Started with Maria @ the F desk. She helped as she could but there was a line forming so quickly called for Irene. Irene determined that the account names / passwords etc. did not synchronize. After several frustrating attempts: she said: only The Tech department can finish. Irene gave me The # to The Tech dept. Called a gal named Diamond @ Tech- customer service. Like the TV show " Tracker" She managed to Link new usernames and passwords to make it operational. Bravo AAA U "saved" the Day! Why important: we purchased an electric car and If you run low on juice" and there is NO public charging station that is free= U need to get loaded onto AAA truck I will sleep better tonight read more

Run the other way. Last year I had to pay $200/mofor a 2013 Toyota. This year they jacked it up to $400. So I'm paying the the same amount for car payment as insurance. 2 phone calls. Was told it was correct. They are frauds who will cheat you in the blink of an eye. Run the other way. Been with them 25 years. It ends this year. read more

If you're a AAA member and you haven't visited your AAA office, what are you waiting for! Today, I came in to renew one of my car registrations and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I'm definitely not missing the DMV lines. Not only can you get your registration, you can get discounted theme park tickets, car/life/home insurance, there's an on duty travel agent, and soo much more! If you not a member, I would highly recommend getting a membership, there are a lot of perks and discounts and you never know when you're going to need road side assistance! read more

We usually go to the Anaheim (Euclid) branch for our renewals, but since we were heading to Long Beach, we decided to stop by this location instead. We've been here before for a passport photo and the service was great, so I expected the same experience. This time, I had to renew my dad's car registration. I used their service last year at the Anaheim branch, and the wait there wasn't too long. When my dad's name was called, we were assisted by a rep named Harrison. Honestly, his approach felt too formal, almost like he was reading from a script, and it lacked the warmth or sincerity you'd hope for in customer service. We've been with AAA for over 30 years, and I've learned that the experience really depends on the rep helping you. Unfortunately, with Harrison, I didn't feel the usual accommodating service. For our next renewal, I'll probably just go back to the Anaheim branch. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had with AAA, really upset and disappointed. Marco Castro the sales agent quoted me, we signed the papers and purchased my premium for the whole year 5,900. I paid in full. Two days later he calls to tell me my premium will be canceled because I didn't qualify for a discount. He tried to blame it on me and was super unprofessional. Now I am left with less than 5 days to insurance shop, get quotes and get another premium because this sales agent was completely careless in adding a discount that I don't qualify and not making sure everything was correct. read more

I appreciate the signage outside from driveway guiding you to the front door. Check in with your membership card at the front register and wait for your name to be called by the department that handles your needs. Open Saturday for passport, various DMV issues: I was able to switch out my license plate, notary etc. check website for services. read more

I used the travel service to book my first cruise and trip to Alaska with Nancy Garcia. I highly recommend her for all your travel needs. She paid attention to details to make our trip run smoothly. Our Royal Princess Alaska Cruise was a success! Everything from our cabin to our excursions were top notch. I love the attention we received. This place is awesome. I go here to renew my registration all the time. Not only they'll give your tag as soon as possible, but the wait time is short. I came here last time after realizing that my registration was already week late after I forgot about it. Came here ten minutes before closing and came out within five minutes. It's that fast!!! They also have bottle waters and the staff members are friendly. Furthermore, parking is a breeze!!! read more

I've been a member for almost 20 years. Like most things these days, quality isn't what it used to be. I went to the branch to show my daughter how to navigate AAA and add her car to the policy. After waiting over 30 minutes in a virtually empty waiting area and watching other people coming in and getting called before me, I went to ask why. Apparently, they entered me wrong and they forgot us. Needless to say, they got me into a representative that seemed like she didn't want to be there and was not helpful. Fast forward 5 weeks. Something was off so I went to my AAA app and my insurance wasn't there! I looked for a hour before I called. Somehow, a day after my visit (5 weeks ago) they cancelled my policy because of something the representative did wrong. My whole family, including my new teenage driver, has been driving uninsured for weeks! Not cool. I will be going down there this week to speak with a supervisor or something to make sure they didn't screw anything else up and determine whether I want to keep them as my insurer. Scary. And to add on to another review, Harrison DOES seem like he is reading a script. Was not able to think outside of the box to answer my simple questions. I will be following up with somebody else to figure things out. Ugh. Frustrating. read more

I'm a triple A member because of their roadside assistance and their insurances; however, my main reason for coming to their office is for their convenient DMV services. Instead of lining up at the local DMV office for hours, I can be in and out in twenty minutes to take care of simple needs like car registration or title transfer changes. I think that, in response to peoples' gripes about customer service, they do make an effort to elevate the DMV experience. While sitting to wait to be called for my services, they offered water and fun sized candy. Don't really understand the one-star reviews here. I don't really expect to be pampered when I take care of car registration, so these small gestures and personal touches are appreciated. If the people who complain about 10-20 minute waits don't like it, then they should go wait 1-2 hours at their local DMV or they should take care of their needs online. I don't really take advantage of travel agents through AAA (nor do I expect to in the near future), but you can do that here as well. They don't offer travel guides/books like they did twenty years ago. Basically everything you'd want (like information about four and five diamond restaurants/resorts) is online. read more

I recently decided to shop for new insurance as our policy with Progresive was expiring and was not happy with their price per type of coverage or customer service! Although I was a long term member of AAA until 2020,I changed thinking I may save some money!Well big mistake,there is clearly nothing to be compared to AAA when it comes insurances! Went into the office, and was unable to get some help. The person helping me was great, but since we got stuck, I was waiting in the waiting area and was on the phone getting some assistance through the phone. A different staff member was rude. I left. I tried getting assistance over the phone the day before so I wouldn't have to go into the office, but had no choice but to go into the office. The rude staff member was an older lady with red hair. read more

I read a lot of mixed reviews for this location before I went. I personally had a great experience. It's close to the LB airport. Plenty of parking. I was getting a title transfer done and it all in all took me 15-20 minutes. I was helped really quickly after being checked in. I called back to this branch for some follow up questions and I was helped by a woman named Denise who was so friendly. She was very clear and patient with me even with their business coming close to closing hours. Great experience overall. I will be going back here for renewing my car registration soon ! read more

Today I got the surprise of my life , I was asked to meet up today at the AAA building in Long Beach at 12:30 next to the Airport. There is plenty of parking when I walked in the office I was greeted right away. I told them the matter they put my name in the Que less than 7 minutes my name was called and the matter was solved. I had other questions and business to take care of. I got done just as fast as the first person.While I was there they offered my water located in a fridge in the lobby they a very nice lady came by asked a few questions then came back with a blue cloth bag with specific information on the question I asked for. Later a worker ( Jessica ) can through the lobby and passed out candy. The staff are all eager to help and knowledgeable on all the different services the office has to offer, I will be returning to this location if I have more DMV related stuff. This AAA is located in a Industrial area with lots of free parking next to Long Beach Airport, it is huge, very open and bright. There was no line walk in and was taking care right away, at the check station there is a basket full of free AAA water. I have been a member of AAA for 29 yrs. they have been there for me and all of my vehicles registration needs, I also use AAA for all my cruise traveling nothing like having a free travel agent at your service, here are just a few privileges that they offer roadside services, emergency fuel delivery to you free, vehicle towing, battery, lockout, RV, motor home and vessels service,rental car, homeowners Insurance, safety education classes, discount tickets to major amusement parks, plus so much more. The classic membership is 7 miles to any location, the AAA plus membership is 100 miles to any location, and the AAA premier membership is 200 miles to any location, so the bottom line is why go to DMV long lines and staff that seems to wake up on the wrong side of the bed with attitude trying to assist you, AAA they're the best hands down. read more

Monique and Jennifer really helped me get my personalized plates squared away and did everything they could to make the transaction easy and quick. The ability to do motor vehicle services at this location is worth the membership 10 times over. Add to that, the towing and travel services and it's a no-brainer. My fiancé and I went to this office on a Saturday morning to get our passport pictures taken and to ask about uniting our car insurance. As soon as we stepped into the building, there was no line and walked right to the receptionist to get checked in. We told receptionist that we were there for passport photos and to talk to someone about car insurance. She said first take photos and then let them know you also want to speak to someone after. It literally took only 5 minutes to be seen by someone and then get our picture taken. After, we were seated on the other side of the office to be called for car insurance. It took about 10 min to be called. Kevin greeted us with a smile and asked how we can be helped. Kevin honestly made everything simple and effective. He gave us advice on how to go about uniting our car insurance and how much we were going to save. We loved his marvel collection he had in his office and talked about things we had in common. Kevin went above and beyond and he should be recognized for the professionalism he bestowed upon our visit. 5 star rating all around for this AAA office! Thank you! read more

AAA dispatched Sea Country Towing to tow my car. Greg from Sea Country arrived and damaged my wheel by getting too close to the left border of the bed. I knew the damage had just occurred because there were aluminum shavings hanging on the lip of the wheel. I asked Greg to help me with the insurance claim. He said ok. I contacted AAA and submitted all photos along with a detailed summary of the events. I worked with Andrea Black, of the Member Relations Group, who was completely useless. AAA denied the claim because they said I didn't have a video of the incident. What?!? How is this possible! I went back to Sea Country Towing and they told me they weren't responsible because Greg said he did not cause the damage, which I know he did (see photo). Sea Country was completely unprofessional. See their reviews for more detail. AAA won't accept your claim unless they have a video? This sounds absurd to me. So if someone rear ends me, and they say they are not at fault, AAA won't cover me if I don't have a video? If you have AAA insurance, I would think twice about using them for your insurance because they may not cover you unless you have you have a video of the incident/accident. Be careful... Also, when you call AAA for service, always ask WHO will be providing the service. If it's Sea Country Towing, DO NOT USE THEM. Ask for another company. Worst service, I asked for a Spanish speaker representative and they said they only had one person, the representative who attended to me was so rude and had the worst attitude. My husband talked over two weeks with two different representatives due to a wrongful calculation on aaa behalf and their attitude was that the system could not be changed to the right amount, they couldn't give a logical explanation about what happens and never tried to fix the issue. They will always lookout for the company interest not the customer. We had to escalate this to one manager, the representatives never provided a decent solution, they suggested we should wait 90 days to have an answer even when we only had two more installments left on our policy. After All this and having no explanation, we decided we're better going to another insurance compan. read more

*sighs* The reason we switched auto insurance to AAA (that is not cheap) is being that of the outstanding customer service.... Or so we thought. We came into the Long Beach branch/office recently and it was the most difficult transaction in the beginning. We were NOT greeted more like summoned by the most distasteful REP you could encounter. Her name is (MONIQUE) & I apologize if the spelling is incorrect. Her work ethic and representation was completely unprofessional, not only did she insult multiple people she would also not answer any of our questions and then rebuttals with snarky remarks as if we should know what the answer is. My child was with me during this visit and reached to grab a pamphlet when she then grabbed them all aggressively & tried fixing them. Overall there is no need for this type of behavior, we are not children and shouldn't act like or treat paying customers in this manner. You would think customers are the rude ones and the reps can keep their cool! What's next? Discrimination? First impressions are everything, this will only encourage us to not recommend any of our family or friends, or their family and friends to AAA..... read more

I've been a member of the AAA for over 24 years. My experience at this branch this past Saturday felt like I was a stranger walking in off the street. Met with Car Insurance Agent. Quotes me $240 per month and $563 down. Car is brand new and I have a clean driving record. My only disappointment was when I asked the insurance agent an explanation for the cost he simply said and iterated premiums are high and you have a brand new car... REALLY? Been a gold 10 years membership but my experience last night was just a nightmare! Called in at 4.04pm.for the tow truck and was told that my expecting times will be within 45-55 mins. Without any calls or text messages for the heads up on delay,finally the guy showed up at 8.44pm. with attitudes accusing me of using foul languages(who wouldn't be after been waited nearly 4.30 hrs.!! when your vehicle broke down??) and asked me to step on the break while the vehicle was already on the back of the tow truck????
