I rent a car for business travel a couple times a month from this location and have always had a great experience with them. I was recently rear ended and my SUV will be going in for repair this coming Monday. The insurance will only cover a small SUV and I have a big family. I called them up and explained that I would need a bigger SUV and that I would pay the difference. They got me all set up and will have the vehicle transferred over Monday for pickup. They made a stressful situation (auto accident and repair) less stressful and have provided great customer service. All that being said, I wanted to take the time to write a review of my experience with this location and their team. I read the other reviews and the only thing I can relate to or have seen for that matter is the receiving a car that didn't have a full tank of gas. Yes I've experienced this a few times as well, but knowing it's a possibility means I'm just ready to deal with it because I prefer to rent from this location. As for other reviews, I've never seen or experienced anyone being rude or unprofessional here... doesn't mean it hasn't happened, just not something I can attest to. Lastly, I started using this location after first dealing with them following an auto accident back in 2016 (neighbor hit my parked car) and was very impressed with their service, so decided to rent all my local rentals from here. I could not rent from this place because the manager was out to lunch and he was the only person who could set up a direct billing account with my car warranty company. I then called another location on Katy Freeway and they were able to set up the account and pick me up immediately. I would suggest that all the workers be trained on setting up corporate accounts so that customers are not unnecessarily inconvenienced. read more

The car rental experience was so-so. I got a car rental because my car insurance company recommended them and they were preferred over Hertz. I never get the additional car insurance that they offer to their customers on rental cars. Except this time and boy I was oversold on this. The assistant manager, Aaron, put a big doubt in my mind that my insurance company doesn't cover some parts of the car if the rental car were damaged. I originally did get it and as I was driving out of the parking lot, my subconscious kept going back and forth, remembering what the young gentleman had said. So I went back to the car rental office, and signed up on for the insurance and Aaron told me, I can easily just call in and cancel the insurance anytime, "but just try it." He gave bizarre scenarios about the occurrences that he's witnessed where cars were accidentally driven into the bayou in Houston, and how if that were to happen, I could just easily walk away from the damage if I paid the insurance with him. No deductible, just because I paid the additional damage waiver, and he convinced me that because he was giving me a brand new vehicle, that he would highly suggest it. They said it was normally $34.99 a day but because I was special Farmers' customer, it would be half off. I guess you could say, he was slick salesman. After I drove away, I called my insurance agent, and asked them if they covered my rental car vehicle and they said they did. And also my insurance agent mentioned that, the "waivers" are often no better than the coverage I already have with my favorite credit card (Amex). A few things I learned: 1) Depending on where you rent, the rental company's liability for injury or property damage may be anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000 if you were to have an accident or injury while in the vehicle. And the credit card insurance steps in covering the rest - as secondary insurance. 2) The few reasons car-rental customers may want to purchase full coverage from the car-rental company is to avoid the hassle of making a claim or reporting an accident to their primary insurer and the credit card issuer. 3) If you have your rental car more than 3-4 weeks, the rental car insurance may be the same as your deductible. 4) Don't let Enterprise or any car rental company pressure, regardless of what ludicrous tales they tell you about their customer experiences (as some of it may be made up). So the experience of renting the car itself was mediocre, in that I was sold a policy that was nearly worthless for about close to $20 a day. The car was clean, but had some sort of smoke/weed smell in it - though it was nonsmoking. And the key fob they gave me was broken, so I had some trouble getting in and starting the car. Check the gas policy, I filled up the car with gas and had a receipt with me because the tank was only 3/4 full, they tried to charge me the 1/4 missing as if I checked it out with a full gas tank (which was not the case). read more

This place has to be the worst enterprise I have ever been too. I dropped off the rental a week ago from today and I walk in and Im not greeted whatsoever there is two guys sitting down talking and then after a couple minutes they want to ask me what can I can get helped with. So that happens left the rental. Today I call in because I forgot my insurance in there yes a week after the worst thing I've done. I call them asking if they seen my insurance and then the guy that who answered the phone asked for name and phone number and there was no information in the system according to him. I told him my information too since there was too people , he said " Ma'am you need to give me the right information I cant be doing this" first of all this your job right? Sweetie I did not wake up next to you this morning so dont catch no attitude. I was only giving him two name and two cellphone numbers , it hurt him so much to do that. I'd give this particular location a higher rating except for some minor problems: 1) The rental vehicle was delivered to me with just about a quarter tank of gasoline. The agent did tell me I was expected to return it with roughly the same amount, but c'mon, folks--fill it up before you turn it over to a renter. 2) The car looked as though it hadn't been even rinsed off, much less washed, in a couple of weeks. (I could barely see out the front windshield.) 3) There was no indoctrination of how to do even the simplest of things with the car. I had to ask how to adjust the outside mirrors and got only a partial explanation. No explanation of how to move the driver's seat forward/backward, adjust headlamps, etc. When you're used to driving one type vehicle, you really need a quick lesson in how to do the simple things on another make. 4) I didn't have my reading glasses with me, and didn't realize I was purchasing their insurance, when I've already got the same coverage with my own auto coverage. We got this straightened out when I returned the car without any problem. The positives: staff was very courteous; paperwork was ready when they picked me up from Lexus body shop (about 300 yards away); the rep called me the day after I picked up the car to check to make sure everything was okay. Would I rent from them again? Yep, but I'd make sure I got more of an explanation of how the vehicle worked before I took off, and I'd have them clean off the windshield. read more

Poor customer service at this location! I made a reservation and they called me 2 minutes prior to me picking up the vehicle, stating that it will not be available to me. Then tried to offer me a vehicle that would not be suitable for my vacation. I spoke with the "Area Manager" and he was not willing to offer transportation to another location to pick up the vehicle that I needed. I will not reserve with them ever again. read more

I will not even give them the respect of one star the manager here is disrespectful,and what they did to me was so wrong that I have actually had bad dreams I have been renting from enterprise for a very long time and my most recent rental I was 93$ short so the manager said that would be ok and he even said for me to bring cash amount of 400$ I didn't think anything about it and I went up there took the 400$ and was under the impression that I was going to be able to continue my rental well this man told me when I got there to hold on one moment got his cell phone and walked outside was on his phone and left me standing at the counter by myself and came back and said you can't rent the car and so I was extremely upset and stranded now didn't know what to do I had no one to pick me up I am disabled with heart problems and this manager and one of his employees I swear I saw them laughing and they were closing and that manager drove in front of me put on his sunglasses and drove off I was still standing there outside this was such a horrible nightmare of a situation I cried so much it made my head hurt and it also elevated my blood pressure.I strongly advise anyone do not go to this location they do not care about their customers. read more

I have been to this location a few times now and rented several vehicles from them. I went to pick up my reservation and the person that helped me said that you couldn't use 'pre-paid cards' such as venmo, cash app, etc. They have to be debit mastercards or visa cards (although these are considered 'visa debit cards'). I have used this card a couple of times before at this location and there has been absolutely no problem but this individual insisted he was not allowed to take my card. One star. I'm a traveler from Canada, I arrived at the Omni hotel in Houston on Tuesday and on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:46am, I rented a Chevy trax just for a day. The person I rented from was Tyrone and I asked what my options were with regards to dropping the vehicle since I would be catching a flight the next day at about 7:45 am. Tyrone gave me an option of dropping it at the airport, dropping it on the same day before they close, leaving the keys at the front desk of the Omni hotel as Enterprise was in some agreement with Omni with regards to Key drop. As that was the obvious option, I told him( Tyrone), I will definitely be dropping the keys with Omni hotel Front Desk. I did exactly what was agreed upon and called, even though it was after hours, I called enterprise, dialed option 4 at the prompt, was connected to the Local Enterprise and dropped a voice message. I again called on Friday, May 5th 2017 and asked to speak with Tyrone but he was unavailable so I spoke to someone else and indicated that I had left the keys at Omni hotel Front desk and dropped a Voice message earlier. The person told me good i called to let them know and not to worry and also indicated he would type up a note on my file and they would get to it by Monday as they wouldn't be open during the weekend. I was indeed assured that I had played my part. On Tuesday, May 9th,2017 I got an alert that i had been charged $313.19, I was in shock as my initial summary was/is meant to be $94.74. I called, but enterprise was closed by the time I got the alert. I called again the next day, Wednesday May 10th, 2017, and was assured I'd get a call back in 15 to 20mins and but I never did, and each time I waited between 1hr to 1hr20mins before calling this was done at least 3 times. On the 4th time, I spoke with the Branch manager Aaron and he tried to negotiate with me after much back and forth in essence telling me he was only doing me a favor and that the bill had risen to $663.19 and he would reduce it to about $284.22 that is, 3 days of rental when I actually had that car for a day. Their reasoning was that they were told by Omni that they had no keys from me all through the time they started to check from Monday to Wednesday when they eventually claim they found it. I refuse to take responsibility for the mistakes, laziness or whatever you want to call it. I would like for this to be rectified immediately and also ask why was $313.19 taken from my card if they actually had not closed the file at all on tuesday, what is the explanation for this? Is this a matter of bad/poor management and is someone trying to cover up for their mistakes. Regardless, I cant be responsible for 3 days especially when i only had the car for 1 day. Aaron, who claims to be the manager at this location, Mossy Nisssan on the Katy Freeway, is very demeaning and rude to customers. Right when I called to find out why they illegally took money from my account he was rude and acted put out. Kept insisting that my bank should have a record of which of their locations took my money then in the same sentence told me he did it. Would not give me a number to reach the corporate office, he told me to call his number back and get to it that way. Guess what.....there is no option for the corporate office. They wrote down my wrong email address so I never received a copy of my contract, which I was not given at rental. They did not explain anything about their charges. I even paid them $300 for insurance. They debited my account for extra money that he did not have permission to do. He told me I should have asked for a copy of my contract, just hours after I was in a major car accident. He called me a liar and was condescending and talking over me the entire conversation.
