There was a black rubbery streak on the right bumper. There was no paint or structure damage. It needed to be buffed out. Oh No !!! Enterprise charged my insurance $3000 dollars plus I was billed $1000 for the deductible. Enterprise then charged my credit card $445.00 for the loss when it was being fixed. They never notified me of this charge nor did they sent me a bill, When they asked for my card the salesman said we won't use it we just need it on file. That is called BULLSHIT. They did not have permission and it was put on my card the day I returned the vehicle. They must have a Chrystal ball !!!

What is the remote access code!? I wasn't given a remote access code when I picked up the rental! I finally googled the Enterprise customer service # and reported that I was having problems with low pressure on one of the tires. The Enterprise representative told me to take the rental to an approved provider and pay $55 to have the tire checked. This rental experience was a total nightmare! I offered to take the car to the airport to swap it for one that didn't have any problems because I expected a safe and worry free experience. But I was told that Enterprise doesn't do swaps. I ended up taking the car to tap off the air on the low pressure tire a few times in the 12 days of my rental. This experience is not at all what I expected from Enterprise. FYI, potential customers, Enterprise and National have merged. So, if you want a better rental experience, use another provider.

Because the airport is very small and there's usually at most 1 or 2 people in front of you (and most of the time, none!), you can drop in and out to get/drop off your car in just 5 minutes! The only things that made this less than 5 stars was..there's no place to view and pick your own car. I have a President's Circle membership and enjoy walking at the lot to pick the car that I want, but this place will upgrade you with a choice of one or two cars that they have (but since I don't know so much about cars, the choices don't mean anything much to me unless I see the actual cars!). The other thing is..you have to go pick up and drop off the car at a lot yourself and walk to a counter inside the airport to talk to a staff. It's pretty much a self service type of thing...so add maybe 10 minutes to your drop off time so you aren't in a rush to get on your flight when you drop your car off, too!

I offered to give him the Avis discount code, but he said that he'd just give me a discount anyway. Fortunately, I didn't *need* the loss damage waiver that was included with that other code. Returning the car was easy, more so because they were not yet open at 5:00 AM when my flight was boarding. I put the keys in the drop box and I've heard absolutely nothing from them. No email with my final cost or a final invoice or anything. So next time, I'll insist on it being rented through Avis.

I could not find 1 single car available to rent in that area that would allow me to rent the car in PA and return it in NJ, including 2 different Enterprise locations in that area. I ended up reserving a car at this Scranton Enterprise, but the corporate agent on the phone told me that I could NOT return the car the next day at the location in NJ, because even though they were open on Saturdays, they do not accept returns until Monday. Even though this sounded insane to me, I was forced to agree because I had no other options. I assumed the corporate office just wanted to bilk me for a 3 day rental because I was in a vulnerable position. Once I arrived at the Scranton location, I dealt with Salvatore, who immediately recognized that my forced 3-day rental made no sense, he adjusted it to 1 day and upgraded my vehicle. He was very nice, effective, and efficient. He apologized for my treatment, explained to me that it was not their office that made such outrageous restrictions on my rental, and got me on my way quickly. I was very happy and relieved at that point.

They promised to arrive at 7 AM, but didn't come until 8 AM. Later, they promised a 9 AM van, which didn't arrive until after 10 AM. When we raised concerns, the staff said that if we had a 10 AM flight, we should have booked a 5 AM van, implying it was our fault. This is unhelpful, unreasonable, and rude. Because of these repeated delays and mistakes, we missed both our flight and our bus. I have been living in the USA for 3 months, and this has been the worst experience I've had. Their service is unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

At the time I booked with them, I didn't know the precise address of our VRBO property so I told them I would get them that address ASAP. Black Tie called me the day before my scheduled trip to remind me about the address. I called them back immediately to give it to them. However, the voicemail I received from Tom was incredibly snarky and sarcastic. One direct quote: "VRBO properties encompasses two counties up there in the Pocono Mountains, so if we go around to a couple of their different 237 spots that they have listed, it could take us most of the day to find you." I get the point - you need the address. There is no reason to be snarky. However, this alone would not have warranted a 1-star review. The next red flag was on the morning of the trip. I received a call from the driver who was asking me a million questions encompassing all of the information I had already provided. I had given them our address, but he was pushy because I hadn't provided the zip code. He asked me to verify the order of wineries and breweries, but when I did it by name of the winery/brewery, he interrupted and asked me to do it by city. So I had to look up the document I provided to them months before to do so. It seemed clear to me that they didn't want to take this trip or were somehow unhappy with the pricing we had agreed on months before. The final straw was at 11:41AM - 19 minutes before they were supposed to pick us up (at the address we had provided the day before) - I received another call from Tom. He told me that the water pump in the van broke and that they didn't have a replacement vehicle so he would be refunding my money. While I get the refund, that doesn't fully rectify the issue, since I was left without transportation for the day. If this had been something more important - like a wedding - I'm sure I would have insisted that they rent a vehicle or do something to provide the scheduled service. However, given their bad attitudes and pushiness, I decided to take the money and hope that the check didn't bounce. I will never use this company again and I would be reticent to recommend them to anyone given their last minute cancellation.
