    Working hard at giving customer service.

    I had an online reservation for a one way car rental, the person at the counter said they could not honor my reservation, sorry. Other rental companies said they had no one way rentals when I went to the counter. I was able to do an online reservation with Hertz and they changed their story at the counter and said I just had to wait for the car to be cleaned. Why not just help the human being in front of you at the counter instead of making them jump through hoops like that? Ridiculous. Word to the wise, make your rental car reservation online, counter service will get you a higher rate and possibly stuck without a car.

    Just ~31 miles later and there was 5 gallons used!

    I rented a Toyota Highlander and put 31 miles on it over 3 days. When I picked up the vehicle I noticed the fuel gauge was not completely on the "full" line (I did take a pic - which is attached). After returning the vehicle, I was charged for 5 gallons of gas and $17.55. (Note, this is not a complaint about the price of the fuel which was 3.51/gallon). 5 gallons for 31 miles, which means the Highlander averaged 6.2 miles per gallon. There was myself and 1 passenger (I weigh 170lbs and the passenger is about 130lbs). We each had a single carry-on backpack. We did not carry anyone or anything else during the rental. No wild driving / no lead foot speeding, etc. Watch out at that Enterprise location -- make the agent note if the vehicle is not completely on the full line (which I didn't do - my mistake). Side note: It was very early when I dropped off the vehicle and there were no agents at the inside desk (in any case, I was at the gate by the time the bill rolled in and I saw it). *** Update 1 David, per your request, I did send an email to Care@Enterprise.com with the information on Feb 26, 2022. *** Update 2 (March 2, 2022) After a couple of emails back and forth, Enterprise gave me a full refund on the cost of the gas. I've changed the rating to 4 stars (from 2 stars) based upon the refund. Thank you Enterprise Customer Service.

I called immediately to find out the details, the corporate center or call center indicated that this was an automated response and it could be a glare in picture or even bird wast. But, they changed my card two day before advising me, then to say it was a possible damage. After being transferred several times and placed on hold for hours, I was told there was nothing t hey could do. I requested proof of damage, an establishment of repair and recites. I was then informed the car was re-rented. The supervisor I eventually got to talk to said they would refund me the amount if they didn't receive proof from the rental agency in 48 hrs. Two days later, I called again only to be told after several lengthy holds and disconnects that they needed more time to investigate. I reminded them of their recorded call saying they would refund me the amount if they couldn't verify the damage in 48 hrs. Of course we were disconnected and when I called back there was no one that could talk to me. A manager would call me as soon as they were available. No one ever returned my call. I did get an email later that day saying that Dollar Car Rental had refunded my account along with an informal apology.

I was only able to get a rental after my insurance company called for me. The guy at the desk was helpful, but that was it. Car smelled like smoke.(offered for me to bring it in between business hours and they would try to get the smell out.) Dents, dings and scratches around the whole vehicle. It even had rust on the corner of the hood. I had to return the vehicle to the government st. location because it was the only location close that had a drop box. I was told to return the vehicle between a 1/4 and 1/2 a tank of fuel. I was then charged for 3 gallons @ $3.26 per gallon. Picture added to show gas gauge at time of return. This was a direct-billed rental through the car insurance company. Thank goodness his location "came to the rescue" after the location at Springhill Ave. reneged on our reservation. Believe me, I'm going to write a review about them also. Whitney and everyone at this location was absolutely wonderful and professional. They gave the service for which Enterprise is known. When the first car that we were given had a few issues, we just called the location to report the problems and they offered us another car, no questions asked. We have decided that whenever we need a car, we will use this location.

I waited for another 20 mins in the car, no one came out so I went in to see if someone could assist. A service advisor said they're running behind since they're shorthanded, apologized for the wait and someone would be with me shortly. So I waited for another 20 mins, no one came out then I decided to leave. Worse experience I've had at any dealership. Ever since they've changed over from Palmer's, the level of service isn't there anymore.
