I flew from Incheon South Korea to Columbia, SC. Arriving at the airport at 11:30PM, I made it down to the counter around 11:50 to find no one present but a sign saying go directly to the garage. I went outside and again no one present. I went back inside to find an airport agent who said "yeah they leave early". Now after 20 hours of traveling I'm stuck at an airport trying to get an uber at elevated rates after midnight. The fact these companies accept reservations and don't wait for the last plane to disembark is by far the worst customer service I've seen. On top of it, you call the corporate/1-800 number and they are closed as well. Avoid Enterprise/National at CAE airport at all costs....you'll end up stranded. read more

The associate, Ana was friendly. Enterprise had an associate pick me up & ultimately took me home. Those were the positive aspects of my experience. It was all downhill from there! I made a few phone calls in the early morning to get a rental car. The first person I spoke with stated that I would be picked up at 9:30am. They have a 2 hour min window she informed me. When the call was disconnected, I called back immediately. I tried to reach the office directly, with no success, they kept putting my call on hold without saying anything. So I called the call center back and the second employee said 10am!! I made the reservation and tried reaching the office several more times. Finally, I got ahold of Ana who said they would come and pick me up in 30-45 minutes. Awesome! So, I waited...and waited until about 10, which was the original quoted time. Still no one had showed up. "They were dropping off another customer". It was now 10:18 am and no sign of anyone, and no one called me. I called again and Ana said she would send someone else. I asked the driver if the first person got lost. It was mostly a joke because they aren't too far from where I had them pick me up. The driver told me they were short staffed. My major complaint is that the deposit is $300.00!! Not one person (out of the numerous times I called) told me the amount of the deposit. I feel it is very sneaky to withhold this information until I was sitting inside the vehicle. The deposit was more than the cost of the rental. "In case you don't bring the vehicle back or damage the vehicle". I'm pretty sure if those things happened I would be charged a lot more through my insurance. Anyway, on the way home, the driver was texting about 1/2 the time, while driving. That was concerning as well. read more

My car recently got into an accident, had to be in the shop for several weeks. I went with this company to supply a car. Problem was that the car would pull to a side in the front, and make a noise. I'm no expert in cars, but sounds like a rotor or brake pad issue. I feel they should really look into things like this. Prices were ok. Aside from that, good experience, just iffy cars. read more

All other rental agencies are properly staffed to help customers. Only 3 agents to help over 30 people when I got in line. Do not rent from budget at miami airport, horrible service. The insurance company made a reservation for me because our car was taken to the auto body shop for repairs. I was immediately contacted by Dominic at Enterprise and he confirmed the date and time for pick up. I arrived and my rental ready and waiting. The employees were friendly and professional. So I've never rented a car before. I'm like oh, there's a Enterprise close to my house. I needed to rent a car because my car broke down. I requested a pick up at my house. At 9:30am. 9:35am I'm like I'll just call and verify they're on their way. I was on hold for a few minutes. I couldn't get ahold of them. 9:40am I call the 1800 number and they couldn't get ahold of them. At this point I'm panicking because I have a 40 minute drive to a job interview. So I decide to start walking. I get there covered in sweat, it felt farther away on foot. I ask to speak to the manager and Anna Villa wasn't in the office. So I let them know that my pick up was a no show. I check in and then the employee want to show me some cars and I'm like give me the keys I'm late to my job interview. I was apologetic at the interview and explained what happened(more people not using Enterprise) so i get back and ask to speak to the manager Anna Villa. Now she was in a meeting and couldn't help me. I requested a call back. It's been a week later and still no call explain themselves. I've been in the customer service industry for 30 years and I know how to treat an upset customer so when no one was was trying to explain what happened I escalated it to corporate. When i called corporate the first time they said they would escalate it and get back to me rigjt away. 2 days past by and i decided to call again. Well that person apparently didn't even enter in the computer anything about my call. I just wanted to be heard and compensated for all my frustrations.Well another week and I haven't gotten a call from Enterprise corporate. Yes, we rented a car here and the service was fantastic. Their extra help they gave us picking us up at the train station and taking us back to the train station on time was a lot of great help from. There are two Enterprise locations in Modesto, and this is definitely not the best and most professional. There are only two people on the front desk with three people behind the screen. One of those three had recognized I was here, made eye contact, but made no effort to help or even acknowledge I was there. Admittedly that was weird in and of itself. I waited five minutes before I asked if there was anyone who could help. They said there was only two people at the counter and both were outside. Again, not the kind of customer service I am accustomed to from Enterprise. Hopefully they are able to get this corrected and provide better service. read more

Shuttle was very delayed and lines were long. When I voiced that I might miss my flight the the driver became very defensive and combative and attempted to shame me in front of the other passengers (meanwhile others were muttering they feared missing their flight as well). Even after he dropped us off he announced "she should be let off the shuttle first since I was complaining" in a condescending way. I would have been very upset if I didn't think it was amusing just how hostile he got. He appeared to become increasingly hostile when he saw I wasn't intimidated. As I got off the shuttle and passed him he even lunged his head towards me aggressively. Customer service was lacking in his very uneducated way of expressive himself. Do better Enterprise. I'm going to National from now on. 4 National shuttles came by while we all waited for one of yours and were met with hostility. Raleigh's international airport. read more

The staff at Enterprise came and picked me up from the auto shop. When I walked in to finalize the rental, it was discovered that my license had expired in August. The staff was exceedingly helpful as we attempted to renew my license online. When that didn't work, they took to me to DMV where I was able to renew in person. I got there about 12:50ish they call me right before I pulled into the parking lot; to tell me they did not have a car for me. It was paid for and all. The manager said it they been booked for the whole weekend, and I can pick up a car on Monday. I overheard him on the phone with other customer that pay last night online for a car to pick up today and they were calling about 1 pm to let them know. I rented a car from Enterprise Modesto via insurance coverage on December 21, 2020, after my vehicle was damaged. When I rented this BMW at Modesto Enterprise Rental Facility I went over the car with Steven the manager on duty and numerous items were noted as not working or damaged, including but not limited to the antena, ability to use radio/sound system, (related to the missing antenna). Additionally the "needs service" light was on as I exited the parking lot. I drove the car back in and again spoke to Steven. He was very kind and professional and assured me that it was OK to drive with the "needs service" light on and that the car had just been serviced, but that they did not know how to get the "needs service" light off. I asked for a different car and it was late and just past closing time and he said there were no other options. A few days later, I also called back to get a different car because so many items in this car including the sound system were not working and it was basically a very poorly manufactured vehicle that had been driven hard and not kept well repaired. Steven advised me that they were very short on cars and that there were no other options. At all times when I had this car it was parked in my garage at night and I wasn't driving it much due to working from home. When I returned the car at Sacramento Airport on January 17, 2021 at 7:39am (with permission to do so) I was checked in by a woman in a Burka and no additional damages were noted. I adamantly deny that I am or was responsible for any damages whatsoever to this vehicle which was basically a pile of junk when I picked it up. Now more than 100 days after I've turned this car in - Enterprise alleges that these pre existing damages to the vehicle antenna were my fault and wants to charge me $227.90 for a missing antenna and cover. This is false and fraudulent. Avoid renting from Enterprise but if you have no choice be sure to save all receipts and notes on damage for at least a year because you just never know when you will get blamed for damage you did not cause. read more

We've always used the other local Enterprise locations and had resigned ourselves to subpar service when it came to car rentals but WOW. This Enterprise really sets the standard. We are so glad we came here for the truck rental because they completely changed our mind about the company as a whole. First, the truck was spotless which is never the case when we get a vehicle from Enterprise. Second, Chris was a great help with our rental- he was able to answer all of our questions and make sure we got the truck we needed. He was efficient and gave us the best customer service possible. When we were dropping off our rental we were on the way to our anniversary dinner and he made our drop off seamless enough to allow us to make our reservation with time to spare. Honest to God, this is the greatest experience I've had with a rental company. My engine needed to be replaced on my mustang, unfortunately the warranty coverage only paid for nine days of my rental and I've had it for about a month. Luckily the guys at the downtown enterprise gave me a courtesy call and let me know at least I knew what I was expecting I would've been livid had I went there and found out for myself a month later that I was gonna have to cover all these days which is of no fault to them. I usually never Yelp either, But these guys have been very helpful and understanding, they've accommodated my every hiccup. My schedule has been super busy and every time I was going to take the car back something else came up. I truly appreciate good people that talk to you like a human being and the fact that they were empathetic about the situation goes a very long way with me. This place has some amazing staff. But the cars are pretty beat up. Went got a rental, warning lights coming on, tires needing air, seatbelt is not functioning right, When getting a rental you expect it to be in great driving conditions...Had to go back so they can check it out... they gave me a different car. But both cars had stains on seats and well not very clean. But through it all the staff helped me and gave me a ride to and from the body shop, and did there best to accommodate and help with my needs. read more

Reserved a car through Travelocity several days ago to drive to the airport so I didn't have to leave my car. Took an Uber to Enterprise that morning and they tell me they have no vehicles available. They say they "tried to get in contact with me THAT MORNING but they didn't have my contact information". That's funny since I've rented from them before and they certainly had my info then. I explained to them I needed the vehicle to get to the airport so I didn't miss my flight. They told me there was nothing they could do and I was basically out of luck. Barely an apology. They basically seemed indifferent. Additionally, their vehicles are dirty and sub-par to say the least....unfortunately, don't have many options here in Modesto. After the misfortune of our vehicle breaking down on Christmas Eve while we were 100 miles away from home and the disappointing treatment we received at the Turlock, CA location, we went to this Enterprise location when a corporate representative transfered our rental reservation. While trying to pick up the vehicle for a second time I was informed that the reservation transfer wasn't made for a one way rental to the city we live in. Instead it was made so that we would have to drop off the vehicle at the same location we picked it up. This wouldn't help us as we needed it to get back home. As anyone may be able to relate, I was already going through the stress of having to deal with our bad luck on Christmas Eve which then turned into frustration after the treatment we received which only grew with the botched reservation transfer. Yes I was upset and was being vocal about it. However, Steve at this location maintained his composure, patiently heard what I had to say, and maintained his professionalism. Instead of talking to me in a condescending, antagonizing, and dismissive manner like they did in Turlock, he offered an alternate resolution. He explained that the vehicle I initially reserved wasn't available but that he would be able to reserve a smaller vehicle to get us home. This location had extremely poor customer service. I went to exchange cars and they did not have any in stock. They explained to me that it would take 20 minutes for a car to be delivered. I explained that I was a medical professional and that I could wait 20 minutes but any longer I would need to find a different alternative due to the fact patients were waiting. They assured me 20 minute waiting time. 20 minutes passed by and another one of the agents asked me if I would like some water because I would not be getting a car anytime soon. She said it be no earlier than at least 40 minutes. I would not recommend this place due to the very poor customer service and extremely poor communication. 9/24/17 update Customer service did contact me after seeing my review on Yelp. Unfortunately they wanted me to take the time to re-write and email my complaint to them. After re sending the complaint the following was their reply "Thank you for the additional information regarding your complaint. I do apologize that the Enterprise office informed you incorrectly of the wait time and then you were told to wait an additional 40 minutes." This response was not exactly satisfying:) read more

I took a picture, but didn't get to write my full review. So, the person that helped me (forgot his name) was nice, but the car itself is disgusting. I flipped down the passenger mirror, and there was a razor blade in the mirror, there were B.B. gun bullets in the cup holder, black oily fingerprints EVERYWHERE, a cherry stems in the back seat, and VOMIT IN THE CREVICE OF THE PASSENGER SEAT!!!! I had to wait for this car, but for what?!?!? Literally nothing about this car was clean. Not to mention, I was given the car on zero gas, so I had to run to the gas station before driving back home. I don't see why the service on this car was so terrible when I was the only person besides one family in there getting a car. I wouldn't have minded waiting the extra time to have a semi decent car. I have a 9 month old baby, so I don't even feel comfortable with her touching anything in this car. read more

I originally had a rental reservation at Turlock Enterprise. But they tried to give me a compact suv. After i had rented a full size. I ended up having to get my reservation transferred to Modesto 7th st and Natalie did an amazing job in accommodating us with a full size SUV with no problem! She went above and beyond to get us our rental made sure it was big enough to transfer all of our daughters wedding supplies and to be able to have enough seating for all of us. I appreciate Natalie so much for helping us and taking the huge stress off of us that day!!! read more
