    Missed my flight and had a very long day of traveling. I didn't have the opportunity to call Enterprise and inform them so I was a little worried they wouldn't have a car available when I arrived at almost 10pm. I was very relieved when they still had a car for me and also had options. In the past at other locations this has not been the case. After checking out at the desk I walked over to the garage and was greeted by David. He helped me find a car that would fit my needs and was really friendly in the process. I was on the road after only a couple of minutes and the car was in perfect condition. I will be sure to use Enterprise again on my next visit. Thank you David!

    Left with NO CAR despite a reservation! Showed up at the end of the day to pick up the car. Had a reservation done days in advance with a payment method locked in, I was fully checked in online 2 days ahead of time. I even called the branch ahead of time to make sure they are aware that my flight was coming around midnight and it will be a late pick up, I was assured that was fine since they stay open till 2am. When I got there, first there was no associate on site (picture attached). Then I was informed they run out of cars due to overbooking. Me and about 30 other people with reservations were left with NO CARS at 2am at night. I don't know how else one can ensure a booking with you, Enterprise? That's the whole point of a RESERVATION. It's to reserve something.

    Got a great car. Pick up and drop off were both pretty easy. Online reservations using credit points was very easy.

    Went pretty smoothly both on pick up and drop off. Helpfully provided good-sized booster seats for children, which we forgot to pack.

But what I experienced was completely unacceptable…read more I had my breathing machine locked in my rental car--something I rely on to breathe and function--and there was absolutely no one available to help me access it. I was essentially left without a medically necessary device because your company had no system in place for emergencies. It is beyond unreasonable to expect someone to wait until 8:00 in the morning to access something they need to survive. This isn't about convenience--this is about basic human safety. I cannot understand why security does not have access to a key or any way to open the lockbox in a situation like this. That is a serious failure on your part. When a company deals with customers traveling at all hours, there should always be an emergency solution in place. While I will acknowledge that the staff I interacted with when I picked up my rental were friendly, that does not make up for the fact that I was left without access to something I need to breathe. Because of this, I would not recommend this company to anyone. It is alarming that every other rental company in the terminal had someone available to assist, yet your company did not. No customer should ever be put in a position where their health is at risk due to a lack of basic support. Now before anyone says well you left it. Yes I did and like my first paragraph says people make mistakes.

Just before arriving at the airport, got my confirmation that the car was ready for pick up. After landing, I skipped the Avis counter in the airport and walked straight to the car. The counter looked slick though. There were few customers and an associate helping them out. In the pick up area, all the spots were marked properly. I found my car in the designated spot. It was a new VW Atlas with 10K mileage. The car had fully cleaned exterior and interior. But it showed the oil change due warning. We had the car for 4 days. We drove around a lot, taking it all the way to Louisville, KY and back to Indianapolis. We had no issues with the car. All the functionality worked fine in the car. Upon bringing the car back for return, an associate processed the drop off as soon as I parked. That was the fastest return processing I ever had. Overall it was another excellent rental experience with Avis.

The customer service people that you are transferred to do not tell you the truth. They just make up things to get you off the phone. I left my air tag on the rental car keys. I was trying to contact the rental location to see if they would take the air tag off so I could pick it up. The location on the tag showed the airport. Then the air tag moved to Carmel last night. This morning it was back at the airport. I made arrangements to go to the airport to see if I could retrieve it. An hour later when I was on the way to pick up the tag the location moved. So we followed the directions to find where it was. We arrived at the location and the rental car was not there but the air tag still showed it was at the location which was an apartment complex. If Avis would have been available to talk to I would not be out $40 for the air tag. I took a snapshot of the locations so maybe they can figure out who has the tag if they are employed and Avis. Will not be using this company again. I feel like I should be reimbursed for the tag because I contacted them within an hour of the car return and it was still at the airport. If they had answered the phone I would've have had this problem.

I pre-purchased when booking, but the person went through the usual song and dance (offering insurance, how I want to return the gas tank, etc.). Standard stuff really. They didn't have the level of car I booked so they upgraded me. Once the paperwork was done they instructed me to head out to the stall and get in the car. Just a really streamlined and easy experience. The vehicle was nice and I was excited to get on the road. The exiting process was standard and easy as well. This airport had easy to follow signs on the return. I cleaned up what I could and got my stuff and left the car along with the keys in the return area. Smooth sailing!

    Unhelpful customer service, no way to reach local office. No matter what number you call it gets…read morererouted to the national office. They tell you that they might just be experiencing a high volume of calls and to just keep calling them. The national office also will not help you if you made your booking through a third-party. They claim that they can't even put notes on the reservation, but they also claim that they can't see a flight added or any information that was added when we made the reservation initially. They need to fix their issues with third-party companies and either make it to where they can actually see what people are putting in with those outside reservations or be able to still modify them internally, regardless of how they were made. They basically told us since our flight was delayed past closing "make other arrangements instead" and to just show up a see if someone waited for us and maybe realized we were delayed. For context this has happened before, I had booked with Avis, added my flight when initially booked, called customer service to let them know that it was going to be delayed, and they stated that they added the flight as well. It was apparently not added and I was told that missing my rental pick up was my fault because I did not add the flight number and I did not get a refund. Recommend trying other rental companies at this airport, we gave them a second chance and it's somehow worse the second time. Hope we can get a refund this time if we aren't able to get our car.
