Very grateful to Zach! I left my prescription glasses in a rental we had returned, and didn't realize it for a while because I was using my rx sunglasses (I'm blind). I freaked out a little bit and called the golden branch. Zach checked and surely enough, my glasses were still there! I was able to go back and get them, and now I can see indoors. I have rented here at least a dozen times over the last year. Usually I have had great service, but after the issue and interaction I had today, I will no longer be renting from this location. I called twice this week to confirm a pickup in the morning, and after 45 minutes of no one showing up, I called the store and spoke to the store manager (Louis).There was no apology for being late, no accountability, and I was actually blamed for the late pickup this morning because of a previous error this location made. I inquired about the two confirmation calls I had made for the pick up, and was told that by Louis that he "didn't know anything about that." I understand that sometimes people run behind, but not apologizing and taking accountability for the mistake is unprofessional and poor customer service. Just be warned, if they mess up and treat a customer who frequently rents from them this way, how do you think they'll treat you? read more

Despite my efforts to work with your team, the situation has been mishandled, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my daily life. Below is a timeline of events (yesterday): 3:30 AM: I contacted Enterprise and explained the situation, including the garage door height (82") and the need for specific towing equipment. I was assured a towing company would contact me. 12:03 PM: I called the Golden Enterprise office and was transferred to Enterprise National but was disconnected. 12:46 PM: I called Enterprise National again, and they apologized for miscommunication, promising another tow company would call me. 1:49 PM: I received an automated call stating the tow truck would arrive in 32 minutes. 4:01 PM: I called Enterprise National again and was informed the first tow company couldn't complete the job. A new company was dispatched. 4:19 PM: I received a text stating the tow company would arrive in 90 minutes. 4:57 PM: I received a second text marking the service as completed, but the vehicle was still in the garage. 4:57 PM: I called Enterprise National again and was told different equipment was needed, and it would take 24-48 hours to resolve. 5:14 PM: I contacted Denver West Towing, but they couldn't assist without Enterprise's permission. 5:30 PM: I visited the Golden Enterprise office, where I was refused a replacement rental until the first vehicle was recovered. This series of events has left me without transportation and with no clear resolution in sight. I have been patient and cooperative, but the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I kindly request the following: Immediate action to recover the vehicle using appropriate towing equipment. Authorization for Denver West Towing or another local company to assist if Enterprise's towing partners are unable to complete the job. A replacement rental vehicle provided without further delay. Please prioritize this matter and provide a clear timeline for resolution. I am available to discuss this further. Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue. -I never received a response to this email or to a contact form I filled out online. -Hopefully last edit: Friday 09/26 As previously mentioned, they said I would be contacted about a tow in 24 - 48 hours. They called us the morning of our rental to say they don't have any cars. This location used to be good, but it's going downhill fast. Edit: the point is, enterprise is allowing people to reserve cars without having cars to give out. They know how to take the reservation, they just don't know how to "hold" the reservation. Today I went to pick up a reserved car by my insurance company, guy who attended me denied me the service because I brought my instruction permit to identify myself, he said only driver license is accepted to pick up a vehicles. There was a guy I front of me that had no drivers license to pick up a car and they accepted him a different proof of identity, when I asked to use my passport to pick up my reserved vehicle guy who attended me said "only dl is accepted like form of id" why they allowed the other guy to pick up a rented car whit no drivers license and why they denied me the service if I brought my instruction permit issued by the colorado dmv like a proof of identity, I offered my passport like proof of identity as well but they denied me the service, no matter I already had a reservation. Now I have a lot of problems because they denied me the service and there is nothing o can do. read more

I rented and returned a vehicle from the Lupine St. Enterprise with no issues. Days later I got a call from this branch informing me of significant damage to the vehicle - damage that was not present when it was returned. An agent even did a walk around at the drop off and sent us on our way. Enterprise is now holding me responsible for $4,500+ worth of damage that I had nothing to do with. I've been appealing this for months now. It has been a nightmare. Enterprise has been completely unhelpful. I've asked for video and photo evidence with no reply. Do not rent here, and if you have to, take your own personal photos and videos of the car before and after. I wish I had done so. read more

Car was given to me to rent because a driver hit me. The accident was deemed her fault and so finally after waiting a month got the rental. People were nice when I picked up. But the insurance company accepted liability and now isn't paying. So Enterprise charged $794.00 plus my $50. To my credit card. I did not know this and I had a major surgery on the 23rd of May ( which enterprise was well aware of) and got an infection that is antibiotic resistant and they just grew a sample and got the right one. So I almost died. I am a single mom and a social worker that works with geriatric and severely mentally iss patients. But this surgery put me on lWOP so I'm broke. I explained that I have to have the car because I have to be able to show the Drs I can drive before I leave. And hospitals after my illness will not let you take an UBER. So the insurance company works closely with Enterprise and it should be all paid for. So I am still in the hospital with no money for groceries for my 20 yr old son who is home by himself with our doggies. And all my credit cards are maxed for copays and this rental car. I called them several times once even coming out of surgery. And they stated " we are going to take the money because somebody has to pay" I asked if they could reverse the charges due to my circumstances. They Declined waiting till I was out of hospital. So this whole experience has been horrible and the car that the girl hit I actually bought from Enterprise car sales last September. The girl hit us on January 2 and I didn't get a rental till March now this. So I have only done positive reviews for businesses . But this was so disgustingly unkind knowing that they needed to get the money from insurance not a single mom in the intensive care. If you Ever rent from The Golden store make sure you do not give them any credit card information if you don't have it to lose. And because they charged these amounts without my permission so it's obvious they know nothing about business Ethics. So in rambling because I am sitting in the hospital trying to figure who I can borrow money from to feed my son. And that is ridiculous. I pay my bills on time but didn't just have $800 on my debit card. If they would have called before they did it maybe a family member would have helped. THE BOTTOM Line is this location ( and I don't know if they are privately owned) but they don't care who's fault the accident was etc. So I am paying the price financially, emotionally and physically because my son and I are scared. We have $100 left till I get out. So I would not Ever recommend this Golden location to anyone. They are bullies , insensitive and inappropriate. They are nice cars are clean etc. But if your car is in the shop because Denver Auto shops are. Let the 5 star review begin. It was very difficult to find an enterprise location that had a vehicle to rent. I had difficulty calling to get anyone on the phone. I would later find out a trick to press the * button to help get through. I was also told that as a last resort, they always have vehicles at the airport for a higher price. Finally after a long day of searching, Philip the manager answered the phone from the Golden location and offered to help me get a vehicle that would be turned in before they closed. Philip was nice with his attitude and communication. When I arrived, I spoke with Gus. In addition to my drivers license, they needed two additional proofs of address because I was using a debit card, instead of a credit card. I thought Gus was giving me a hard time, but he communicated some of the recent experiences that they have had that helped me to understand the reason for the extra precautions. That's a major plus to do when dealing with someone who is unfamiliar with the workings of renting a car. Well done Gus for helping me to understand where you were coming from. Remember to keep doing that with the newbies. The main reason for the 5 out of 5 stars was the first class service from Andy. I could tell that when he was showing me the 2020 Nissan with California license plates, that he had given that speech hundreds of times before. Yet he still found a way to make it personal, avoiding a robotic tone. He seemed to genuinely care about sending me off the right way and answering any questions that I had. Andy shared where I could leave my older vehicle for a couple of days near the location. Andy helped to guide the best insurance to purchase without the feeling of a used car salesman. I love that I had unlimited miles for a couple days for the total price of $244 dollars. There was an additional $200 dollar deposit that did go back into my bank account a few days after my return. The vehicle ran wonderful and I felt similar to Cinderella when the fairy godmother transformed her transportation to the latest and greatest. Adjusting back to my vehicle was a bit of a sad moment, but now I know where to go for future trips. I was pulled over 3 times in Kansas on 9/11/20 - I think the California plates may have been part of the reason in addition to the vehicle looking sporty. Not one ticket was given each of the three times. Each time I was pulled over it was for something ridiculous, like not leaving the blinker on long enough when changing lanes. Get a vehicle with the same state plates as where you are going to be traveling and that is not too sporty. Plus never drive on 9/11 when every officer from Kansas is on ultra high alert. I was able to deposit the keys back at the location around 2am in the morning when the store was closed and parked the Nissan right in front of the store. Being pulled over 3 times really was a bummer, but on the part of the Golden Enterprise Location, it was a pleasure to deal with Philip, Gus and Andy. The sound system in the Nissan was top notch, the ability to see the amount of miles before empty was super helpful, and the luxury of the vehicle was excellent. read more

Aside from automated check-ins at rental places, this was the easiest in-person checkin I have ever experienced at a rental shop. Since I called ahead and specified a vehicle request, the car was ready and waiting for me. We found out during a snow storm that the VW Atlas SUV they gave us was actually 2wd. I have rented vehicles from Enterprise for a number of years and have been mostly happy; sometimes ecstatic. I have also used them quite a bit for business purposes. What occurred at this location has never happened to me before. I rented a car 4WD so that I could attend the XGames. Made arrangements to pick it up after work and showed up to do just that. I game them my card and ID; they don't like that it's a bank card. Do I have any other card? Being credit conscious, I do not. The "woman" behind the counter aggressively asks me for two forms of utility bills with my name on it, or the websites for me to log into for said info; as some sort of credit reference(?). I don't just have that kind of info just on me... and my utilities are split and I don't have all of my log-ins/passwords memorized. Anyway, her attitude towards me stank. By the way, the guys behind the counter were alright. The "woman"; not so much. I am trying to pay you for the use of your vehicle. You have my ID and bank card, and I am standing right in front of you. Work with me. Sheesh! I will never go back. read more

Ended up paying over $80 and the worker AJ never warned me about the "young driver fee" that was going to be tacked on. Didn't even notice it until I got my receipt by email the next day. I went to this extra location without any corals. I showed up I already paid online for the car and extra coverage. They refused to use my major credit card for the deposit. They wanted me to jump through several unnecessary hoops to use my debit card and then their lack of common sense is infuriating. I have a private employer and after showing them my paycheck stub like they requested they said "they don't know that company so they won't except it"! So a few weeks back my wife and I were in the area for a wedding. We decided trying to Uber or Lyft everywhere wasn't the best option so we thought we'd rent a vehicle. We went online and booked with Hertz. THIS WAS A MISTAKE. We schedule out pick up for noon and when we showed up the location was closed, at noon. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Hertz customer service and they did nothing for us. So I called Enterprise and talked to Andy. He let us know they could get us right. Just as we were about to head over another man pulled up to the Hertz and had the same situation and was trying to get a truck to help his son me. We brought him with us to enterprise and within 15 minutes of arrival both Andy and Phil had gotten all the paperwork handled, pulled up the cars, and handed both of us our keys. Because they were so responsive and cordial they gained two new customers in the last minutes of the day. I've rented twice from here since it's the closest to my house and their rates are really competitive. The staff are really friendly and have good guest service, however wait times are sort of ridiculous. I'm not sure if they had enough staff the day I rented a car or what but I set my appointment up a week prior to accommodate taking my car in for repairs before work. Emma and Rachel were extremely nice and helpful, and the car was immaculate. Apparently earlier that day they had been slammed, but when I got there it was a very quick process. Regardless, Emma even apologized to me for the wait the day I picked it up, which was all of maybe 5 minutes, if that. They also gave me a ride back to the dealership down the road so I could pick up my car, which I guess is a standard thing they'll do, but they got somebody to drive me right away, and Richard was very friendly as well. Rented from them recently when my car was in the shop for the weekend. As usual, their pick-up service was convenient, and service professional. I did have a little problem with charges related to leaving the car at an after-hours drop location, but they quickly resolved it and refunded the overcharge without hesitation. (In case you're curious about the details and the resolution: I picked up on a Friday afternoon, only needed the rental for 24 hours. I told them that at the outset, they said that the office would be closed at that time on Saturday, but I could leave it at their after-hours location. You're probably already guessing the rest: they charged me for the two additional days until they checked it in when their office reopened Monday morning. Yes, that is common practice and is in their fine print, but I felt that since they had offered it at the time of rental, they should only charge me for the one day. And, as I said before, they did quickly refund that money without question, so kudos to them!) read more
