When I went there, the employee said there was no order under my name because my ticket had been lost. This was careless and unprofessional. My mother-in-law visited from Chicago, so we took her to one of her old favorite spots. I only found out about this place because of her. We all tried their tasty Energetico smoothie -- seriously, it's so good! I'm not exaggerating; I love it. Three of us each had one. After the smoothies, we moved on to quesadillas. I got a mushroom quesadilla, and it was awesome. My mother-in-law had a cecina quesadilla, and everyone else got a quesadilla De asada. Honestly, my son didn't really love his quesadilla, but that's okay -- it probably doesn't look super appealing to kids. Overall, everything was delicious. This place is a hidden gem. The "IYKYK" kinda spot. Soo if you know this spot they have hand made tortillas. The portions are a good size and priced well. Hello all! It's been awhile since my last review and today I am basing this review solely on the food. It was BOOOOMB!!! I can not complain. At first not knowing they had eggs and crema on the inside and I'm not a huge fan of that I had them remake it. They were very generous about it so I can't complain. I normally phone-in my orders if I want Mexican food from here. Based off of several reviews and even my co-worker who recommended this place to me, they take quiet awhile. Plus, the parking lot--if you even want to call that unfortunate piece of space a parking lot--gets easily occupied. Your best chances are street parking or going during off hours. As for the food, authentic and delicious and not to mention, the tortillas are made from scratch! My favorites are the ridiculously mouth-watering and hefty carne asada quesadillas, the carne asada or al pastor huaraches and the al pastor tacos. I really want to try so many more from their menu like the green chicken enchiladas, sopes and chilaquiles but, quite honestly, I love getting their quesadilla. One order of that is a meal in itself. I've never dined-in so I can't say anything about the customer service inside but I've yet to have any issues on the phone and they always ask if I want everything (cilantro and onions) on my orders. So I had no idea this place was here even though I'm a born and raised Anaheim local. And I'm glad my aunt finally showed it to me! This place is super authentic and there were only Mexicans in there so you know it's legit. They have two different stations where you can order smoothies/drinks and then another where you order the food. Food is made to order so it does take a little while to come out because they make the tortillas fresh and thick for the delicious quesadillas and the Tortas are freshly prepared. We came here for breakfast and it was soooo good! I am dreaming of the quesadillas still! I also ordered a freshly made tropical juice and they use delicious cut fruit to make it to order and are flexible if you ask for any additions which I did. I just changed my rating from 5 stars to 1 star because I had the worst customer experience. I have been a customer here for almost 10 years, my to-go-to Mexican restaurant. The cashier said she wanted to charge me 50 cents to use my card, I told her I have never been charged before and to tell the owner that customers dont like to be charged for using their card. She said "we can if we want" and continued arguing rudely as if I she owned the place, i asked her what her name was because I will report her for her behavior, and she then walked away, I asked the guy standing quietly in the back to give my money back, without contest he returned my money. His name was Hugo. He claimed he was the manager but if he is the manager and his employee treated customers this way in front of him then he shouldn't be manager. Luckily there are many Mexican restaurants around. I will find other place for my WESTERN UNION transactions as well. I heard Walgreens across the street does everything on the computer and might be CHEAPER. Taqueria Los Gueros is down the street and food is better.
