    Worse service for the 30 plus years with AAA. Waiting over 5 hours for a tow truck to arrive. AAA is a total waste of money. IVAN

I had a list of particular things that were important to me in choosing where to stay. I gave Angel my list and she came back to me quickly with a list of properties. We took a look at everything and one really caught our attention-Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. It's an all inclusive family resort, on a calm and beautiful beach, with high ratings. She told me it checked off every box we had. After a 7 night stay, I can confirm this 100%. This resort was everything we wanted and more. We aren't the type of people to stay in one place for 7 days but we found everything at this resort so incredible that we never left it. Our 6 year old had the time of his life there, and so did we! The resort was stunning, clean and inviting at every turn. The staff was hospitable, kind, and attentive. The food was plentiful and delicious. The beach was calm enough for us to feel comfortable with a younger child who is still learning how to swim well. The resort also has activities geared towards kids and a Kids Club where the adults could have an evening or two for a date. Angel knew exactly which resort was the one for us! Angel also arranged our transportation from the airport to the resort and back to the airport. The transport was clean, air conditioned well and efficient. They came ready with drinks and snacks - we couldn't get enough of the plantain chips! The airport transport area was hectic and I was very glad to have already arranged our transport - the driver also found us which was very welcomed after a long travel day. My husband and I love travel and love trying new places. We typically do not return to a destination because there's so much of the world to see - however we both already are talking about when we should return to Punta Cana to stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana again! This vacation was everything we desired it to be! Thank you Angel and Island Travel!

    On a beautiful Saturday night - no rain, snow, sleet or ice - with no extenuating conditions - I…read morehad a flat tire and called for road service. I should note that my car is not equipped with a spare tire or a jack and I know AAA that I would need a tow. I was on US route 119 about 4 miles from Mt Pleasant, PA to the south and 4 miles from I-70 and New Stanton, PA to the north. My first call to AAA was at 11pm. They promised to either call back or text back with an update. I called them again every 45 minutes to an hour. They never called or texted an update. At one point, they suggested I leave the car unattended and they'd get towed around 4am. The only problem with that was we were stranded along the highway with no way to get to our hotel. At around 2am (I've now been sitting along the road for 3 hours), AAA actually suggested I just call 911 and let the police handle it. They did promise that they will reimburse me for the tow. Thanks to the dispatcher working the late shift with the PA State Police. She had a tow truck there within 30 minutes and we finally got towed into New Stanton around 3am. Two lessons learned: 1. Never buy a car that isn't equipped with a spare tire and a jack and 2. Don't rely on AAA for help when you need it - if they can't get a tow on a nice evening with no other weather related issues, I hate to think what their service must be like in challenging conditions. One last note, as the police arranged tow arrived and as I was trying to call AAA to cancel my request, they did finally (@ 2:30am), call to say they were dispatching a tow from Pittsburgh (30-40 miles away) and that he'd be there in 45 minutes. Thanks but no thanks,

I've used Polaris Traveler for 2 vacations through Apple Vacations. Jamaica and Mexico. They were both AMAZING vacations. I believe that was due to the fact that we chose really good hotels, with suggestions from the travel agent there. I booked both of them with Yvonne. She's a little bit abrupt and borderline rude. But, she gets down to business. When I asked her questions, if I could get passed her tone, I could determine if the information she was giving me would work for me or not. We GOT THINGS ACCOMPLISHED!! I like people that are straight forward and to the point. On the flip side of that, there is a man that works there. First of all, he talks entirely too much and you have to filter through all the mumbo jumbo. Secondly, I just got off the phone with him and I could not get him to help me with anything except talking excessively. I asked the same question 4 TIME AND I STILL DID NOT GET ANYWHERE with this guy. He just flat out would not help me over the phone. Honestly, either this company has so many clients and people ringing their phones that they don't need my business or there's some customer service training needed. That's putting it nicely. I asked him if they had any specials and the most roundabout open ended, undecipherable answer that led me nowhere. (I'm slightly annoyed right now because I need a vacation in the worst way) However, they will book you a FANSTASTIC VACATION!!! (I know this, I've used them TWICE) IF #1 You can get Yvonne, you can get past her aggressive, abrupt, and condescending tone. #2 if you can motivate the guy that works there to do some research for you like a travel agency is supposed to, instead of talking in circles and telling you how many times HE'S BEEN TO NEGRIL AND RIVIERA MAYA. I just wish I could get a little less attitude from Yvonne and a little more service from the guy who's name I cannot remember because he talked so much. Considering that most weeklong, all inclusive vacations, at moderate resorts are priced about $1400, I don't think that's too much to ask for. Less Attitude, more business. I'm now on the hunt for a new travel agency.
