When my car needed more time to fix, Cherry Hill Volvo arranged for me to get a rental car from this location. I have to say, after dropping me off the staff there took good care of me. Checking in was a breeze. Maura was friendly, courteous and very efficient getting me into the car. Always had a smile. The car was clean, and drove well. No complaints. The following day my return was even easier. Simply left the car with Cherry Hill Volvo and they took care of the rest. Maura gave me a followup call to confirm everything was finished and explained my deposit return. Overall a great experience. read more

Not good customer service. Attempted to pick up a vehicle with a 6pm pick up, and got shooed away by of the workers before he walked up and Turned off all of the lights. A simple "hello can I help you?" would have sufficed. Maybe we can work on increasing our customer service skills. read more

"They can TAKE a reservation, but they can't KEEP a reservation." I called to see if the car that I confirmed, and paid for, on the app the night prior would be available 30 minutes earlier or if they needed time to get the car ready. Was told they "can't guarantee the size SUV I needed would be available." No one called to tell me my car that i reserved would be available only by luck of the draw! They called me at 4:39pm the day prior to "confirm my reservation." I called back an hour later and the business was closed. So then i proceeded to confirm on line with credit card payment and scan of my license. At no point during any of this did anyone call to tell me the size of car I need is NOT available or MAY NOT be available, and they had the nerve to blame it on me that I didn't call them back. They literally gave me 21 minutes before office closed! Now I'm stuck with no way to get my family where we need to go today. Unreal. Don't bother with Enterprise, and certainly not this location. read more

Came here because I was offered a rental through my dealership when my own car was in for service. Enterprise vehicle was dirty, they offered to clean it again when I asked. I returned the car less than 2 hours because it did not run well, which was very surprising considering it was a 2024. Their response was just to accept the rental back and give me a ride home. Gave me a mid-sized Kia K5 (replaces the Kia Optima) for the full price of what Enterprise considers a "full size" vehicle. "Only" $103.33 for 24 hours to rent this vehicle that didn't include the $50 insurance. Expect to be heavily pressured into buying these expensive insurance products. I was even asked for my insurance company, insurance contact information, insurance policy number and insurance deductible amount to intimidate me in buying the $50 insurance add-one. Oh and they require a $400 deposit at the time of the rental as a "hold" to protect the vehicle. It's all about the money here and not the customers! read more

Makes me wonder whether the car was sanitized. 1/28/21 Update. After leaving my original review, I received a bill for over $1500 today on claims that there was damage on the vehicle. This is a month after I dropped off the vehicle on Dec 30. Also, I received a receipt the day I dropped it off and all was fine. I am very . Rented a car from Enterprise in Somerdale. Car was not clean. Still had trash from previous renter inside. Made a reservation for a Standard Size Vehicle and when I go to pick up the vehicle they don't have what I reserved. So the give me the car I had instead of upgrading my vehicle they down grade and said there is not much difference. The problem is that is not what I requested. So when my car was in the shop, I needed a rental CollisionMax recommended Enterprise, and they coordinated with the insurance company so that I pretty much had to just show up. The car was clean, new, and ready. The guys are pleasant and knowledgeable, and the experience as a whole was very good. Why not five stars? I had scheduled an 8am pickup, which was the earliest they could arrange and already had me an hour late for work. As I waited at the repair shop the very knowledgeable girl told me she'd call 'just to check'. I'm glad she did, apparently an 8am pickup means all of crap, you have to get there and call before they'll come for you. Very annoying, especially if the CollisionMax staff didn't know. I'd still be sitting there! Other minor issues? Give me a car with more than 1/4 tank of gas. I'm renting a car because I need to go somewhere, and that probably isn't the gas station. Also, clean the bugs out of the lights in your office, as I was waiting for my paperwork all I could imagine is one of these mascots dropping down my collar. Yikes! read more

The gentleman that picked me up was friendly and easy to talk to, and it only took about 5 minutes once we got back to the office to get me back on the road! I couldn't be happier. Was completely shocked to see my bill from this location and they were not upfront with the true rental costs. A portion of this rental was paid by my insurance but the cost I was actually responsible for was different then what they communicated. Beware when dealing with this location as they do not communicate charges and you could easily get charged more than what they communicate. Car was ok, wasn't too many to choose from. I had to rent a car for a few days because mine was in the shop. I had used Hertz before and decided I was not going to do that again. The first perk is that they were open at 7am. I needed to get the car and get going so this was welcome. The rental process only tool about 7 minutes and I was on muy way (in the exact same model car I got from Hertz at half the cost.) When I needed the car an extra day, I called and was finished with the extension in less then a minute. I had to drop the car off after work so the office was closed. But I received a call from them the next morning letting me know that they had the car and all was well. Great experience, great price, great employees. read more

Downgraded from 5 to 3 because my faith in Enterprise as a company has been essentially cut in half. Enterprise at some point recently doubled their "second driver fee" from $10 to $20 per day, and that does not appear to be disclosed anywhere until you go to check out. This makes it very difficult to comparison shop, but once you do run quotes, I believe my other, now preferred vendor will always win in price, because Enterprise has decided to charge more than the $19.99 rental itself, another $20 just for the privilege of having a relief driver. That tips the scale against my ever being able to rent from Enterprise, unless I am driving solo. And it is very discouraging. Wow, I thought it was just me that had received mediocre service! I wish I would have read these reviews, prior to my insurance company making a reservation with this location. My car accident occurred on the evening of 1/7/2020. I was contacted by this enterprise location on the morning of 1/8, I missed their call, but returned the call 15 mins later. Was surprised when I was told by a rep that there were no available cars to rent. Really? At 9:00 am? I should've pressed more, but thankfully I was able to use my husband's car to get to work. I arrive on 1/9, and was informed that I needed to put a $300+ deposit to rent a vehicle similar to what I currently own. I also overheard another rep speaking to a customer on the phone, and the customer was offered a pick up service. I never was offered to be picked up. I ended up going with a Chevy Malibu, from an Audi Q7....that same Malibu was JUST returned from the customer in front of me from JFK airport. I've rented with enterprise before, and received exceptional service each time. This location needs a complete overhaul. I finally got my vehicle back, only to now see I've been overcharged! 1st thing they rented me a Ford Focus that had an expired inspection. I received 2 tickets in 1 day & had to bring them to Cherry Hill. They told me they would take care of it. Think I will have to stop renting from this location and wait for the others to reopen. So within the past month, I rented from this location I believe twice or three times. Spent well over $1,000 in rentals. The problems I had was one suv i was renting for a few days, the engine warning light came on and I had to wait until they opened the next day to swap vehicles. It was very nerve reckoning because I still had to drive the vehicle with the engine light on because locations were closed and the roadside assistance they use told me that should be fine. The fact of not knowing what is wrong with a car, and still having to operate it, with fear of possibly being stranded or messing something up further, and then getting blamed for it, having to pay was a pain within itself. Next issue is some of the vehicles I have rented don't seem to be maintenance like they should. Some of their handlings are terrible or even some of the braking where the steering wheel would pull to one side or another. Lastly my other problem which sorta lead me to do this review is the hold they place on your card and how long it is being held. Now this wasn't my first time renting through Enterprise. I have rented numerous of times, with two different cards and two different locations. I pay a security deposit which is well and good. Every time I rented that deposit was refunded back to my card in one or two days at the very most after returning the rental. Security deposit has always been $200 which is fine, and I do. I have no idea why currently I have a hold on my card still from a rental I returned over a week ago of almost $400!!! I feel as though my refund wasn't processed properly or something. I did absolutely nothing different and didn't use a card that I haven't already used before, and like I said, I usually see the refund within two days max. With that being said, it's definitely something I have to keep in mind for when planning to rent again from Enterprise or even this location. $400 is a lot to have held on your card for 30 days if that's how long it will take this time. I was directed to this Enterprise from my car dealership while my car was being fixed die to a recall. I was picked up by an associate, and taken in. I thought I'd be placed in something similar to my car, size wise. I was picked up in a Chevrolet Captiva, which is a smaller SUV. I own a Malibu, so a sedan would have been nice. I was told that this was the only GM model car they had on their lot, and my dealer would only pay for GM models are rentals. So reluctantly, I took this car... I HATED IT! It was uncomfortable driving it, being super tall, in a little clown truck. I called enterprise on numerous occasions and they said they'd be happy to switch out my car, but every time I called, no matter what day it was, they had no GM models available. In fact I was told more than once that their lots was completely empty. ummm, call me crazy, but maybe this location needs a bigger inventory. read more

STAY AWAY from MANAGER JOHN HILL!!!!! I went in to rent a car today and John Hill was the Manager on Duty. He had a brand new kid on the floor along with another employee. the new kid comes to wait on me and he knows just about how to turn on the computer after that he's stuck he took forever to log me in couldn't give me prices, didn't know what an SUV is he actually told me they don't have them there so ok I get it the kid is new I gave him all the time in the world to help me so after I ask how much the cars are he can't reference any prices so JOHN HILL MANAGER with his head buried in the PC you think would help this kid out instead he got annoyed the kid asked him two questions then pulled him off the counter (RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF WAITING ON ME) told him to give another customer a ride home left me standing there my license and credit card on the keyboard and proceeded to bury his head in the PC yet again, 35 minutes, no car, no customer service no apology and he was an absolute dismissive asshole to boot. I went online and booked a car at enterprise at a competitive rate, showed up for pickup the next morning and I was on the road in less than 10 minutes. While I had the car the office called me at 5pm to see if I needed anything. I dropped the car at 6pm and again, was in and out in 5 minutes. Could not have been a better experience. HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE / LIES GALORE. Joe (the supervisor) thinks it's ok to repeatedly speak over people and mislead people into using their service. Late May, I bought a brand new 2015 Ford Focus ST3 that got rear-ended while parked a month after purchasing. After sorting out everything with insurance, I felt the responsible party's insurance (Grange Insurance) was taking too long to get someone out to do the estimate. With them taking responsibility, I decided I would go through my insurance and have Grange reimburse them. I dropped my car off to Winners Ford (where I purchased it) for the repair. Grange told me they would reimburse me for my rental after I paid for it so I decided I would just use the rental to get back to Philadelphia and return it there since I have a secondary car. I figured then I would only have to be reimbursed for one day. I got to the Enterprise and told them what Grange told me ($500 hold on my credit card and about $30 per day.) As they processed the rental, they told me they would be able to directly bill Grange... I questioned were they sure, reinforcing what Grange had told me and they told me they would. Considering they work with claims/insurance often, I figured they knew of some loophole or way around it. And without me having to spend anything out of pocket, I said I would hold the car all the way through the repair then. Then I receive a call this morning telling me that Grange said they would not allow them to bill them directly. They start informing me that I have a near $500 balance at this point and that it would have to be paid when I return the car. I begin to question them telling them what I told them the day I rented the car (how I would return the car the day of until they told me they would be able to bill Grange directly.) They begin to claim they tried calling me on the 8th but I have no voicemail in my inbox. Even at that point, I would have amassed $250+ in charges at that point that would have only been there due to lies that mislead me into believing I would not pay anything out of pocket. While doing this, "Joe" is extremely rude, repeatedly cutting me off throughout the conversation like what I have to say holds no bearing when in reality, supervisor or not he's still a customer service representative. I even questioned how he attained that position with that type of lack of service skills following that up asking if it isn't true that he would scold one of his employees if he gave that type of service to a customer. He agreed. At this point I was yelling. It's beginning to sound more and more like they were just trying to make a buck off me renting with them. I assume their dealer receives commissions/bonuses for rentals. Will never deal with Enterprise again. I already made a formal complaint to Enterprise through customer service and they said their regional manager would be looking into it. Next is the Better Business Bureau. I don't take this type of conniving thievery and disrespect well. Never again... read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had a rental for not even 2 days and I'm getting fined for "adhesive" on the door (tree sap.....) and scratches on on the roof. Before I got the keys the man said let's take a trip around the car to see if there's anything bigger then a golf ball, there wasn't. Probably my final update 3 days later I was notified by Corporate Risk Management to contact the the district Risk Management office in Coconut Creek (Dave K). I have left two messages over the past 3 days with no response. As I have noted before, it is very clear customer service is NOT a priority with Enterprise. I get a kick out "Award-Winning Customer Service" and "60 YEARS OF TRUST" listed on their site. ---------------------------------- Update 2 days later I was told by a employee at this branch that my son could rent the car if the insurance was changed to his name for a rental. I just called and was told by the Manager, Shane, that this is NOT the case and they would "know" if my son was renting instead of me. Meanwhile, based on the previous information I spent a good deal of time getting things switched over to my son's name. Separately, I called the corporate office about why I was on this list and they could not tell me. Mind you, this is the number the local branch said I needed to call to get off the list. In my opinion, Enterprise is run by a bunch of childish adults that have not learned to act like adults when it comes to running a business. They have no care for their customers and feel that they are more important then the folks they rent too. I spent hours of my time trying to figure this out and straighten things out but was lied to and forced to waste a bunch of time for no reason. Please do yourself a favor and do not rent from Enterprise and definitely stay away from this branch. ------------------------------------- 2:30pm EDIT: So I called back to customer care and was told that yes I am on a "do not rent list" but could not tell me why. She also admitted that previous customer care folks should have told me that so I did not waste time driving to the branch. Finally she said that will get a call back from the local branch explaining why I am on some black list. I am not holding my breath at this point... ------------------------------------- 12:00 EDIT: So I just got back from driving down to the branch (they never called me and ADMITTED they we NOT answering the phone). After a short wait the agent came back and told me they cannot rent to me as I am on a "do not rent list". Just believable. I can imagine it is from the last time when it took two weeks to rent a car and I complained to corporate... so apparently the branch retaliated by putting me on some list. NOBODY on the several phone calls I made to Enterprise told me this. So it was a complete waste of my time, energy and gas for no reason. Mind you, I have rented 1000s of cars over my 35 year corporate career. ------------------------------------- Original LOL... This company has NO customer care at all. I have NEVER had a positive experience. Unfortunately, they are the car rental company for our insurance. I called the 1 800 number and was told I had to call the branch to rent a car... WTH? When I called the West Boca Raton branch I get what sounds like a fax tone or something. I called back to the 1-800 number and they heard the same thing then proceeded to tell me they could do nothing for me except to send me to another location several more miles away. Again... WTH? HOW is it possible to NOT be able to rent a car, when covered by insurance, through the reservation system? I mean you are FORCED to call or go to the location! Absolutely insane!!!! Finally got put through to escalations. They simply said they will send an email to the branch and the branch will call me. I asked "what if they don't call me" and she said to get in my car an go down there anyway!! First... WHY should I waste MY time? Second... Enterprise says THEY will pick up! LOL what a cluster. This is the second time I have gone through this with Enterprise. The last time it took TWO WEEKS to get straightened out. Meanwhile the 30 day clock for insurance to pay has already started.
