To find out what was wrong and call me before they did anything. (I was at work, and my elderly parents 87, and 86 were at home). They didn't call me. They just fixed the leak and added the freon without calling me. I wanted to find out what they were going to charge me for the freon because we knew someone who would do it much cheaper. Since the leak caused the freon to go out in my mind they should have done it all for under warranty since the unit cost me 6 grand and barely went two years before the problem developed. I was billed in full for several hundred dollars. When I called them back to ask them why they didn't call they tried to deny once again that the air conditioner was under warranty. I had them look it up again and when they did and admitted once again that it was under warranty they informed me they would take off the service call and that I still had to pay 540 dollars. I could have gotten the freon from someone else for less than 300. If you spend a ton of money on a new unit with this company, prepare for them to be extremely unorganized and prepare for them to attempt to deny your warranty if you ever have an issue. The lady who takes the phone calls is nearly impossible to work with.

I called my buddy from Pasadena who advised me to call Ismael the owner. He came over and had my units working perfectly and cooling. The other company overcharged my system with Freon which would have eventually killed my compressor. The only thing wrong with the A/C unit was it needed a new capacitor. With his assistant made a claim against the company and got my money back. I moved here approximately three years ago, from west Texas and didn't know Ismael at all. In September 2022 Our breaker for the air conditioning tripped several times during the day when it…read morewas hot and thus the AC stopped working. When I asked Hage Energy to come and look at the issue they told me that my unit was too old and the compressor had to work too hard which caused the breaker to trip. They recommended a new system and because the freon was the old type they had the replace everything, both units inside and outside. Together It was $8000 which was a lot for this unit. Now after 8 months it is hot again and the breaker is tripping still when it is hot. Last week they send out a technician who showed on his multimeter that the amps where OK (15 amps) and that the breaker box needs to be changed. Why could they notmeasure that right away in september? Is this ethical/professional? Would you consider doing business with Hage Energy?
