Enterprise rental is the worse. I was in an accident in May where my car was a total loss. I was given a car through Enterprise. On my way home a flatbed rubbed up against my car. There was a black rubbery streak on the right bumper. There was no paint or structure damage. It needed to be buffed out. Oh No !!! Enterprise charged my insurance $3000 dollars plus I was billed $1000 for the deductible. Enterprise then charged my credit card $445.00 for the loss when it was being fixed. They never notified me of this charge nor did they sent me a bill, When they asked for my card the salesman said we won't use it we just need it on file. That is called BULLSHIT. They did not have permission and it was put on my card the day I returned the vehicle. They must have a Chrystal ball !!! read more

A couple of days after I picked up the rental, I tried calling the enterprise phone number 570-457-3624, printed on the agreement, which no one answered and a recording asks to enter the remote access code. What is the remote access code!? I wasn't given a remote access code when I picked up the rental! I finally googled the Enterprise customer service # and reported that I was having problems with low pressure on one of the tires. The Enterprise representative told me to take the rental to an approved provider and pay $55 to have the tire checked. This rental experience was a total nightmare! I offered to take the car to the airport to swap it for one that didn't have any problems because I expected a safe and worry free experience. But I was told that Enterprise doesn't do swaps. I ended up taking the car to tap off the air on the low pressure tire a few times in the 12 days of my rental. This experience is not at all what I expected from Enterprise. FYI, potential customers, Enterprise and National have merged. So, if you want a better rental experience, use another provider. read more

Similar experience to the previous renter, except I rented the car late at night and couldn't see the dent so they ended up charging me for it - over $500. Then, they charged me for the so-called "loss use" and have since refused to provide me with their fleet logs. The fleet logs would show if they actually had other vehicles in the same category on the same day, which, if available would demonstrate they actually had no loss. It's quite a racket they have going, and I've been meeting with a law firm that specializes in class action lawsuits about this specific predatory practice. Just avoid this company. My wife and I had to stop here to swap out a rental car on our vacation. We stopped in 7/9/17 after the car we picked up at our local Enterprise had some electrical issues. We called the main office and they had us stop here to swap out. The lady who was at the counter was in her 70s and had NO IDEA how to use a computer. She was extremely rude and did not care at all that we got a rental car that had issues. She gives us the keys to another car and when we go out, this thing is dirty as all get out inside. Someone spilled something on the seat and it was sticky. The lady inside was less than pleasant about it and was rude to everyone she interacted with that was in line to get pick up or drop off. 0/10 will never stop here again. read more

Very happy with my rental, flight was delayed for 6 hours so didn't get to the rental desk till pass 11 pm. agent was great checked me in and had me on my way in a short time. next time I head home will have no problem using them again. Great job in Avoca!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I will NOT be renting from this location again. My home town location treats me much better and any business who purposely over sells the cars and does not keep my reservation is not likely going to get any more business from me. I don't agree with their management concept of customer service where you reserve a car, but it's not guaranteed to be there when you arrive. The guy at the desk said it happens a lot and management would rather sell out than have cars left. Well - you will have a harder time selling out when you treat your loyalty customers and customers in general the way you do! You won't get this chance with me again - HORRIBLE situations are created for customers at this place!!! read more

Great service here . I drove a Ford Fusion Sel with the luxury package at the weekend rate. Stephanie was able to help us upgrade from our original car because my wife could not get used to the small Hyundai that was offered. Beautiful ride . I can't remember the last time I drove straight for 5 hours without feeling crippled. The switch allowed me to see my parents in Hudson NH. I'm considering this same model for a replacement . Staff upon drop off was equally helpful with no hassle and provided info on used sales from rentals. read more

Reserved a car for a upcoming trip and when I got there, they proceeded to tell me that there were no cars available and they wouldn't know when they would have a car available. Not even a call to inform me of this change in status of my reservation. read more

I am happy to give a five-star rating as I have been renting cars from Enterprise at the Avoca Airport for several years when visiting from California and always had a good experience with the cars and customer service. Last week I scored a discount rate through AARP and rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee which my husband and I drove from Wilkes-Barre to Los Angeles. The SUV was spotless and in perfect working order. And I must give a shout out to Shannon who had the Jeep cleaned for me and to management trainee Damien Fondo who patiently made sure my husband and I were comfortable with the high-tech features. Then, returning the Jeep to Enterprise at Burbank Airport was a breeze. Five-stars from coast to coast! read more
