Extremely disappointing experience with Enterprise at the Cincinnati airport this morning. The agent at the counter was rude and dismissive to my elderly parents, who were simply trying to pick up a vehicle. What made the situation even worse was that the agent insisted there were no cars available, which turned out to be untrue. Being treated poorly is bad enough. Being treated poorly while being given misleading information is completely unacceptable. Customer service should be built on professionalism, honesty, and respect, especially when dealing with elderly customers. Unfortunately, this location failed on all three. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Enterprise and will think twice before using them again. read more

World's worst rental car agency and location - was given the wrong car (reserved a truck and went 4 floors up to find a sedan). After going all the way back to the desk- they tell me to go back upstairs where I was told it was my fault!!. When i showed them the email confirmation, the manager walked off...the situation finally remedied AFTER 45 MINUTES...NEVER CHOSE THEIR SERVICES!!! read more

We reserved online with no issues. Arrived at the main desk in the airport by a helpful agent who checked us in. It was before 9 am and there was no line. Agent directed us up to the parking level to pick up our vehicle. A super helpful agent met us upstairs and directed us to our specific vehicle, discussed the pros and cons of alternative vehicles, and showed us the features of our originally reserved option. He even assisted in lowering the back seats. We signed out and left with no issues. The vehicle, a mini van, was new, clean, and worked great and was the perfect size and layout for our purposes. read more

The fact that this Enterprise has the worst team to work with here and they are still employed is beyond crazy. although we might have political Toughts as a representative of Enterprise that ego should be put away. I am a person of color and I got very offended and the we this white folks treated me . rented a car thru them this car has to have an issue and request an exchange and they denied me to put me and my family In another car because it isn't available. Their just standing around giggling not helping .Yet everyone that has passed by chooses a car like Nothing and they just started their service . it would be understandable if it's something already pre booked . other than that a very poorly team . read more

Terrible experience. The car battery was dead on both days, had to go through enterprise both days to get roadside assistance. The first day to get a jump, the second day to have it towed back to the airport. I could not get enterprise to help with a replacement, and, of course, it is impossible to get through to the office at CVG airport to talk to someone. Do not use CVG airport enterprise car rental -- it was awful, and the customer service was even worse. read more

The team here was great with their customer service and support while I was traveling with my kids, on a long (14 hour) car road trip from Texas to Ohio. I had experienced car issues near this enterprise, and called my local Dallas branch to get some advise, as I didn't know what to do. The Dallas Branch was able to get in contact with this one and they were able to help me get moved into a different car and made it really easy and stress-free for me, so I could get back on the road with my kids and finish our fun road trip. The team here, especially Austin, was really helpful. Thank you everyone! read more

The Cincinnati Airport (CVG) Enterprise location is the worst I have ever experienced. There is no customer service. The desk area is filthy. The one guy who I talked to was terrible and did not care whether he did a good job or not. Worst of all, the car they gave me was DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!! I have always liked Enterprise but, after this experience, I think I will try another rental company! read more

We didn't end up making travel plans before we arrived here in beautiful Cincinnati. I am an avid car renter for every trip I take. I always use my work discount and never have any issues. I paid and reserved a car 3 months in advance. I even read the fine print, as best I could, and the deposit information. When I went to pick up the car I paid to rent I was told I would need a $400 deposit! Excuse me? I already paid for the car. I called the 1800 number before I even made vacation plans to avoid this situation. The agent told me I wouldn't have a deposit. Cool. Fast forward to today. I arrive and wait my turn. When I arrive the lady makes small talk which is fine and continues to ask me for my payment. I informed her it was paid for. She said she needed a deposit. I've never paid one before so this was new information. She said Everyone pays a deposit of $400. I even read them word for word the information on the website and was basically called an idiot. I have rented from them before and didn't pay $400. Be ready to pay a ton of money upfront. They also refused to help me because I had a debit card not a credit card. I don't get the car I rented and paid for. He said call for a refund and that was that. read more

From the minute we decided to choose Enterprise the representative answered all our questions and even though we called back several times they were more than happy to help us. If I could give zero stars I would. We got a flat in our rental at 6:10 pm. Thought we could change the tire and be on our way. Nope. No spare. Called roadside "assistance" which was no help at all because they said "call 911" and hung up on us. As we are stranded on an interstate. 3 adults and 3 teenagers. Called back told us they would get a tow truck but we would have to Uber home on our dime. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Tow truck said they would be there in 2 hours. Called back and was sent to roadside assistance again. Same thing - call 911 and then hung up. One of the other adults called and finally got someone somewhat helpful. Got us a tow truck that would come in 45 minutes. And an Uber to take one of us to the nearest airport to get a replacement. Tow guy dropped us and our luggage off at an unsafe truck stop. Person trying to get a replacement was told the process was typically about 6 hours. Got the run around there. Finally had to call someone hours away to come get us and our other person was going to take an Uber home. He finally got a replacement while we were on the way home. At our expense NOT Enterprises. Do NOT use them!!! And do not reply to this with a customer service chat or phone number. Obviously we have called that an as you can see it was unhelpful. read more

We used them for our wedding at the end of August and was disappointed. The driver was great and we felt sorry for her because the limo that was sent for us to use the air conditioning had gone out. My bridesmaids and I and them myself and my husband had to ride without air conditioning. We could only get one window to go down but of course when you have your hair done for your wedding you don't want wind blown hair!! We received an email afterwards asking for us to complete a survey but the survey sight didn't work. We emailed them regarding what happened and have gotten no response. My husband also noted that it sounded like the exhaust system in the limo was gone as the car made a lot of noise. Overall a disappointing experience. read more

This team and Tristian just saved so much anxiety for our family. We flew from Texas to spend the holidays with my in-laws and our 6:00 am return flight got canceled in the middle of the night. We learned we weren't going to be able to get a flight until two days later at the earliest. We needed to get back for personal health reasons and it couldn't wait. Tristian was able to change our reservation to a one way rental and discount our one way fee TREMENDOUSLY to help us out. Truly a nice belated Christmas present and gift. We always use Enterprise when we visit, but now especially we will forever come back to this team at CVG. read more

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Intl. Airport. Not a bad rental, but the car I got smelled like smoke, which stunk up my clothes every time I was in it. I'm a non-smoker, so yeah...that's an issue with me. One other issue: The Altima they gave me had expired tags and inspection from West Virginia. I was pulled over in Cincinnati for this, and that left me a little steamed. Once I told the officer it was a rental, he let me go. Not cool. Whatever. It's just typical of far too many places in the service industry in this country today. Guess we just need to embrace sub-par at best anymore. read more

my flight was delayed and then luggage was delayed over an hour. Enterprise said I had to hurry and take the car before they close for the night. when I got in the car the window was down, and I smelled weed. after I excited I shut the window and realized the car reeks of weed. now I'm stuck, because it's 2am and the rental counter is closed. thank you so much for renting me a nasty car. read more

The Covid approach to car rental was straightforward and quick. I didn't realize until we pulled out that we had not discussed gas (am I going to bring it back full or let them fill it and charge me). I always bring it back full, so that's what I did, however it felt like a miss. It should have been discussed when signing the paperwork. I have traveled extensively for work, so I know the drill. I assume not everyone does. Also, the rental paperwork is needed to get out of the car rental area. Nobody explained this upfront, so our paperwork was in the trunk, which did the person letting us out no good. Thankfully she had a workaround that did not require us to get out of the car to retrieve the paperwork. Again, simply mentioning this requirement when checking in at Enterprise would have made exiting much quicker. The car was great. The return process was simple. read more

I was highly disappointed with the customer service I received not only at the CVG location but also at the customer care line. I do not recommend renting a car from AVIS or Budget(which is the same company) 1) The initial pickup at the CVG location was terrible. I reserved a mid-size car, and (Gary) the person at the Avis desk, not only ignored my request but did not bother to review my reservation and provided me with a truck. 2) The truck received smelled of weed and was filthy on the inside. 3) when I extended my rental, I was promised a discount on the extension, but I was charged over 561.51 dollars. (Unexplained). When I called the customer care line, I was told this was a "me issue" and that I could end the agreement by returning the vehicle. The customer care personnel also provided a fake name. 4) I was then charged 60 dollars and then received another charge for 149.98 (not authorized or explained as to what the charges are for) 5) upon returning the vehicle, it was raining outside, and there was some mud on the floorboard. I was told I'd be charged an additional 150.00 cleaning fee. Worst experience ever with extremely poor follow-through. I would advise against going to Avis or budget. read more

Jackson Brown was amazing and so was Dominique at the service desk. Super helpful and gave great recommendations of places to see. I had a very uncomfortable situation with the branch manager at the Cincinnati airport location earlier this week. He said his name was Dion, but he was not acting like a branch manager. Has anyone else had a negative experience with him? He was insulting, condescending and did not listen. He kept interrupting me when I tried to talk. He told me I didn't understand how things worked. Worst of all he stood up from his desk near the end of our conversation to tower over and intimidate me. Terribly inappropriate and unprofessional. So I walked away to remove myself from the situation. I have called customer service. They told me someone will call me back. No one has called yet. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - The line is literally out of the door. - Car Rental Near Me - Hebron, Kentucky

I've rented cars at well over 100 different rental car locations, and I'm rarely pleased. This Enterprise (in Hebron, Kentucky) is clearly superior to most other locations. This business currently has 42 reviews with an average rating of four stars, which is unusually high for a rental car business. Most of the rental car locations I have been to provide good, but unmemorable service. This location actually surprised me with their exceptionally good service. My journey here started because I was coming into the Cincinnati area on business, and my employer randomly selected the cheapest rental car company nearby the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport, or CVG. After flying into CVG, I didn't have to wait too long until the Enterprise shuttle bus picked me up. The driver was friendly and professional, and was nice enough to help me with my bags. After arriving at this Enterprise, I was greeted by Sydney. She was also very friendly and professional, and asked me how my flight was and about my travel plans while I was in the area. Questions like these can seem routine, but I could tell that she was sincere and was genuinely interested in my well-being. After a pleasant discussion, and obtaining all the necessary data, she said she was giving me an upgrade to make my stay in the area more enjoyable. Sydney was amazingly kind, and this gesture did in fact help to make my experience in the area more pleasant. When I get a rental car, my expectations are usually pretty low from so many mediocre or even terrible experiences. I know I'll usually be stuck in some crappy little economy car that's barely a step up from a Yugo or a Geo Metro (if you remember those junky cars). Sydney gave me a really nice upgrade - a new Toyota Camry 4-door LE. The car was really smooth and pleasant to drive during my long stay in the Cincinnati area. After my business was conducted, I returned the car to Enterprise and took the shuttle bus back to CVG. The check-in process was smooth and the shuttle driver was, once again, friendly and helpful. Upon final review of all the charges, I was also pleased to see that my final rental car charge matched my predicted/quoted cost. If you're flying into CVG, I would definitely suggest you rent your car from this Enterprise. They have a friendly and professional staff, and they know how to operate a successful business. read more

As the days continue to pass, I have still yet to be contacted by Enterprise. The response I get from their customer service makes it seem upper/regional management only contacts customers when they feel like it, as if that isn't the sole purpose of their existence. See below. Again, rent from anywhere else you possibly can and save yourself the hassle. "The upper management team has been made aware of your request to be contacted. Please allow them up to 5 business days to contact you. If you do not hear from someone within 5 business days then please assume that you will not be receiving a refund for the taxi service. Thank you for contacting Enterprise. Kind regards, Jonathan Enterprise Customer Service" read more

READ THE FINE PRINT on your rental agreement. If you pay on the app, you have not paid for the rental. The "skip the line" is anything but. You'll need the credit card on your reservation IN YOUR HAND. Without all the same stuff you need at the counter you will not get a car. Be warned. read more

Got the shuttle right from the airport in perfect timing. Was there in 2 mins. Walked in the door with several people at the same time, just KNEW I was going to have to wait. But nope, Max helped me out TREMENDOUSLY, gave me the nod & right away he had my reservation looked up & ready to go. Got a Great upgrade to a Tahoe (yes, that things a tank) and was literally in the bldg for under 4 mins. He went above & beyond and was a great help, gave me some pointers as I have never been here. After a long flight, we arrived to CVG airport and headed to retrieve our rental. We utilized the self service checkout and was greeted by Mr. Sidney. I don't usually write reviews when my expectations are met. However I definitely write reviews every time my expectations have been exceeded which happened today. I've rented multiple cars from enterprise and other rental companies and never left a positive or negative review. After today dealing with Madyson Moran as my car rental lady she went above and beyond in everywhere. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a cheerful demeanor and then she turned my walk in reservation which was not ideal to a world class deal. Couldn't have been more happy with the experience, I wish every car rental agent was just like Maddy. No wonder she's been selected to train for Managment. Thanks Madyson read more

Wow wow wow!! I reserved a suburban two weeks in advance for my vacation. They called me an hour before pick up, letting me know I would no longer be picking up an 8passenger and they only had 7 seaters available. I went to pick up a 7 seater. There was ONE employee working. Line was 30+ people deep. They gave me a Tahoe, it wasn't gonna work for all my luggage (no trunk). So we took a Chrysler Pacifica instead! We called and complained to corporate as we were there for over 2 HOURS!!! They told us Sunday morning they would have our suburban available to pick up! We get there Sunday morning at 9:15am. We rented a car from CVG Wednesday Oct. 20th. While driving to our location we noticed the suspension is rattling, the head lights flickering at night while driving, and the tire pressure light remains on. The rep at the airport said, it's just a sensor, you're good. My husband tried calling several local stores, tried calling the airport many times and can not get through to anyone. We simply wanted to exchange the car for a different safer car. Terrible customer service! Update: We got home Sunday Oct. 24th, and I still have not received a refund or any help. I emailed customer service since we were in Cincinnati, and they just keep me going in circles, no help at all. I don't understand why the manager from CVG can't call me and give me a refund. I have been having the same conversation since Oct. 21st! Nothing has been done! What can you do for me today? Something needs to be done. Emailing care@enterprise.com is a waste of time, they have done nothing for me. So what can you do to help today? I have been emailing Care@enterprise.com since October 21st, they have done nothing to help me. They just say they will submit my info. Please...And you have to be kidding me that you would respond with that! They literally are just having me go in circles. Also there isn't a number to call to actually speak with someone. read more

First, a warning: This location is NOT in the airport. It's just a short ways down the road from the airport. This isn't a problem - it's literally 4 minutes away and they have a shuttle with an awesome driver. Just be aware that the normal airport car dropoff is not where you'll be headed for enterprise. Anyway, we dropped our rental off here, and had a slight problem (the price was different than what we were originally told). Everyone was friendly, professional, and helped us resolve the misunderstanding, and an hour later I had a voicemail thanking me for being a customer, and letting me know the price had been fixed. Awesome. I will rent from enterprise again, and wouldn't hesitate to use this location again. read more

I don't make many 5 star reviews but anyone who has rented with Enterprise recently will likely agree their customer service is way above the bar. Now then, I admit that the bar for rental car customer service is low but even so, when you're greeted kindly and given the car you actually reserved, or reasonable options for upgrades, along with full explanations of the vehicle that you didn't have to hike to because the agent brought it to you....it sets the company apart from their rivals. Enterprise at CVG was great; reserved a Jeep Renegade "or similar" which was available however, they offered me a huge upgrade to a Nissan Armada for a measly $10/day, with GPS included. Done. Deal. The agents were great and the shuttle drivers were awesome too. On the inbound leg, the driver was very keen to point out to a lady requiring wheelchair service, where she should ask the shuttle driver to drop her off when they returned to the airport, as the place we were picked up from didn't have airport employees present who could help her. That's good customer care. Tony was our driver on the way back; we were about to leave the rental car lot for the terminal when he spotted a lady pulling in to the return line. He asks us to please wait a moment, asks the lady of her rental was ok, takes her keys and gets her loaded up as well. She was very grateful he waited for her. Although as a government employee I have to take whichever company is chosen for me, I think my personal travel rental car choices will now all be with Enterprise. read more

This office left my wife stranded at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport at 11:30 pm despite her confirming the reservation and pickup time before her flight departed. She ended up going to another rental agency and paid twice as much for a car. Have given every other enterprise a 5 star and typically have had good experiences with enterprise. I use them on a regular basis and have a platinum membership with them. Was asked by enterprise to stop in at a branch to provide a different credit card since my card on file had been reissued. They were friendly and got me in and out. Unknown to me, the rates were changed from my initial agreement when I did this. In addition, every other rental I've always had converts to at least a weekly or monthly rate when these points are hit. This branch, for some reason, I believe, charged me a daily rate for my rental even though I had it for 6 weeks. The contract states a weekly rate on it but I was not given that weekly rate. Why do I say I believe I was charged the daily rate? Because I can't seem to get anyone to look into this. I have called corporate which said they would relay the discrepancy to the branch 3 separate times. No response. Called the branch directly 12 times... no answer. Texted the rep at the branch who had messaged me while I had the rental asking if someone could help with the discrepancy.... no response. My weekly rate was $246.89 and yet I ended up being charged $463.13. I know there are taxes etc but my cost is almost doubled. Unbelievable and I can't get anyone to respond. read more
