I was helped by Todd Sibley on getting my rental after my car was stolen. It was a pretty horrible week but my insurance helped me get a rental for the time being. Luckily in the time I had the rental my car was recovered. The whole process was surprisingly easy and quick and the time I had the rental was honestly amazing. The customer service started out okay, but apparently they don't care what happens after you get your rental. I received a rental that had multiple maintenance issues, bells going off constantly. When they called me to check-in the day after I got my rental, I let them know it had maintenance issues and I wasn't enjoying listening to the constant beeping (mind you, I'm supposed to have this car for the next 3-4 weeks while mine is fixed). They said ok, no problem, bring it in today and we'll swap it out for a different car. I say, ok I'll be there at 5pm today. I show up at 5pm and the girl says sorry, we're out of cars. So why did you tell me to come in today then? Why didn't you call me to tell me you were out of cars before I left work early to come all the way up here (45 minute drive)? She says, "Oh it just seems like you don't like the car and that's it." Ummm what?? IT HAS MAINTENANCE ISSUES AND YOU AGREED TO SWAP IT. So they will basically act like they're providing good customer service and then gaslight you about the issues with their rental cars. Will never use enterprise again after this. UPDATE: I was told to come back in this past Saturday to swap out for a different car that doesn't need maintenance. AND THEN THEY PROCEEDED TO GIVE ME A CAR PAST DUE 4X THE MILEAGE THE LAST CAR WAS. Have had issues with renting from them a few times myself. Seems like they are never on the same page as the insurance company and for some reason can't contact them for updates. The customer shouldn't be doing the leg work imo. Also, it seems like they don't take great care of their vehicles and are delayed in swapping some of them for newer models with lower mileage. read more

Picking up was fast and an easy experience. Dropped off on Sunday morning and it took forever. Guy didn't even greet me when I walked in the door - and there were four of us waiting. So - 5 starts for my pick-up experience and 1 star for drop-off. Seems like a coin flip if the experience will be good. read more

They charged my card $603 for some kind of protection that was never explained to me before the agreement and they refused to refund me. I had to sit on hold for 45 minutes while this dumb commercial says how they value their customers. We walk in and wait in line only to have people walk in and get jumped straight to the counter for absolutely no reason and zero explanation to the customers patiently waiting. After already looking like they're short staffed another employee decides it's a good idea to give people rides back home instead of asking them to wait a few mins while he checks in the customers standing there! Also all this could be avoided by simply asking the ppl in line what they're here for. Returning keys? Fine leave the keys and they can get the receipt emailed. Don't have a reservation? Fine update on if there is even anything available. Instead the agents are literally standing there like it's their first day working for the company. Aaron, the supervisor at the Morse Rd. store could not have been nicer. He made the rental process quick and easy as the whole process only took about 20 minutes from start to out-the-door. As a part of the rental preparation, I went online to register, view rental costs for a car I wanted, and make the reservation that included pick-up time and return date and time and immediately received a confirmation ID. We called the office the day before our planned rental date to let them know we would need to be picked up and brought to the store. We'd not used this free service before, but because our car was in the shop for repairs, we had no way to get to the office. They were very accommodating. Upon arrival we went inside with our documentation and our confirmation information ID. We made our selection of a car on the lot, the Enterprise associate took us outside for a closer examination. We walked around the car to see if there was any damage and then we examined the inside. Once satisfied, we went back inside to finalize our arrangements and drove off the lot. After day eight of our nine-day rental contract, we went back to Enterprise to let them know we would need to extend our previous rental for a few more days since our car was not finished with the repairs to our car. This was not a problem at all. Kyle was very helpful in the process. No new deposit was needed. We paid the rental cost for the extra days and were on our way. As before, we were reminded that if we didn't need the rental for the full length of the contract, we could turn it in during office hours or by placing the keys in the drop box. read more

Had to rent a car here after an accident, and so far the experience isn't bad. My insurance covers most of the cost and made the reservation. I ended up with a pretty small car so I wouldn't have to pay much more, and still, it's been decent. Clean car, basic, but good enough. Service was good, on the phone and in person. Pricing is decent. They seem to have a good selection. The wait was short. They got me in at the last minute, which I appreciate. read more

The worst service ever, specially by the manager on duty. I visited the place on Jan/20/17 and tried to rent a car I reserved online. He told em I couldn't rent it because I don't have a international drivers license, but I'm from Brazil and already rented from several companies and they all requests my Brazilian drivers license and my passport. This guy wanted an international drivers license which is not a mandatory document, basically because he didn't like me for I'm Asian. Every time my parents have needed a rental, they end up having to come to this location. Not sure why, but they do, and it's the biggest hassle. Most recently, we had to get a rental after my mom's van went kaput on her way to my apartment over Christmas. First, it's impossible to get anyone on the phone here. We had to call corporate just to be patched through. Second, even though they had several people not doing ANYTHING, they refused to come pick us up, so we had to take COTA (an adventure in and of itself). I thought it was company policy to pick your customers up? Then we got handed off from one worker to another and no one seemed to know what was going on. Really? What the heck? I showed up at opening and Doug took great care of me. Helped me transfer my reservation and then made sure I had a car large enough for the family and bags as we were on a vacation trip. I have been renting for over a month and during this difficult time in the world he made the experience hassle free! His customer service skills are exceptional. I rented the car couple of times at this location because it's little bit cheaper than Gahanna location. Since I live outside of the i270 belt, pick up is not an option. That is fine, I just ask my friend to drop me off. I reserved full size car but they tried to put me in mid size car for the same price. Ive informed the agent that, I need a car big enough for 5 people but they did not have full size vehicle. They told me that they have SUV but have to pay for the upgrades. I asked the agent that when reserved car class is not available then upgrade should be compliment, but they applied that they need those for later reservation. Funny fact, lady ahead of me got double free upgrades because she did not want to drive certain car. But yet they refused to give me upgrades because they did not want to give me SUV. I know it's all about sales but it was ridiculous. Well, I did get the SUV with upgrade charge because I did not have much time. When I returned the vehicle and I've checked the app and guess what I saw is that I got charged for full size car and rented full size SUV. The last few times I've rented from here, I've had to either get the oil changed on the car or continuously stop to put air in tires that clearly weren't checked. The best was when I reserved a non-smoking rental and got a car that wreaked of 'air freshener' and smoke.... customer service is terrible and unfriendly except for 1 gentleman in the place. In short my company does too much business with them so I'll look for another location to rent from. read more

Ok, I'm a big fan of Enterprise and its always my preferred rental company. However my recent experience at this location was quite bad, especially with one of their agent Mr R, which forced me to write this review. So I had rented a mid-size car for this Christmas weekend, when I called early in the morning to schedule a pick up this guy tells me all our pick up are booked for the day (??) - I understand its busy weekend but he could be polite in addressing a customer. Anyway I manage a ride somehow, now my pick up was noon and I was late by an hour, this same guy tells me you're late and we don't have your car anymore (very rudely), the only option is upgrade to full size for double the price. I told him pls accommodate that I am driving to NY (8hrs drive) with family and kids but he didn't show any empathy. I understand its my mistake that I'm late and didn't inform them but again he could he could be courteous in addressing the customer but he didn't do any of it. Lastly he said he has one option to downgrade me to compact car but only 1 car is available no choice given there, its like take it or leave it. He knew around this holiday time no one would cancel their plan so I had no choice, but then I was charged the same price for downgraded version. All I feel is whole situation could have been handled better, care for your customer, you want them to come back and not leave them with a bad taste. I usually don't write negative reviews, I just let go but not this time when someone has ruined my vacation. read more

I just rented a van for a vacation from this location. We had gift certificates from AMEX that we were supposed to log in when we made the reservation and we didn't. They could have turned us away and told us to make a new reservation using the certificates, however they did everything they could including call AMEX and setting up a new reservation through the main office. If I could pick no stars I would. The car they gave me was awful. It smelled like smoke so heavily. It was dirty on the inside. I found sunflower seeds that had been sucked on in the door pocket. I reserved a cargo van approximately 4 weeks prior to pick up at the location on 3245 Morse Road in Columbus, OH. Since it was a cargo van, I needed to call the branch directly to see if they had any available. It turned out they were and I set the appointment for the 29th and 30th. I was using the vehicle to move items and planned an event around it, having about 8 people involved to participate. I asked the people if I could put a credit card down to reserve the car and I was told that was not necessary. On the day of the pick up, I was running behind as a move day is very hectic. I called the company at approximately 11am and told them I was coming to pick up the cargo van. They then told me that "my manager attempted to contact you so we do not have the cargo van for you." After reviewing my phone log and messages during that time frame that is a significant lie on the part of the Enterprise employee. I told him he need to make this right as he gave away my car without contacting me. He then told me it was "my fault" for not calling. Please note at no time during the reservation process was I ever told I needed to do that to keep my car. I even asked for something in writing they could share about this rule, and they did not even respond to the request. I asked several times for this information. I finally arrived at the Enterprise location where the manager at the time informed me there was nothing he could do. He already gave away my car. I then told him that was unacceptable and he needed to come up with an alternative. He first told me I could drive all the way to Obetz, that they "might have something". He did not want to drive all the way out there to pick up the car for me. He then offered me a minivan, which again would not even hold 1 piece of furniture I was needing to move. All in all, just a horrible experience. The people at this location really had no regard for their actions nor did they care they put me in a very difficult position. They offered no appropriate alternative and really did not care. They were not going to "pick me up" as Enterprise does in its commercials. Thankfully, a competitor was across the street and I was able to rent me what I needed The experience was the worst experience I have ever had. I really felt like the people at Enterprise did not care and showed such a massive disregard to any level of customer service. I am even a EPlus Member, and this is how I was treated. I came to Enterprise because of their general reputation of being great customer service representatives. After this experience, I will say I will NEVER go to this location again. I am definitely going to be shopping for a new rental establishment when I or my team travel in the future. The gentleman I spoke primarily during my visit did not give me his name. He was slender build, about 5'10" and I believe of Indian . It has been several weeks without any response. Awful service. read more

Just had the work experience of my life at Enterprise on Morse road. Branch Manager Jaytee Brown didn't want to help me at all. I provided every document they asked for, the payment , and drivers license but they still were finding ways to not give me a car. I can't believe the way in which I was treated. I let it be known how urgent the situation was but there was still no attention directed towards my situation. I will never use enterprise ever again or suggest it to anyone. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had in retail, food, and any type of business. Enterprise prides themselves on great customer service and always helping out the customer needs. You guys fell so short of the core values the company stands and operates by that I am appalled. It is mind boggling and absolutely astonishing that Mr. Brown represents Enterprise. My experience with Enterprise on Morse are was a pretty good one. I chose Enterprise because I wanted to use my debit card, and several other big name rental companies pull your credit. I certainly don't want to waste a credit pull on a car rental. I reserved an Intermediate class vehicle online for 4 days at a price of about $110. This was to be a Chrysler 200 or similar. Upon arrival I was offered a VW Beetle, which I was quite happy with. Unfortunately the vehicle had a low oil light when I started the engine to leave, so I had to go back inside. After 2 different employees confirmed that it was indeed a low oil light, I was offered a different vehicle. For my troubles, they gave me a free upgrade. Having a Dodge Challenger for the weekend made my trip out of town even better. I'll rent from Enterprise again, because when faced with a problem they went above and beyond to make it right. read more

My insurance company rented my a car at Entreprise on Morse Rd on December 26, 2016 due to a car accident that I had. Everything was good with the rental until March 10, 2017 when the manager reported the car stolen because he could not get in touch with me. The reason why he could not get in touch with me (which he did not give me a chance to explain) was because my phone had broke earlier that week and was in the process in purchasing another phone. I called Entreprise that Friday morning to explain the situation and he told me to bring the car back because he reported it stolen. I left work and took the car back which then he stated he was going to call the police. I told him to go ahead and I'll wait because there was no reason for him to call the police. I have spent so much money with this Enterprise in the past renting cars. I'm very displeased with the Entreprise on Morse Rd. they are very rude and unprofessional. I will never rent another car with them nor will I have my insurance company rent a car for me there. Very unhappy customer. read more
