I've been an "Enterprise Rent-A-Car" member dating back to the late-1990's. Over that period of time, I've rented cars, crossovers, SUV's, and even a moving truck with little to no issues. This takes me to the Euclid, Ohio location which is a suburb east of Cleveland where I needed a vehicle getting around the greater Cleveland area as well as venturing out to several landmarks and my Airbnb stay (about an hour east of here in Conneaut, Ohio). I booked my rental via-Enterprise app a week prior on my phone while an employee reached out to me by phone two days prior to my pickup time/date. This location is directly off of I-90 at 20950 Lakeland Blvd. It is more or less situated in between E. 200th St. and E. 222nd St. while being directly next to a Sunoco Gas Station. The Enterprise sign is easily visible from the highway while the parking lot is also easy to spot especially coming from Lakeland Blvd. (which is a one way road). Upon my arrival, Mr. Thomas Wilks, a Management Trainee took care of me from start to finish. I presented to him my valid drivers' license and major credit card. He also asked me if I wanted extra coverage for an extra fee which is normal questions every Enterprise employee goes over before they hand over your key fob to your vehicle. I was given a 2022 Mazda CX-5 crossover vehicle. The vehicle only had 1/4 tank of gas but Thomas gave me an option if I wanted the tank filled up or returned as it was. I said I would take it as it is and he mentioned that I could bring it back empty. Cost of the vehicle was $60.99 per day. I kept the vehicle from Wednesday 9/13/2023 at 10am to Thursday 9/14/2023 at 4:50pm. And instead of charging me for a full extra day, Thomas was able to shave off a few dollars which made my grand total to $108. This shows how above and beyond Enterprise employees go in taking care of their customers. His level of professionalism and strong work ethic shows how well trained many of their employees are. As far as my vehicle, it was comfortable, roomy, and great on gas. It had all the features including Sirius XM radio, navigation, leather seats, electronic stability control, start/stop ignition, and a sliding glass moonroof. Once returning my vehicle, the required $300 deposit was adjusted while the $108 balance due showed up instantly on my credit card account. With that said and done, I am giving the Euclid, OH "Enterprise Rent-A-Car" a unanimous five-star Yelp review. Rating: 1/5 Date: October 17, 2024 Title: Unresolved Charge and Poor Customer Service I recently rented a car from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch in Euclid, Ohio on 9/3/24 due to a car accident. After returning the vehicle on 9/14/24, I was unexpectedly charged $58.29. When I inquired about this charge, I was told by an employee named Abby that it was for a Saturday fee, despite returning the car on Saturday. Abby said she would give me a refund. However, despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I have been unable to obtain a refund. I subsequently have disputed the charge with my credit card company, but they have concluded that it is my responsibility. I went back to the Euclid branch again and explained the situation, Abby told me that she would give me a refund. Upon disputing with my credit card, I realized that the $58.29 was not a charge of extra day but the waiver fee that I never purchased. The response letter from Enterprise indicates that the charge was for a "3-day select waiver fee," which I never purchased or agreed to. I explicitly informed the rental agent, Andrew, that I did not want this fee, both when I rented the car and the following day. I saw the charge right away on the next day of my rental car so I called Euclid Branch and Abby told me that she would take care it. I also told Andrew about this matter to confirm that I didn't want it. Andrew replied that "I thought you did," so I told him "I told you I didn't want it, remember?" Andrew recollected and agreed. On top of that, when I called Euclid branch to ask the process of my refund (believing the charge was for the extra day, Saturday), Andrew told me "We did refunded already." I have no idea why would he lie like this? The Euclid branch's customer service has been extremely disappointing. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this matter, I have received little assistance or progress. It is incredibly frustrating to have to chase after a refund for a charge that was clearly an error on Enterprise's part. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from this branch to be extremely cautious and document all interactions carefully. And I still haven't received a refund as of today yet. read more

We rented a truck 2 weeks ago. Arrived this morning to no truck available. That is an unfortunate but understandable scenario. The reason for the review is because Andrew provided zero assistance to help find a solution. He sat there and did nothing. Told US we would have to find another truck or SUV OURSELVES. has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had. car was reserved with pickup at my body shop by my insurance. they didn't show up and didn't answer their phone. only to find out they were busy so they decided to just not pick up the phone or make their pick ups for rentals. waited all day only to get a vehicle they tried to tack on extra money and was zero miles to empty. The staff doesn't care. reservations mean nothing. I wouldn't depend on this place for a car. read more

This Enterprise location has a terrific team. Trae was especially helpful-even successfully guessing which radio station I would enjoy listening to. If you want a miserable experience that will result in frustration and anger, this is your place! Worst customer service ever. The representative on the phone didn't disclose all information required to rent a car. Then when I got there with what I was told to bring, was rudely told it was insufficient. The manager acted like it was my fault that I was misinformed. He trains his employees to tell correct information. What a douche. I spent almost two hours trying to get sufficient paperwork, and didn't even end up renting the car. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! read more

I rented a car for one way from Cleveland to New Jersey for 8 days.the weekly rental fee was slightly lower and the one way drop-off charge was $80 less than expedia or hotwire even. For only $25 more (they gave me 50% off). The nice salesman took us to the yard and showed us the upgrade options.My teenagers and i could not believe what we ended up getting!
