While we were initially given a vehicle that smelled of cigarette smoke, Assistant Branch Rental Manager Liam Nichols quickly attended to the matter and gave us a free upgrade. The staff were attentive and friendly. Grade A customer service! read more

I had been hit in an accident and through their insurance I needed a rental while repairs were being handled Over 4 months later and issues with their insurance -- EVERYONE at this location went above and beyond helping through each dilemma. From ending a rental with insurance only to renew another one that same day. Assistance with tire repair and willing to pick me up or drop me off where needed Thank You to their entire staff!!! read more

We've rented vehicles through Enterprise before but never used them for personal use actually. I needed a car for out of town travel and the vehicle I was provided was outstanding. The booking process was easy online too and not really any Hassle at all. My only complaint was that the vehicle smelt like really smelly wet dogs and spent a good time getting the smell out. Staff here was okay but the atmosphere inside felt the equivalent to going to the DMV. The location isn't bad but the hotel behind it is a subject to many issues. The car did it's job with no issues as well as returning it so I'm generally satisfied with my experience with Enterprise. read more

I rented a car for the holidays through Enterprise at this location. My experience was exceptional from start to finish!

Rented a car and left my garage door opener in it. This amazing Aasha helped me get it back. They had rented the car shortly after I returned it. She went out of her way to contact the customer that rented it and got it back. read more

Questionable business practices. They never informed me that State Farm, which is a whole other issue, was covering a certain amount. They refused to give my deposit back and even lied to me twice. They told me they refunded it. Use someone else! If I could give them zero stars I would. read more

Hey everyone so I did an online reservation since I'm coming from California when my Uber dropped me off. I still waited about 15min to get help. Once some help Kayla said with out a credit card. They cannot rent a vehicle read more

I still to this day have yet to receive my deposit, garbage company and workers full of nothing but scammers. The car has been returned for over a month and everytime I call in they put me on hold till they either hang up in me or wait for me to hang up. read more

Late in the evening of Christmas Eve we made an online reservation for a car from Enterprise, because they were the only rental place in the area with any inventory. While their prices are higher than others in the area, their service was top notch. John was great. He made sure the car was clean. He noticed that the backseat and trunk needed vacuuming and had it done right away. He also sent a hiker to get the gas tank topped off, which was very thoughtful and saved us a stop. All in all, a very nice experience. read more

My husband rented a car the day before in this location which was supposed to be a Toyota Camry and when he went to get the car the next day in the morning they told him the car he rented it wasn't ready they didn't clean it. . The employee told him to get a Chevy Camaro . Car was very uncomfortable and not enough room leg for 4 passengers and almost 3 hour trip. Car was not properly cleaned While driving the light on dash came on for low oil we had to go to nearest gas station to apply a quart of oil . read more

I have been working with the Public for many years. When you have to rent a car it is usually because of the need for one from an accident that you were involved in. I must say that the last TWO times I had to get a car from the Joliet Illinois location on Jefferson Street Alexa Pace provided what I call an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME EXPERIENCE... Hey it may be "just renting a car" but her ATTITUDE WAS UPBEAT AND POSITIVE. She was always listening and attentive very precise and specific This was the second interaction I had with her.. Great Job Alexa Pace!! I would promote her to a Manager if she isn't on pace to be one already.. Kurt Holzinger 312-469-0543 read more

I went in here with a reservation, when I got there all that they had left were one truck and minivans. Which was not part of my reservation. I was appalled at how disgusting the vehicle was that they tried to rent to me. dirt everywhere spilled soda dog hair ashes from someone smoking inside the vehicle... Absolutely disgusting... I ended up walking out of there without a vehicle . But yet they charged me $250 and when I tried to call to get the money back I get hung up on . I cannot believe the lack of professionalism from Enterprise and their customer service center as well. I just want my money back from a car I did not rent ... the manager of this location told me I would have my refund back the same day which was a complete lie. read more

My car broke down on a Saturday night, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this Enterprise location was open on a Sunday. I made a reservation for a car online, overnight Saturday and it was ready & waiting for me on Sunday morning. I have only been to the Joliet location once or twice, and was not impressed with the service previously. They obviously have changed and enhanced the customer service experience greatly with new staff. Very personable with conversation and the manager (possibly) was very helpful with information about Enterprise (weekend deals, pick up improvements) that I never knew about. This is not the closest Enterprise to my home, but I would go back just because of the customer service and prompt reply. They even called me the following day to see how the car was working out for me. Thank you, and keep up the great work Enterprise team! read more

Jim is the best!!! He worked hard to get us the best car possible and the whole staff is always friendly. He also helped us with getting a good price! We will come back!!!! read more

Very unreliable place. I had confirmation that someone was supposed to pick me up to give me a ride to the rental place at 5pm and no one showed up at all. Place closes at 6pm, as most car rental places do. No one called me back to alert me of any issues. Now I am stranded, have no way to get to work and all rental places are closed. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I called the supervisor at the main number and he was unable to get hold of anyone at the place. What a joke. Would never use them. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I reamed a car on Thursday, they said it was the last one available so I could take it or leave it. When I got in the vehicle the low tire pressure light was on. I was told to just drive it and swap it out the next day when another car would be available. For the past 3 days I have been told that no cars are available and to just call roadside assistance if the tire goes completely flat. Now I've been at the rental store for over an hour, I'm told that if there is a car left at the end of the day when they close I can swap out the defective car. If they don't have one then I am to come back at the end of the day tomorrow and hope things go better. REALLY? read more

Extraordinarily rude employees except for one well-mannered young blonde lady. They also like to tack on whatever they can in terms of fees and additional warranties and don't explain the full repercussions of them unless you know very specifically what you're signing up for. If you call, you're likely to get hung up on. Unless they can suck money out of you they want nothing to do with you. I wouldn't be surprised if they made commission based on sales. I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone. Go somewhere else. read more

Enterprise has DOUBLE CHARGED me by a LARGE amount of money. I was told I would receive some money back at the end once the vehicle was returned.. we have yet to find out about that. My experience with them was horrible. They are Liars!!! I don't know how a company lie that is still yo & running. A dealership has even stopped using them bc they would charge the customers DOUBLE!! But they say otherwise! I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE! And I obviously won't be coming back either. read more

They are two faced I rented a car for the month they owed me money back didn't give it back and they took an additional $150 out of my account I went to the location on Jefferson where I rented from to get a copy of the information they told me they couldn't print that info out very bad for business now I have to fight with my bank and enterprise to get my money back this is a very big inconvenience will not recommend this location to anyone read more

Had a 7:30am reservation and arrived at 7:30am, car wasn't ready when I arrived, while driving the windshield wipers were loose and causing poor visibility, contacted the associate and he suggested I take the car to Firestone, like that's something I want to do, take a rental car to Firestone, then he asked if I could bring the car back and he assured me it would be a quick switch, NOT TRUE, car wasn't ready AGAIN when arrived, then the guy brings me a car that was filthy and smelled like Lysol (the brown kind), he then showed me two other cars that were filthy and smelled, and I should add I rented a truck in March and had similar issue with the vehicle not being clean and to add to my fustratraion one of the associates blocked my car, and I had to wait another 10 minutes. I cancelled the rental and was told the $250 hold would be clear in an hour, NOT TRUE! Missed my husband's birthday breakfast with family Manager never apologized or cared, worst service JUST GO TO HERTZ! Better cars and Service read more

Brooke, a supervisor there, was by far the rudest, least helpful person I have ever dealt with. A car was arranged for pickup after closing, at 730pm, and the employee that was supposed to stay, left early, leaving me without a car. Brook neither apologized nor offered any help, but instead when I called the following moring, after having to take a cab back to the hotel the night before, she had rented the car I was unable to pick up due to an Enterprise mistake, to another customer, leaving me car-less in the armpit of the earth that is Joliet, IL. Hertz down the road was a much more pleasant experience. I highly suggest that you do all possible to avoid this Enterprise, and in particular, that idiot Brooke. read more
