no manager available because it was "too early" and no manager had come in yet. Imagine running a business where there is no manager available to handle serious customer issues. This company operates in a way that feels extremely deceptive and dishonest. Instead of helping customers, they create problem after problem and then try to trap you with cancellation fees. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Ace Rent A Car. There are plenty of legitimate rental companies out there that won't treat customers like this.

He was understanding, honest, and helpful with everything. Next time we're in Naples, Ace has our business.

They buy cars from Spaulding ; which is a place where cars can no longer run or are too expensive to fix or are unsafe to drive. Douglas Hattenburg has no business licensing to be a mechanic to fix these unsafe run down cars. They fix them just enough to get them off the lot and when they break down, then it's your problem not their's. That Kieth Carpenter can charge an outrageous amount to fix it. Then when you can't afford to pay it. He sends you another illegal business like his , a collection agency. Both of these businesses are not bbc certified. The second time I came in and thought I would give him another chance, but he started on me again!?! **OH NO - NEVER AGAIN** I can't be the first to complain about him. When I got in the car and got comfortable with it and adjusted the and that I looked around and I put it drive immediately drove to my car let me wash the exterior for free as I am a member and I spent another hour and 15 minutes with wet rags dry a brush scouring the interior of that car. There was food candy stuck to the all in the cracks of the seats, it was just absolutely disgusting. So after I got it to a point where I felt that I myself, and my friends and family could sit in it without getting something stuck to their clothing or shoes. I decided that I'm finished. How anybody could tell me they clean the car and have left it in the condition that I picked it up to is totally unacceptable. Now the product that they to me directly represents enterprise Alamo's image and let me tell you if that's what they're putting on the street. I want no part of it I'll go to a different company. I may be out of line here and if you feel that, I am please correct me. But for me to rent an upgraded car and spend an hour and 15 minutes sweating to the point where I had to go home and change my clothes re-cleaning a vehicle that they said they had just cleaned is totally unacceptable to me !

I like to read reviews to be forewarned about a business I might deal with. I read all of the…read morereviews about this location before going there for a rental, so I was a little concerned. There was no wait when I arrived. The customer service agent found my reservation without issue. She was friendly, professional and helpful. She gave me precise directions to the overflow lot to retrieve my car. The car had a full tank of gas, was a brand new 2019 Nissan Sentra, and was clean. There was a little scratch on the front left side of the car, but when I went back to mention it, I was shown a chart and she said as long as it's smaller that the chart, not to worry. I'm very happy so far and wanted to inform others that the past concerns weren't an issue for me. I'm returning the car to a different location so I'll wait to see how that goes.

What a terrible experience at this HERTZ location is at the Naples, Florida Municipal Airport. I…read morehad just gotten in an accident and I was picking up my rental while my car got fixed. This was by 10 miles the worst rental experience of my life. I got there and I have to wait on a steel bench for over an hour while they "cleaned" the car. Finally the car comes around and the seats have stain on them... It looked like baby food or something spilled in the center console. The overall smell of the car was off. There was nothing right about this transaction from the jump, and the guy over there is a jerk. The car drove Okay... I return it (now let me mind you I work from home and I drive the car for maybe 10 minutes every other day = I drove it for under 2 hours in 14 days.) and the guy tells me it smells like smoke in the car. I said, "like what?"... I have no idea what the hell he was talking about because I've never had a cigarette in my life. He said, "it's not the smell there's ashes in the car"... I said, "yeah and stains all over the seats were there too you telling me I did that too? And the baby milk". Anyway I determined it was a ploy to legitimately charge my card for $490 extra. I want a refund now before I dispute it with my credit card company. Any other similar experiences? Absolutely terrible what they are doing over there. Like I want to know where my option to dispute what he was claiming. What was that process and why wasn't it explained to me? Who knows, I hope they do something about this. That's a nickel out of my pocket just because he said so. I've never heard of anything like that.

It took a while for the guy to come over from the main airline terminal, but he brought the car over for me and had the paperwork and I was on my way within 5 mins of his showing up. I asked for the cheapest car, which he was all out of so he gave me a mustang, not too shabby.
