Well, I seem to have gotten myself into a pickle and the friendly folks at Enterprise Rent-A-Car helped me out. They went above and beyond the call of duty when I was experiencing one of those no good, incredibly trying days that make you question what it all means. God bless octogenarians who still feel comfortable behind the wheel. If you can reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel, I say have at it! The problem is, on this particular spring day on the Gulf Coast, I ran into someone who cared more about dodging the squirrel in front of her than paying attention to the cars around her. A 35 MPH slam-bang-smash left me without wheels on a holiday weekend with no available rental cars to be found in the region. The folks at this Enterprise location spent 30 minutes making phone calls and coordinating efforts to get me back on the road. They ordered food for me, swapped out my smashed up economy car for a luxury car at no additional expense, and sent me on my way. Aside from not having an accident in the first place, I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. Thank you, Enterprise. Notes for Enjoyable Rental Car Experiences: 1. Never had a good experience here, but it's who my work contracts with, so I am stuck. My most recent visit, I waited an hour before someone took me out to the first truck. This one smelled like smoke, but I was ready to get out of there so I was going to take it, but then they saw it was out of gas so we had to start the process all over. The next truck they gave me, I found the passenger mirror glass smashed and hanging off. The employee did not notice it during their walk around so I made him come back and look at it so that he could notate it. I even reattached the mirror to the base so that it was usable. He tried to give me yet another vehicle, but again I was tired of waiting and took this one. Weeks after turning the vehicle in, they are trying to go after my insurance for the mirror. I went and spoke to the manager Scout but have yet to have any contact back from him. read more

I drove from Nola to mobile and picked this location to drop off my car. It was only 12 minutes away from the cruise port. The guy checked my car efficiently and the return was smooth, it took about 2 minutes. Customer service overall was great and they offered to drop us off nearby. We requested a drop off a few blocks away at the mall. They have an enterprise shuttle for this purpose! I'm very happy with my enterprise experience this trip! read more

Reserved a car months ago. Reservation was at 10, got here at 9:30, didn't get checked in until 10. Didn't leave until 11:50 because they didn't have any cars available. The staff was extremely nice when getting there but when I called 2x before hand they answered and hung up on me within 5 seconds each time. When I got there they were extremely busy which is fine but if you're that busy that you're going to hang up on me, please don't answer the phone. they did at least check to see if the car was clean which it was. Customer service was good but we literally tried 3 cars and they all smelled like cigarette smoke. And the salespeople say they cannot smell it in vehicle. They were quick to give us another vehicle but 24 hours later and the smoke smell permeated through all of the masking scents they put in vehicle. I would be careful renting from this location if looking for a non smoked in vehicle. read more

I don't often leave reviews but today is different. I picked this place online for a business trip to Mobile. The staff at enterprise was extremely helpful and professional. I was very happy with my vehicle and they gave me a ride back after dropping it off. Next time I'm in Mobile I won't even be checking other rental places. I'm coming back here. read more

Their idea of "curbside pickup to get you in and out faster" consists of having their customers sit outside in the August heat for 1.5 hours (at least that's how long I made it before cancelling and going elsewhere). 8-10 people were waiting the entire time I was there. Enterprise either didn't have enough cars, or employees, or they overbooked. Heat index was 101. We were given chairs under a small overhang that didn't protect us from the sun nor rain nor vehicle exhaust. I understand covid restrictions, but if they had a basic respect for their customers they would have set up a better waiting area, providing water A/C or at least a fan. Go give your money to a rental company that values your time. read more

Would never go to this location again!! Was on hold for 30 minutes on the phone, and was told when I arrived to the location "that the person designated for the phone had to go back and forth outside and was unable to take calls". Once there waited 1.5 for a reservation. People that arrived after me was taken care of and put in a vehicle. No consideration for customers and was treated rudely by staff. Called enterprise to escalate the issue and never heard back even though being told that a manager would be contacting me. I made a reservation at at 3:45- 4:30. The lady that I made a reservation with did not tell me that I had to go to government to pick up my vehicle. I went to the location that I looked up. Called the same number that routed me back to the same location and waited on the line for another 10 mins due to as soon as They answered the line, the lady asked me to hold the line. Then she tells me that I was late that's why I didn't have a vehicle and hung the phone up when I asked to speak with a manger. Terrible customer service read more

Great place that helped me out in a pinch through my insurance company after my car was the victim in an accident. Enterprise on Government picked me up at auto nation close by and helped me into a Toyota Yarvis when my car was being fixed. The employees here were very courteous and professional. The 2014 Toyota Yarvis I got was nice inside and out and smelled that way also. I know the Yarvis might not seem like much but when your car is being worked on anything will do. I needed a car for July 18-22. I reserved one with Enterprise on Government because it was cheaper than the airport rentals and the location was convenient. Not being sure what time I would finish a doctor apt, I reserved it for 10 a.m. When I got there at noon they had given away my car. I was told they only hold it for a half hour which I didn't know. So I had to go to the airport for a car. I again reserved a car with Enterprise for August 30 at 3. I called about 1 to ask if I could get it at 2 and was told they didn't have a car for me and might not. So I asked if they could deliver it if one came in and was told they don't do that. (Their ads tout that they do!) So I got online with Expedia and found the best deal I could at the airport with Alamo. When I arrived at the airport, I discovered that Alamo is owned by Enterprise. It was slightly after 1:30 when I made the booking. I tried to make it for 2 but the web site wouldn't let me so I made it for 2:30. When I arrived about 2, I was quoted a price $43 higher than the online price because I was early. I had to sit and wait in order to get the stated price. I made the booking for a week, but ended up returning it after three days. I was charged for the entire week. I feel totally ripped off by Enterprise and will NEVER book with them again. read more
