This may seem petty to some people but I feel like the details really matter when it comes to customer service.
I arrived a couple hours before my flight, and was carrying many bags with me and wearing work attire (and heels). When I got to the desk to drop off my car the employee told me I would have to go all the way back to the car and get my mileage. I have NEVER had to do this. This is why there are people working there. A helper usually does the checking when you return a car. So, with shock I asked if her if there was someone else who worked there who could do that. She said no. She didn't apologize. Just starred at me with a blank look on her face.
So I dragged my stuff all the way back. When I returned, she was chatting away with a guy who obviously works there and does the check out of cars.
She was lazy. She didn't want to find him to ask him to do it. I really wanted to let her have it, but instead I decided to inform people and recorded they chose another rental provider. Try Alamo or Hertz. They have locations there. read more
