Before this experience, I had been brand loyal to another rental provider - but when that provider had no inventory for the weekend of my visit, I shopped around and ended up at Enterprise. The customer service was impeccable from start to finish last month when I had to get a rental while my vehicle was in the body shop. All of the Customer Service Representatives were friendly, courteous and helpful. Kim ,Kyleigh (May have name wrong) but everyone I encountered was friendly. I rented a little car from the Enterprise rental on Airport Blvd and turned it in this morning. Malcolm was helping me. They keep charging my bank more and more money. It is getting ridiculous. He said I was getting money back $50 but he just charged me for the third time. I want my money back. I will dispute these charges. He said that it was tax or some other nonsense. They have taken over $100 and the last two charges were not authorized by me and I will get my bank to reject these charges. Plus I left a bag of cat food in the car and Everytime I try to call it goes to the Philippines. I need to talk to Malcolm at the rental place on Airport in Mobile, AL. I don't like people thinking they can take my money without an authorization from me. That is just plain stealing and whomever has my money needs to send it back. I will never rent from y'all again. I had an online reservation for a one way car rental, the person at the counter said they could not honor my reservation, sorry. Other rental companies said they had no one way rentals when I went to the counter. I was able to do an online reservation with Hertz and they changed their story at the counter and said I just had to wait for the car to be cleaned. Why not just help the human being in front of you at the counter instead of making them jump through hoops like that? Ridiculous. Word to the wise, make your rental car reservation online, counter service will get you a higher rate and possibly stuck without a car. read more

Waiting for 2.5 hours for a car I reserved 3 days ago. Not sure these idiots understand how reservations work. Don't rent a car at Enterprise or National in the MOB airport. There's no waiting at hertz/dollar/thrifty. There's also no waiting at the Alamo desk. There's no waiting at the Avis/Budget desk. This branch is obviously poorly managed. I rented a Toyota Highlander and put 31 miles on it over 3 days. When I picked up the vehicle I noticed the fuel gauge was not completely on the "full" line (I did take a pic - which is attached). After returning the vehicle, I was charged for 5 gallons of gas and $17.55. (Note, this is not a complaint about the price of the fuel which was 3.51/gallon). 5 gallons for 31 miles, which means the Highlander averaged 6.2 miles per gallon. There was myself and 1 passenger (I weigh 170lbs and the passenger is about 130lbs). We each had a single carry-on backpack. We did not carry anyone or anything else during the rental. No wild driving / no lead foot speeding, etc. Watch out at that Enterprise location -- make the agent note if the vehicle is not completely on the full line (which I didn't do - my mistake). Side note: It was very early when I dropped off the vehicle and there were no agents at the inside desk (in any case, I was at the gate by the time the bill rolled in and I saw it). *** Update 1 David, per your request, I did send an email to Care@Enterprise.com with the information on Feb 26, 2022. *** Update 2 (March 2, 2022) After a couple of emails back and forth, Enterprise gave me a full refund on the cost of the gas. They take your deposit and tell you the money will be released as soon as the car is inspected and found ok. 5 days later I still don't have my deposit. I called to make my reservation to ensure they had the vehicle I needed. I specifically needed a truck. I Arrived at the location a little early but no one was at the counter for over 30 minutes. My boyfriend finally tracked down the counter associate in the parking lot to let her know we were waiting. Then she tells me even though I have a reservation they not only didn't have the vehicle I needed but they had no vehicles. When I asked how that was possible she responded and said it's a glitch in the system. Which is why I chose to call to make the reservation thinking it's would be more accurate then the app. This is unacceptable. This completely ruined our plans. We were so disappointed. It was too late to make any other arrangements. There should be a check system in place that the counter associate could have seen the reservation and called to let me know ahead of time they didn't have any vehicles. I could have made other arrangements. But at 9pm there were no other options. Not only can I not recommend this location but I cannot recommend Enterprise at all. read more

There were no cars available when I tried to rent one, but a lady at the rental desk named Ashley was soooooo helpful. Then when I returned my car, Hirom who was working the return lot came over to help me too. And I wasn't even an Enterprise customer! I would give them negative 100 stars. My husband and I broke down on the interstate around 9:00 at night and after taking a ride with the tow driver to the car repair place. We made an reservation while standing on the side of the interstate prior to all of this.The woman who made the reservation for us said that they would stay open for us until 11:29 bc the place closed at 11:30. At first we were grateful bc usually last call was 11:15 to pick up a car but because we had an emergency she said they would help. Well when we arrived to the airport at 10:50 PM no one was at the desk and security guard had informed us they had already left for the evening. So we spent over $100 to get to the airport in cab fare to turn around and pay another taxi to take us back to an unsafe location to sleep in a car because all of the hotels were fully booked. We got to stare at The Marriott hotel from our car window while people who were strung out drugs kept coming up to our car. Fast forward the next day. The lady we talked to informed us there was nothing they could do. They said we could rent the car for the next day but we had to find our own way back to the airport after being put out $100 on cab fare to get there the first time. It was against protocol to send a driver to pick us up. In fact they don't even do same day pick up. I understand the protocols for a normal situation, but it was their fault we couldn't get the car in the first place. As a business owner my self I would have never treated another human being in such matter. If ever a person was dissatisfied with my business I would have gone over and beyond to make said person happy. Unfortunately Enterprise doesn't share the same values Of hard working American people because we are just one person in a whole universe of people and just the average working person doesn't matter to them. Funny how their slogan is Enterprise will pick you up! and she absolutely refused to do anything to help out. So I will never rent a car from this company and I work for a very popular Babrber shop in a prime vacation destination in I have a very big mouth and word travels fast and nothing spreads faster than bad news. This company is a disgrace and I have never been more dissatisfied and disappointed in a business in my life. We waited 40 minutes at the airport praying an person that worked for Enterprise would come out of the back room to help us. We contacted Enterprise call center because the manager of this location couldn't be bothered and still hasn't returned my phone call. I've always rented from Enterprise, this past time they did not have the Compact SUV, so they upgraded me to Standard SUV. I was pleased with that. I had to wait longer than usual for her to find me a vehicle but it was worth it. Customer Service is always excellent! We told her we had a long drive to go to a funeral and she was very sympathetic, saying she wanted us to be comfortable. Upon returning, there was someone standing in the parking lot that checked my vehicle in and gave me my receipt. I have been an Enterprise customer for years and the last 2 times I rented they did not have the vehicle that I requested. The first time I had to go to another company. This time I waited for over an hour and a half before they got a vehicle in. I made my reservation two months in advance. My family was traveling to my son's college graduation and a smaller vehicle was not an option. The only reason I am rating 2 is because the staff worked hard to rectify the problem. There needs to be a better system to ensure reserved vehicles are ready. read more

Very nice staff. I choose the airport location because of the convenient hours. Their working hours are more accommodating to my needs. The car was quite dirty this time, ie dirty windows, dirty car(exterior) and stained seats, but enterprise is still my go to car rental company. They are always great to deal with and their prices are usually very competitive. They have someone at return that meets you outside, so the return took less than 3 min. WOW that was awesome. I use enterprise during vacation time, every year. They are so nice and helpful and I have yet to have an issue with a vehicle. I have been using them for about 5 years now and plan on using them for many more years to come. read more

Easy, quick and cheerful pickup, and the car itself was fine as far as model, etc. It reeked of cigarette smoke (well, first it reeked of air freshener, then that wore off and then it reeked of smoke.) Also, no fluid in the windshield washer. Had an early flight so I used the key drop and called the desk a couple days later, and they told me sorry, we can't do anything for you. Guess I should have called in the middle of my business trip. read more
