This review is directed at Enterprise as a corporation and not a specific location. I rented a car to drive from Montana to Tennessee. As I drove across Iowa, the car started misfiring. After calling Enterprise customer service three times to get information on what to do, I was finally told to take the car to the Des Moines airport. I swapped the car out there and continued my trip without issues. Here is where the problem starts: about a month later I got a call from the folks in Des Moines claiming the engine problem was caused by putting high-ethanol fuel in the vehicle. This was the first time they had contacted me. I called the last fuel stop I had made to see if I could get a detailed fuel receipt and the manager told me it was too far out to get a detailed fuel receipt, but that it didn't matter because they don't sell anything higher than 10% ethanol anyhow. I reported this information back to the Enterprise rep and thought that was that. A few days later I received notification that I owed Enterprise over $3000 for repairs including replacement of all fuel injectors. I immediately emailed the claim rep back with information showing that the gas station didn't sell high-ethanol fuel and that was ignored. I also contacted a local Hyundai service center to inquire about what sort of repairs would be needed in the case of putting E-85 fuel in a gas engine. He said at worst it would require a fuel system flush costing around $600 and that it wouldn't cause fuel injector failure. I also found that the model year for the rental vehicle had a manufacturer service bulletin for faulty fuel injectors. I again forwarded all of this info to Enterprise and it was ignored. I followed up weekly by email and have never gotten a reply. I've called customer service three times with promise of a callback that never comes. Meanwhile they have tried to file a claim on my car insurance. Not once have I been contacted or my evidence acknowledged. I have read about similar problems with other customers and it seems Enterprise has a habit of trying to pass off maintenance costs on customers. It was in September 2021 that I first had the misfortune of dealing with Enterprise. My car got hit in a parking lot, and my front fender got ripped off. The other guy's insurance was supposed to pay for repairs and for a rental car from Enterprise. As is standard procedure, I gave Enterprise my credit card information and my address when I rented the car. Because of supply chain issues, the repair process took two weeks. I received a bill in the mail from Enterprise saying I owed them $193.65. I sent an email asking why I owed them money, and they said the other guy's rental insurance didn't cover the whole two weeks and I had to pay for the rest. Not sure why they didn't just charge my credit card, but sure, I'll pay it. I followed the instructions and paid the bill online on 12/9/21. (Remittance ID: Enterpr120921114344527VRE.) Another bill came on 12/12/21. I figured it had been postmarked before I paid my bill, so I didn't think anything of it. Another bill came in January. I called Enterprise on my lunch break, and after waiting on hold, I talked to a representative. After giving him my receipt number, I was told that they had indeed received my payment, but it had just gone to the wrong department. I then asked why this happened and what could be done. Not to worry, he said, he would fix the mixup. On 5/22/22, I saw a refund for $143.92 from Enterprise. (I hadn't asked for a refund.) On 6/25/22, I get a letter from a collections agency. They are trying to collect a debt of $143.92 on behalf of Enterprise, exactly the amount that had been refunded a month before. Let's go through the ramifications of this. Even though I HAVE PAID MY BILL: - I have been harassed for more than six months. - My credit score is being threatened, which will affect my ability to buy property in the future. - Background check I am applying for is being threatened, which will affect my livelihood. EMMA! Slay girl slay!! This business has hands down the best service ever. I wish I had the service I received here every place I walked in. Emma (the boss lady) has clearly done her job well and it shows in her employees! Very understanding, patient, accommodating, professional, busy, but prompt. I was treated with the outmost respect. I read some bad reviews about this location, but I didn't experience anything to complain about. This location is not located at the airport, which we knew. We compared prices online with the ones at the airport, and went with this location as it was drastically cheaper. We still received a call beforehand reminding us they were not located at the airport, which I'm sure was helpful for anyone else renting from them. Our plane was a little late, so when our uber arrived, it was a little after our check-in. The car was still ready to go, and they were able to check us in and hand over the key about 10 minutes after arriving. The employees were very quick and helpful, so nothing to complain about. We dropped off after hours, so we had to leave the keys in the dropbox. It was well worth ubering to and from this location to the airport. I decided that instead of paying exorbitant fees at the airport, I would Uber and save some money because this local location was way cheaper than the hotel. It's about a $30 Uber ride from Denver International Airport. When I arrived at the location, it was evident to me that others had the same idea that I did! You can save about 50% off a car rental in Denver if you do this..... I was in a hurry to get to an appointment and they were definitely backlogged and my car wasn't ready. It wasn't speedy service but the folks there were working hard. This seems to be a busy location -- Enterprise management needs to step it up and make life easier for these employees. I decided to go walk to lunch next door and come back in 20 minutes for my car. When I got there, it was still not ready! The line was even longer! The employees were working hard, though. When I finally got my car about 7 minutes later, the employee told me I could bring the car back without filling the tank for the inconvenience. Finally dropped off the loaner car today. The customer service here has been very courteous, professional, and informative. The only complaint I'll have is that they just need to make sure that they inspect their cars before giving it out to their customers. I had to bring the car back in the next day because the tire pressure was low. That just showed me that they did not inspect the vehicle. It was not a big deal that I had to bring it back in, but it could be a big deal if let's say I had to get to a meeting or be somewhere. I feel bad even leaving reviews like this, but I have two words for this location, disappointment & inconvenience. I booked a car for a trip to Denver, to see family I haven't seen in a year due to the army, a over a week in advance. I landed at 5pm, and had an appointment for 6pm. I get there at 6pm, and they tell me "we're closed we cant give you a car" I asked to speak with a manager and the gentleman said the manager left a while ago. I asked "Why are you making appointments for times that are the same as your closing time" he continued to say "Well that's our latest available" ... So my question is if its your last available appointment then why aren't you available to give me a vehicle! Keep in mind this rental car place is 1hr 30min away from where I was staying, due to the army base being so far from the airport. They showed no sign of genuine customer service, nor concern for the fact they are making appointments for times that are not going to allow the customer to obtain a vehicle. It inconvenienced my ENTIRE trip. I would say "ruined" but I am an optimistic person, and managed to make something out of literally nothing. I called several other Enterprise's and they said they didn't have any cars due to a recent hail storm. Which left me without a vehicle the entire weekend. So, I had to pay $200+ for an Uber to get to my family's house. I travel constantly - continentally and internationally. Rental companies are notorious for bad customer service. Still, this enterprise dealership gave me the worst experience I've encountered yet. I booked an 8-passenger SUV through Priceline weeks in advance, only to be informed the day before that the enterprise dealership would be closed at noon on the day of my arrival. This strands my whole family, including young children, in Denver, and makes me miss a critical professional appointment in Montana. The agent was utterly indifferent to my predicament, unwilling to arrange a drop off or adjust the time. And he acted like it was no big deal to force me to rebook the day before and pay an additional $4000 accordingly. Indicative of the worst in horrid customer service these days. I would give zero stars if I could. If you are renting a car from this location or any Enterprise shop takes pictures of every square inch of the car becasue they will say there is damage every time. I dropped my rental off after a week and was told here was hail damage. My insurance and I provided documentation showing there was no hail in the Denver area at any point during my possession of the vehicle and employment records to prove I was nowhere near a place where there had been hail. They then changed their story and said it wasn't hail just general damage. They are rude and taking advantage of people who cannot afford to hire an attorney to fight their fraud ridden business practices. I went through Priceline to get a rental car for a trip to Denver. I made a mistake, putting Denver instead of Denver International Airport. The day before my flight, I had a voicemail from the manager at this location....."I noticed you have an out of state area code, I was just calling to make sure you knew we do not pick up at the airport". I looked to see if I could get a car at the airport, but demand was way up and it would cost me 2.5 times as much to get that same mid-SUV. I tried to call them back, but got their "try again later, all agents are busy" message. I told my wife that the call was probably because they knew they could rent it out much higher if I canceled. We decided to Uber from the airport. On arrival, we got our luggage and, just to be safe, I called the local number for this location and told them I was at the airport and about to head that way. I was asked my name and the agent looked up my rental....then said, "Ok, we will see you when we get here". Upon arrival, it was clear they were frantic for cars....two different couples were waiting and the two men working were on the phone. My wife and I approached the desk and the man on the phone (not the manager) was answering questions...finally he was holding and asked for my card and drivers license. When he was back on the phone he said "wait one second" and asked the manager (over to the side on his phone at a desk), "How long before we have any cars?" and he said "Two hours". My wife immediately said "Does he mean for the guy on the phone or us as well?". I was trying to remain calm and the man said probably all cars. Now had I not called and just spent close to $70 to get there, I would not be too upset, but it is CRAZY that they didn't tell me this when I called so I could go straight to our hotel downtown. I asked why they didn't and he didn't know. I asked for a ride to my hotel and he said "It's just us two, we can't leave". The couples behind us had been waiting a while already.....I couldn't imagine how long. I saw a SUV pull in and a woman that worked there came in and I asked about that car....stating it was what I had reserved. I was told that there was a note stating I was told they had no cars. I said that I just happen to have that message on my phone, all it said was that they did not have airport transportation to that location. There was a lot of discussion and the woman that had come on was trying to help...the manager, meanwhile NEVER came over to talk to us, nor the other couples. They had suggested we go eat closeby and come back and I said that wouldn't work, I had a business lunch that I had to be at in the next hour. Finally, they DID give me the SUV I had seen come in....not filled up, barely cleaned. I was thankful to have it....given the people waiting, one of which was very upset I was getting a car, but his economy car was delivered at the same time. I asked about dropping at the airport and was told it would be a $250 charge to do that. That is ridiculous, I can see it being $50-$70, but not $250 when I rented the car for $39/day. In the end, the manager was the biggest issue here. He mismanaged his inventory and should have alerted people coming in that they could substitute elsewhere and be given a credit of some kind to even it out. The fact that he did not come to each couple and explain the situation and ask that we bear with them while they work it out and offer Something as a credit for the issue, shows a lot about his character. By the way, I wasn't told until I was leaving with the car that they were not open on Sunday and I would have to leave the car and the keys in a drop box (that stated any damage to the car was my responsibility even though I had left it in their lot). read more

For the record, I emailed Enterprise as their response comment from David (?) suggested. My email was sent 47 hours ago. This is the response I received at 3:55pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2018: "We have received your email with the subject: Complaint Regarding RA#: ****** and will respond to your inquiry within 1 business day." To date, that is the ONLY response I have received. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not as much of a priority as they seem to indicate publicly in their responses to poor yelp reviews. It's been a full week since our original experience with this location, and the conversation with Enterprise customer service wherein they stated our concern was of the utmost importance and would be expedited. Funny how "expedited" in most cases means a shortened response time. Clearly not the case with Enterprise. UPDATE: 9/29 - someone from the location just called me to close out my contract, had no knowledge of my multiple complaints, when I began telling her about them she hung up on me. read more

I have been jacked around with rental car companies for so long that I almost assume somehow there will be a glitch. Not here! This was the best run, most efficient rental car location I have been to in years. Aubrey was the staff member that checked me in, and she was beyond efficient. She was answering phones, swiping cards, checking information, and handling problems with a cool, calm demeanor. We also had great interaction with Zach who was very laid back and friendly also. The check-in process was quick (although, on a Saturday we waited behind 2 other guests) and the drop off process was equally painless. This location is in Westminster.....but about half the price of renting from the airport location. Our car was great also---just a Chevy compact---but great on gas and everything worked perfectly. read more

They even called the day prior to confirm I still wanted the vehicle, and then gave away my rental reservation. Bad business practice, will never rent from Enterprise again! They let our reservation go without calling me to see if it was okay, we were delayed at the airport due to baggage issues. Then, they routed us to another location (Downtown Denver - Broadway) to pick-up our car which took us an extra 1.5 hrs. Fortunately we got the car we needed for our ski trip, but really bad service. We booked a reservation for an SUV with a toddler seat and called the Enterprise corporate office to confirm that there would be a car seat. After taking a 30 minute cab ride from the Denver airport, we arrived to find out there was no car seat. And that the only car rental places with car seats are back at the airport for $400 more than the cost of our rental. Aubrey was absolutely amazing. She understood our frustration with the situation and acted quickly and with compassion. She called the branch manager who arrived immediately and was also incredibly helpful. They had never been in this situation before but offered to cover the cost of our rental since we would have to either go purchase a $300 car seat or head back to the airport for a higher priced car. They are honestly the only reason I would ever use Enterprise again. And now I know to never bother calling corporate and to just call branch offices or a specific location. 1 star for corporate. 5 stars for this location! What was at first a stressful situation, this location turned it around not just in their service, but in their kindness and consideration. We used a travel company to place an order for a car rental. The travel company, despite me putting in the needed Denver Airport location, the app selected a location far from the airport. We did not discover this u till we arrived at the airport rental desk. The staff there was unhelpful, other than to offer to cancel the reservation. They provided me a list of competing companies to call and that was it. I called this location (where our rental car was waiting). While there was no way they could bring the car to us, or help with a shuttle (might be an option for the company to think about, as I was told this happens frequently). We had to take a taxi to get there, but they were waiting apologetic, car ready, and an extreme kindness that completely turned our situation around. While we had to take a taxi back to and from the airport to obtain and drop the car off, this location and their level of genuine concern and service made the original hassle a diminished situation. I received a call from them this morning to let us know that everything checked out with the car return (we used after hours service) and the deposit was issued to our card. If you aren't flying back and forth to the Denver airport, but you need a car this location is the place to go! read more

After my car was hit and I took it to the shop to get fixed, I was able to get a rental car through Enterprise. My experience was good until I got a call from Enterprise letting me know that the insurance claim/ statement ended four days ago and I owe the remaining balance of what I've driven for those days. Clearly there was a lack of communication between the shop, insurance, and Enterprise. What I don't understand is why Enterprise didn't call me the day before I was scheduled to return the car to let me know the insurance claim was expiring or why it took them four days to call once I'd already accumulated a balance. I'm disappointed at the fact that Enterprise was not on top of their game. I believe that it's their job to work with the customer and to let the customer know exactly when the car needs to be returned, since they are in contact with insurance and they know all the info. I'm not sure what happened and why this situation came about in the first place, but I can say that it wasn't very professional on Enterprises' side to not inform me that the car needed to be brought in until a couple days later. Overall Enterprise is not a bad company, but it only takes one bad experience to ruin it for you. read more

This rating is for enterprise as a company not just this location, first of all since the beginning of the year I have done three of rentals with them because of their perks plus program the first rental I did it was in Las Vegas got a car full of pet hair that triggered allergies for myself and my son not only that I was overcharged so I return the car the next day on a for day rental and upgraded to a bigger car was told by the manager that they would take 10% off of my total bill at the end and not to worry about the gas which I was later charge for in the 10% never taken off, then in Denver I was in a car accident and was going to pay for the car rental out of my own pocket and was told I would get the points for it 25 days later I am way over $800 bill never got the credit for it and was told that they ran it as an insurance claim even though my credit card was the one charge called customer service four times on it and was guaranteed to get the credits add it to my account received an email today that they will not be crediting my account. To give them some credit I did rent a car last weekend in Arizona I got it with 5 miles on it it was brand new so no cigarette or pet smell I have decided after dealing with customer service and none of them speaking English right regardless of my points I am switching my loyalty for car rental to a different company....,,, If you're doing service in America you should have English speaking representatives read more

Insurance would only pay for 3 days at a time, so I was calling every three days to make sure insurance was still paying. finally, they told me I did not have to call anymore they would call me if their was a problem. Customer service from the get go all the way through dropping the car off. The only issue I have, and it is not this location fault is: Other enterprise locations need to share and be nice. Upon my arrival I was told that the vehicle that I had reserved was unavailable. I was then told to return 7 hours later presumably spending additional money on Lyfts/Ubers until then and they may possibly give me a vehicle that I had reserved for 8:30 this morning. The excuse for their negligence that I was given was the high demand for cars... which, in my opinion, should be the name of the game given that it is a place to rent cars in a tourist's town. After being denied our rental we were then asked to leave because they are "expecting guests to arrive to pick up their rentals". Being that I am on vacation from a city that hardly drops below 60 degrees, I was particularly bothered by this request given that it is currently 15 degrees and we are not properly dressed for this weather that is foreign to us. Due to the fact that we were unwelcome and then rejected from the establishment, we took their advice and left the building, but not before we observed a separate guest being told the EXACT same excuse including the fact that they had "previously attempted to contact" the guest and even left a voicemail that their phones also must have forgotten to inform them of. We did not get to rent a vehicle on our short visit to Denver, and because of this we will not be able to enjoy the vacation we had planned. We were arriving in Denver to head out to Breckenridge (2 adults and 3 children and quite a bit of luggage). The prices at the airport were running around $1000/week for a standard SUV. Therefore, I researched out of airport locations and happened upon this Enterprise location. The fee was $355/week (total). So we took a taxi ($75 w/tip) to pick up the car. It was very clean! And AJ was most efficient. On our return there was a mixup with the shuttle, so we were given a minivan at $30 to take to drop off at the airport. AJ was most helpful, and instead of spending $1000 we spent $460. read more

Very rude customer service we brought back the rental and we were told to bring it back on the 23rd! And that we would get a refund of 50$. When we got there no one was in there beside us and the workers we were not greeted for a while, finally when we were noticed the guy was very unpleasant and looked like he hated his job wasn't friendly, and very snippy. So we proceed to rent the truck and we told we don't get a refund and we have to pay 200$ more and the truck was due back the next day t hey gave it to us. Now keep in mind I was hit by another lady and my truck was totaled, how am I supposed to get to work and find a new car on Sunday when they said the car was due back what good dose having a rental forgone day when my truck was totaled! And the lady the helped me their originally said it was due back on the 23rd. So when I asked to speak to the manager the guy said that's me! He wouldn't give me his name until I asked for the DM he didn't want to hear what I was told when I went in the first time he just wanted my money! Very rude about it all. So he charged my card for the 200 more I then asked for my receipt and the DM name number he slaps the receipt down on the counter, with a phone number and I aggain asked if this is the DM number and what the name was instead of writing it down for me he tells me the name as his back was towards me walking away. So as we leave the other guy sitting at the deck and this so called manager tray both were Very sarcastic and yelling at us buy thank you so much have a great day. I used an Entertainment book 10% off coupon.). When I returned the car the following day, they gave me a free ride to 104th St, which is a 10 minute drive from the car rental location.
