Terrible experience. The car battery was dead on both days, had to go through enterprise both days to get roadside assistance. The first day to get a jump, the second day to have it towed back to the airport. I could not get enterprise to help with a replacement, and, of course, it is impossible to get through to the office at CVG airport to talk to someone. Agent directed us up to the parking level to pick up our vehicle. A super helpful agent met us upstairs and directed us to our specific vehicle, discussed the pros and cons of alternative vehicles, and showed us the features of our originally reserved option. He even assisted in lowering the back seats. We signed out and left with no issues. If I could give zero stars I would. We got a flat in our rental at 6:10 pm. Thought we could change the tire and be on our way. Nope. No spare. Called roadside "assistance" which was no help at all because they said "call 911" and hung up on us. As we are stranded on an interstate. 3 adults and 3 teenagers. Called back told us they would get a tow truck but we would have to Uber home on our dime. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Tow truck said they would be there in 2 hours. Called back and was sent to roadside assistance again. Same thing - call 911 and then hung up. One of the other adults called and finally got someone somewhat helpful. Got us a tow truck that would come in 45 minutes. And an Uber to take one of us to the nearest airport to get a replacement. Tow guy dropped us and our luggage off at an unsafe truck stop. Person trying to get a replacement was told the process was typically about 6 hours. Got the run around there. Finally had to call someone hours away to come get us and our other person was going to take an Uber home. He finally got a replacement while we were on the way home. At our expense NOT Enterprises. I am an avid car renter for every trip I take. I always use my work discount and never have any issues. I paid and reserved a car 3 months in advance. I even read the fine print, as best I could, and the deposit information. When I went to pick up the car I paid to rent I was told I would need a $400 deposit! Excuse me? I already paid for the car. I called the 1800 number before I even made vacation plans to avoid this situation. The agent told me I wouldn't have a deposit. Cool. Fast forward to today. I arrive and wait my turn. When I arrive the lady makes small talk which is fine and continues to ask me for my payment. I informed her it was paid for. She said she needed a deposit. I've never paid one before so this was new information. She said Everyone pays a deposit of $400. I even read them word for word the information on the website and was basically called an idiot. I have rented from them before and didn't pay $400. Be ready to pay a ton of money upfront. They also refused to help me because I had a debit card not a credit card. We used them for our wedding at the end of August and was disappointed. The driver was great and we felt sorry for her because the limo that was sent for us to use the air conditioning had gone out. My bridesmaids and I and them myself and my husband had to ride without air conditioning. We could only get one window to go down but of course when you have your hair done for your wedding you don't want wind blown hair!! We received an email afterwards asking for us to complete a survey but the survey sight didn't work. We emailed them regarding what happened and have gotten no response. My husband also noted that it sounded like the exhaust system in the limo was gone as the car made a lot of noise. Overall a disappointing experience. read more

This team and Tristian just saved so much anxiety for our family. We flew from Texas to spend the holidays with my in-laws and our 6:00 am return flight got canceled in the middle of the night. We learned we weren't going to be able to get a flight until two days later at the earliest. We needed to get back for personal health reasons and it couldn't wait. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Intl. Airport. Not a bad rental, but the car I got smelled like smoke, which stunk up my clothes every time I was in it. I'm a non-smoker, so yeah...that's an issue with me. One other issue: The Altima they gave me had expired tags and inspection from West Virginia. I was pulled over in Cincinnati for this, and that left me a little steamed. Once I told the officer it was a rental, he let me go. Not cool. Whatever. The Covid approach to car rental was straightforward and quick. I didn't realize until we pulled out that we had not discussed gas (am I going to bring it back full or let them fill it and charge me). I always bring it back full, so that's what I did, however it felt like a miss. It should have been discussed when signing the paperwork. I have traveled extensively for work, so I know the drill. I assume not everyone does. Also, the rental paperwork is needed to get out of the car rental area. Nobody explained this upfront, so our paperwork was in the trunk, which did the person letting us out no good. Thankfully she had a workaround that did not require us to get out of the car to retrieve the paperwork. Again, simply mentioning this requirement when checking in at Enterprise would have made exiting much quicker. The car was great. The return process was simple. read more

I was highly disappointed with the customer service I received not only at the CVG location but also at the customer care line. I do not recommend renting a car from AVIS or Budget(which is the same company) 1) The initial pickup at the CVG location was terrible. I reserved a mid-size car, and (Gary) the person at the Avis desk, not only ignored my request but did not bother to review my reservation and provided me with a truck. 2) The truck received smelled of weed and was filthy on the inside. 3) when I extended my rental, I was promised a discount on the extension, but I was charged over 561.51 dollars. (Unexplained). When I called the customer care line, I was told this was a "me issue" and that I could end the agreement by returning the vehicle. The customer care personnel also provided a fake name. 4) I was then charged 60 dollars and then received another charge for 149.98 (not authorized or explained as to what the charges are for) 5) upon returning the vehicle, it was raining outside, and there was some mud on the floorboard. I was told I'd be charged an additional 150.00 cleaning fee. Worst experience ever with extremely poor follow-through. I would advise against going to Avis or budget. read more

I had a very uncomfortable situation with the branch manager at the Cincinnati airport location earlier this week. He said his name was Dion, but he was not acting like a branch manager. Has anyone else had a negative experience with him? He was insulting, condescending and did not listen. He kept interrupting me when I tried to talk. He told me I didn't understand how things worked. Worst of all he stood up from his desk near the end of our conversation to tower over and intimidate me. Terribly inappropriate and unprofessional. I've rented cars at well over 100 different rental car locations, and I'm rarely pleased. This Enterprise (in Hebron, Kentucky) is clearly superior to most other locations. This business currently has 42 reviews with an average rating of four stars, which is unusually high for a rental car business. Most of the rental car locations I have been to provide good, but unmemorable service. This location actually surprised me with their exceptionally good service. My journey here started because I was coming into the Cincinnati area on business, and my employer randomly selected the cheapest rental car company nearby the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport, or CVG. After flying into CVG, I didn't have to wait too long until the Enterprise shuttle bus picked me up. The driver was friendly and professional, and was nice enough to help me with my bags. After arriving at this Enterprise, I was greeted by Sydney. She was also very friendly and professional, and asked me how my flight was and about my travel plans while I was in the area. Questions like these can seem routine, but I could tell that she was sincere and was genuinely interested in my well-being. After a pleasant discussion, and obtaining all the necessary data, she said she was giving me an upgrade to make my stay in the area more enjoyable. Sydney was amazingly kind, and this gesture did in fact help to make my experience in the area more pleasant. When I get a rental car, my expectations are usually pretty low from so many mediocre or even terrible experiences. I know I'll usually be stuck in some crappy little economy car that's barely a step up from a Yugo or a Geo Metro (if you remember those junky cars). Sydney gave me a really nice upgrade - a new Toyota Camry 4-door LE. The car was really smooth and pleasant to drive during my long stay in the Cincinnati area. After my business was conducted, I returned the car to Enterprise and took the shuttle bus back to CVG. The check-in process was smooth and the shuttle driver was, once again, friendly and helpful. Upon final review of all the charges, I was also pleased to see that my final rental car charge matched my predicted/quoted cost. If you're flying into CVG, I would definitely suggest you rent your car from this Enterprise. They have a friendly and professional staff, and they know how to operate a successful business. read more

After today dealing with Madyson Moran as my car rental lady she went above and beyond in everywhere. Wow wow wow!! I reserved a suburban two weeks in advance for my vacation. They called me an hour before pick up, letting me know I would no longer be picking up an 8passenger and they only had 7 seaters available. I went to pick up a 7 seater. There was ONE employee working. Line was 30+ people deep. They gave me a Tahoe, it wasn't gonna work for all my luggage (no trunk). So we took a Chrysler Pacifica instead! We called and complained to corporate as we were there for over 2 HOURS!!! They told us Sunday morning they would have our suburban available to pick up! We get there Sunday morning at 9:15am. THE KEYS VANISHED FOR THE SUBURBAN !!!!!!!??????? Worker was NO HELP! Didn't offer any customer service, no accommodation. NOTHING!!!! I will NEVER rent from enterprise EVER AGAIN!!!!! read more

We rented a car from CVG Wednesday Oct. 20th. While driving to our location we noticed the suspension is rattling, the head lights flickering at night while driving, and the tire pressure light remains on. The rep at the airport said, it's just a sensor, you're good. My husband tried calling several local stores, tried calling the airport many times and can not get through to anyone. We simply wanted to exchange the car for a different safer car. Terrible customer service! Update: We got home Sunday Oct. 24th, and I still have not received a refund or any help. I emailed customer service since we were in Cincinnati, and they just keep me going in circles, no help at all. I don't understand why the manager from CVG can't call me and give me a refund. I have been having the same conversation since Oct. 21st! Nothing has been done! What can you do for me today? Something needs to be done. Emailing care@enterprise.com is a waste of time, they have done nothing for me. So what can you do to help today? First, a warning: This location is NOT in the airport. It's just a short ways down the road from the airport. This isn't a problem - it's literally 4 minutes away and they have a shuttle with an awesome driver. Just be aware that the normal airport car dropoff is not where you'll be headed for enterprise. Anyway, we dropped our rental off here, and had a slight problem (the price was different than what we were originally told). Everyone was friendly, professional, and helped us resolve the misunderstanding, and an hour later I had a voicemail thanking me for being a customer, and letting me know the price had been fixed. I don't make many 5 star reviews but anyone who has rented with Enterprise recently will likely agree their customer service is way above the bar. Now then, I admit that the bar for rental car customer service is low but even so, when you're greeted kindly and given the car you actually reserved, or reasonable options for upgrades, along with full explanations of the vehicle that you didn't have to hike to because the agent brought it to you....it sets the company apart from their rivals. Enterprise at CVG was great; reserved a Jeep Renegade "or similar" which was available however, they offered me a huge upgrade to a Nissan Armada for a measly $10/day, with GPS included. Done. Deal. The agents were great and the shuttle drivers were awesome too. On the inbound leg, the driver was very keen to point out to a lady requiring wheelchair service, where she should ask the shuttle driver to drop her off when they returned to the airport, as the place we were picked up from didn't have airport employees present who could help her. That's good customer care. Tony was our driver on the way back; we were about to leave the rental car lot for the terminal when he spotted a lady pulling in to the return line. He asks us to please wait a moment, asks the lady of her rental was ok, takes her keys and gets her loaded up as well. She was very grateful he waited for her. Although as a government employee I have to take whichever company is chosen for me, I think my personal travel rental car choices will now all be with Enterprise. read more

Have given every other enterprise a 5 star and typically have had good experiences with enterprise. I use them on a regular basis and have a platinum membership with them. Was asked by enterprise to stop in at a branch to provide a different credit card since my card on file had been reissued. They were friendly and got me in and out. Unknown to me, the rates were changed from my initial agreement when I did this. In addition, every other rental I've always had converts to at least a weekly or monthly rate when these points are hit. This branch, for some reason, I believe, charged me a daily rate for my rental even though I had it for 6 weeks. The contract states a weekly rate on it but I was not given that weekly rate. Why do I say I believe I was charged the daily rate? Because I can't seem to get anyone to look into this. I have called corporate which said they would relay the discrepancy to the branch 3 separate times. No response. Called the branch directly 12 times... no answer. Texted the rep at the branch who had messaged me while I had the rental asking if someone could help with the discrepancy.... no response. My weekly rate was $246.89 and yet I ended up being charged $463.13. I know there are taxes etc but my cost is almost doubled. Unbelievable and I can't get anyone to respond. read more

At CVG (Cincinnati Airport ) the shuttle picked us up at airport, took about 5 minutes to reach Enterprise office, we had our car within10 minutes. New vehicle, unlimited miles, great price and upon return excellent, courteous , expeditious service. Their parking was being redone so I parked in lot where cars are stored so agent greeted me at door and brought car back with my mother so she wouldn't have to walk far. No comparison to the California locations. The staff at CVG enterprise go above and beyond for customers. I rented a premium car and it was clean and a tank full of gas. I had a great experience at this particular Enterprise Rental Car. I flew in on Thanksgiving day to surprise my family for the Holidays. I had reserved a car via Expedia when booking my flight. There was a shuttle bus waiting once I got my luggage. There wasn't a lot of other travelers but I was glad to not have to wait again after a long day of traveling. The driver was sweet and friendly as we made the short drive to the lot. The store manager, Kevin, assisted me immediately upon arrival. He was friendly and quick, but made sure to cover necessary logistics with me. I would be returning the vehicle outside of their office hours so he explained that the car rental company next door had a 24 hour shuttle that would take me to the airport. He also let me use a coupon although I had a problem pulling up the code on my phone. His courteous gesture was not lost on me and it was greatly appreciated. I had no issues with the Nissan Altima I rented for the weekend. I had no problems with returning the car and the price Kevin quoted and what was on my paperwork was what was final billed to my credit card. No hidden fees or agenda was charged to me unexpectedly. I will most definitely use this Enterprise again whenever flying into Cincinnati and I need a rental car. read more

When your flight is delayed to late night, you won't have a rental car. Our flight was delayed five hours from SLC, so we had a CVG arrival time of 2:20a. I noticed Enterprise had an 11p closing time and called from SLC to see what to do. The man that I talked to said that they were closed but that National/Alamo had a shuttle running 24/7 and it was no problem. I confirmed that my Enterprise booking (car type and pricing) would be valid with them, and he said yes, not to worry about a thing. We arrived at CVG and made our way to the car rental shuttle area, and it was deserted. I asked a sweet late night cleaning woman and the shuttle driver for Marriott if they knew anything about a late night National/Alamo shuttle and they did not. I called the local number for National/Alamo and it just rang. We waited another three hours at the airport for the Enterprise to open. The assistant manager on duty apologized and said that National/Alamo are supposed to have a shuttle running until the last flight of the day is in (which is not my definition of "24/7") and he wasn't sure what happened. I was comped one day of a four-day rental and a tank of gas. I had no issues with the minivan I rented. If I had to do it again, I would have called National/Alamo when Enterprise said they would be taking over in order to confirm with them their policies for late night pick ups. And in the future, I won't rent from this Enterprise location again. read more

I happen to be staying at the Marriott down about a quarter to a third of a mile down. The stretch of road is a highway and very dark.
