We took delivery of a Chrysler Pacifica and soon noticed that the recesses in the floor of the rear passenger area were full of food detritus--jelly beans, Skittles, crushed potato chips--and when we swept with a shop vac we got some of it up but the rest was glued down by spilled beverages. During our trip the AC suddenly stopped blowing cold air. This coincided with one scorcher of a heat wave and we had a most miserable 10-hour drive home in 90-plus degree weather. When I returned the vehicle I informed the desk clerk that she should know that the AC went out on us and should be fixed before renting it out again. We got no apology, no thanks, no offer to make things right. At the very least she could have offered to give us an upgrade on our next rental. This was a missed opportunity for Avis/Budget because we won't be coming back. On one previous occasion I had reserved a full-sized car and they gave me a Nissan Sentra and tried to pass it off as full-sized when I pointed out that it wasn't. So I had to wait an hour while they cleaned up a Chevy Malibu with loose carpet with stuffing falling out of it. I've had better service at Enterprise in the past and that's where I'll be doing business from now on.

It's pretty funny to me that they were ok to take my money but now are not only not giving me what I paid for, they are also holding on to my money for another 5-7 business days. I'm sad I didn't catch her name because she deserved a shout out. She was friendly, professional and efficient. As an Executive VIP with National, she gave me a few choices in the car I received. Sometimes you are offered cars begrudgingly but she seemed thrilled with the choices she had for me. The airport has some construction going on so the cars are located in the long term parking lot. So make sure you go by the counter and get your key, regardless of your status with them. Once you get your car it is easy to head out of the airport. Returning is a bit confusing. Follow the signs back to the long term parking lot. You park your car back in the long term parking lot and return your key to the counter. I'm still not sure if I was supposed to park it in the same space that I picked it up from. But I told the same lovely lady what space I parked it in and she said, "great". Drop off was easy. When I received the car it was just over half full with gas. I returned it almost full. When I mentioned that when I returned it she offered a credit and apologized. I wasn't expecting that but it sure was appreciated. I will definitely rent my next car from them.

Service is excellent, except when dropping off the Cadillac I almost got charged for it because the employee forgot to note the free upgrade.. thankfully after a little while I got that situation resolved. If for some reason, I ever need to rent a car again in the area... I will rent it from here.
