I had a "body part" on my car come loose so I filed a claim with my insurance and they are contracted with Enterprise for rentals. I had an ongoing reservation upon approval of my insurance claim to get my car repaired; however, the reservation was sent to the nearest location to my home but the collision center the claim was sent to was closer to my work so the Enterprise rep moved my reservation to this location 1.5 miles away from the collision center. I was picked up shortly after my drop off appointment by a really nice employee. He was very personable and made small talk. When we arrived I dealt with whom I believe was the manager and he was very nice and efficient. I was then led to their lot of vehicles that I had my choice of (I always choose in state license plates to avoid any issues with law enforcement). I ended up selecting a 2024 Nissan Versa with 26k miles as I park on the street at home and didn't want anything too big to park. The car was in good condition with some wear and tear (no biggie). It was fairly clean but had film on the windows. It only had half a tank of gas and again, not an issue as I would return it with half a tank. As I went to work I noticed the car had a slight smoky odor in it but did not think much of it. By the time I left work in the afternoon, the odor of weed was very apparent so I went to the car wash and also vacuumed it. There was a stain on the console and part of the carpet which appeared to be something like ice cream so I cleaned it to the best of my ability. I also cleaned the windows to get that nasty film off and sprayed the entire interior with Lysol. I also used a small bottle of Bath and Body Works mist and sprayed the seats and all interior bits as well. When I left for work the next day most of the odor subsided; however, I took a step further and rolled the windows down and let it air out during my workday. This did the trick as I did not want to have to take it back and exchange for another rental. To sum up my experience, customer service was top notch, but the condition of their cars could be much better. I understand that this location is not in the greatest part of LB, but Enterprise could do much better in cleaning and maintaining their vehicles. read more

After returning the car to LBC Enterprise I accidentally left my wallet in the armrest. The young lady that scanned the car removed my wallet and my money. Then she placed my wallet in the lost and found. When I questioned everyone about my money they acted as if I was crazy. Lets just dive into it. I got into a car accident and needed a car for a while. They called me first, which I was shocked about, and sit up an appointment for me to come and get a car same day...with no hassle. I got there, and they were no super busy but they did have a customer who was on the phone with her lawyer and taking up all of their time. I'm like mmmm...hello lady, take the conversation over to the corner so other people can be served. Anyways, once she was done, I was next. I was presented with a car, it was nice from the outside to the inside. No problems. The next morning I went to get in the car... warning sign comes on...Tire Pressure. I'm like oh no, I have to call them because this unacceptable. They were polite about it and told me I could come and exchange the car at any time. 20 minutes later, ya girl was up there. Because let's not play. They were busy busy! Once it was my turn, I went to show an employee the car and she found a nail in one of the tires. She pointed out to me and then asked me was that there before I drive away or after. LADY don't play with me. Why would I take any car if I knew it had a nail it? I told her no and told her that she needed to put me in another car because I'm at work and I needed to get back, quick. She then went back inside and BOOM! I was given a new car. After, I had no trouble. It got me where I needed to be and back. Once it was time for me to pick up my car from the shop, I called and was told that they would take me to go and get my car. I went to enterprise to rent a larger vehicle big enough to accommodate 4 people & all the stuff needed for road trip/cabin stay. The young lady suggested a white 2022 Chrysler Pacifica "a mom van". I was definitely apprehensive but when I tell you it was definitely the best choice! Super nice on the inside & spacious! The process of renting it was painless took less than 1 hr. They washed & vacuumed it out. Decent price, $83.98 a day, 3 days $251.94, $283.85 after taxes; decent. I have my own insurance, so no charge for that. The following day the manager reached out, I thought that was great customer service. Went to drop off after my trip, I asked could they provide me with transportation to the Mercedes dealership in signal hill where my car was. The young lady told me to take it to the signal hill enterprise location instead for drop off because it was out of her drop off range. Understandable, good advise. Definitely recommend. read more

I had read their reviews and I was a little spectacle about taking our reservation here but I am glad I gave them a chance. Once I came in I was greeted by Jason and he told us that he was going to try to get us a car as soon as possible because they were low on cars. Jason, asked Sam to drive us to another location for pick up a minivan. Sam was very attentive. Couple days later we returned because we did not like the minivan and Jason was there again, and he was able to get us A much better car. Danni assisted with the exchange and she was so down to earth. She was listening to me vent, although I know she didn't have to but she was very sweet to me and my daughter. This trio was amazing ! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! Literally the worse enterprise I have used, bad customer service and the vehicles are filthy (the vehicle I paid $92 plus tax and insurance per day for looked like the previous renter had been bailing hay in it!!!! ). My reservation was for a Cadillac XTS (luxury class) and upon arrival I was told none available and or no sedans (period) available, then offered a supposed upgrade to a discovery (Range Rover) suv which is literally the smallest suv I've ever had the displeasure of riding in. ( If I wanted a suv I would've reserved an suv, not a sedan and the fact that they had none available of any class was crazy!!! ) Then asked about a larger Mercedes suv that was available in the lot and I was advised it would be $200 per day plus fees....INSANE, they wouldn't even try to accommodate me!!! They also marked that I picked up vehicle at 12.15 pm when I didn't leave the lot until 1.30 pm due to the uncleanliness of the discovery and trying to find a different vehicle... They acted like they were doing me a favor-Worse rental experience ever!!!! Avoid this place and use Bellflower Enterprise instead which is just down the street-I rented from them March 2019 and it was a much better experience. My car was hit and I was sent to this enterprise location to pick up my rental. From the moment I got off the phone with the insurance company, Tye, from enterprise was calling my phone confirming my reservation. She was extremely kind and helpful with all of my questions concerning my rental. When I arrived at Enterprise I was greeted by the Manager Jason. Although Jason was helping another customer, he found time to greet me and I truly appreciated that. Once he was done he made me aware of the shortage of vehicles and my options were limited based on what the insurance company offered. As we continued to talk I made him aware of the kind of car I owned and he advised to call the insurance company as they only approved my claim for a economy car when in fact the are legally bound to match my rental with something equivalent to my person vehicle. I called the insurance company and upped my rental amount. From the time I got off the phone Jason had secured me a premium rental from another location and confirm it was in transit to pick me up. The above and beyond customer service is a rare commodity now a days. Jason and his team did a spectacular job assisting me. They even dropped me off to pick up my vehicle when it was ready, which was outside of their drop off area. This was the most smoothest transition I've ever had. I rented a vehicle from April 7th through March 9. DEV the branch manager is the epitome of unprofessionalism. I was on hold for 20min out of the 25min that my call lasted. When she says "I will have the information ready for you" she really means "I won't know until you call back and remind me and I'll leave you on hold until I find out how to fix the issue". I was wrongfully charged $700 and I still had to call back and fight for my refund. How am I being charged for an extra day when all the branches are closed on Sunday. I attempted to explain it to Dev, but she was not listening. I was afraid she was going to leave me on hold again. Go to a different branch, Dev is clearly overworked and the branch is understaffed. They need to be more transparent with the charges. read more

You have to leave a deposit of 300..or more/less depending on car. You have to be on top of your rental and make sure to clarify prices. Refund of deposit is between 3-7 days. Good but, wouldn't do it again unless needed. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Rented a truck for our family's end of year camping trip. We ordered the full size "Ford" with no bells and whistles. Didn't order the GPS service or any of the extra add on charges they so generously offer, at our expense of course. So we get there first thing as they open get our truck. Which ended up being a Dodge, fine. We do the paperwork and everything is great so we go out to inspect the car. Perfect no damage. But DIRTY AF. The outside was dirty and the inside was worse. Dried food on the seat and nothing was wiped down. Ok, whatever we're going camping. It's gonna get worse. So as we're paying the guy helping us (my husband and myself) tell us it will be $418...which was a surprise cuz the reservation said $218 total. He explains its for deposit and will be refunded after return. Ok, fine. He takes MY debit card, runs it and then realizes it's in my name...but the reservation was in my husbands name with me listed as a driver. So he tells us he can't take that payment and needs to use my husbands debit card, same account. So basically this stupid dirty truck ended up costing us over 800 bucks to rent for the weekend. Yes, the first $400 was returned to us AFTER our trip, and thankfully we had money to cover us...but what if we didn't?! RIDICULOUS! That $400 bucks was going to be our spending money for the weekend. But we had to pull money from our savings, ok fine. No apology or anything from the guy who should have looked at the name before running the card. So we return the truck that Monday and I specifically asked for a 10:30 return time on my reservation and that jackass acted like he didn't hear me remind him that when he told me to have the truck back at 8. Sorry it was returned at 10:30. Then they refuse to give us our $200 deposit because they said we didn't return a tow hitch that never on the truck or used in the first place. We had nothing to tow! This place truly deserves their one star review. That's all their worth. Please find another spot to rent a car/truck from. read more

When you rent a car make sure they mark every single scratch on the car because if you do not, they will charge when you drop off the car. When I picked my rental I pointed to the couple of scratches on the door and rare bump Vennessa said no we do not put those on the agreement because they are minor scratches. She said we put just gas tank and milage, but when I dropped off the car she said that the scratches were not their. Spoke to the manager Angelo and he was not helpful at all and charge me $1000 for couple of scratches.
