My TOYOTA CAMRY 2006. After headlines service.
    Minh T.

I just call to make an appointment day before for my TOYOTA CAMRY 2006 sagging headliner service, in the next day I dropped my car to the shop after 3 hours, I got a call " It done" , He did a excellent job and a reasonable price. I will highly recommence to everyone. ** He shop had moved to: 87 Winsor street Milpitas, CA 95035

My headliner on my car was coming loose all around on the side where the curtain air bags deplored so I went on Yelp to check who can I go to so I chose Enrique Auto Upholstery unfortunately his shop is closed and he does his business from home. So I call him last Thursday and he gave me a quote over the phone after I text the photos of my headliner which was in bad shape, so we set up an appointment for this coming Saturday which is today. So I drove by to his house at 9 scheduled for pick up at 4 in the afternoon. Enrique kept in touch by texting photos of his work in progress. I was really impressed by Enrique's workmanship very professional and knows his job highly recommend him to my friends no question about it. He takes cash no check.

Enrique completed the headliner in 4 hours. He did an excellent job. He takes pride in work & sent pictures of work in progress.

    After reupholstered pictures

My mom has a 1999 Corolla with a deteriorating head upholstery that was flapping around. I found Enrique and agree with the folks with their reviews. We had my moms car reupholstered last year during the pandemic. Enrique was working from his home and was safe with Covid protocols and even wiped the keys with Clorox wipes before handing it to us. His workmanship is amazing and quality. Will definitely return for future services and definitely recommend. My moms car looks new again. Forgot to mention he provided us with pics/vids of his process. I had forgotten to take a before picture but posting after pictures.

1998 Land Rover Discovery headliner before Enrique's
    Clifford F.

Saturday afternoon, December 21, 2014...I drive up to find Enrique working on a car while I'm in my 1998 Land Rover Discovery with a saggy headliner. Before I even get out of the car Enrique is already asking what I need. I say headliner and without hesitation he gives me a price without even looking at it yet. Tells me to bring it back tomorrow morning so he can start on it. If you're not familiar with a Discovery, allow me to tell you its a lot of work to get the headliner out. Two sunroofs and various panels containing electronic plugs in the ceiling. Pain in the ass that I was not willing to tackle myself. Back to Enrique, he jumps in the truck and starts telling me 'oh man this is a lot of work' which made me think he would up his price but thankfully he didn't or I probably would have walked away. He tells me he needs to cut a piece of fabric from the original headliner so he has a sample for the fabric he needs to buy. He cuts the sample then measures the roof line to see how much fabric he needs to buy. Gets his measurements then gives me an invoice to fill out, takes a small deposit and tells me to bring it back at 9:00am and it will be done the same day. I drop it off at 9 so Enrique can start working his magic. At 12:45 I get a call from Enrique saying it would not be ready today because he had just finished taking the headliner out. He offers to send me pictures of the headliner via text but I just head over there to see the work. He has the headliner out but still has to scrape all the old material off and promises me it would be done the next day. Now before you go thinking "that's messed up, he said it would be done the same day" remember that this is the SUNDAY before Christmas, how many upholstery guys do you know that work on Sunday? So I wasn't really bothered by it since I would rather him take his time then do a rush job. I get a call Monday about 2:00pm "hello this is Enrique, your car will be ready by 4:00pm." I picked up my Discovery at 4:00pm and was happy with the work. Enrique did a good job at a great price. The color was perfect and I no longer have a saggy headliner that blow in the wind when the windows are down, my headliner is tight and toned and ready for summer! I'll definitely be going back to Enrique for more upholstery, he even offered to clean and condition my leather seats for a fair price, I just might take him up on that! So in short, go find Enrique's shop, let him know what you need and see his work for yourself. I would get a few quotes from other shops so you can compare to what Enrique quotes you and you'll see what everyone is talking about on his reasonable pricing.

Very good job on my Mercedes Benz headliner - view on the side

Great job Enrique ! Very satisfied on this headliner job. He replaced my Mercedes Benz headliner. Took extra effort to fix all the issues, good communication and great customer service. Will definitely come back again for my auto upholstery needs. Thank you Enrique.

The new one!! Crisp & clean

Enrique is incredibly professional, trustworthy, and performs high-quality headliner replacement! When I called him regarding my Mazda-6 Headliner that had been sagging for quite a while, he immediately gave me a very fair quote, and said he's available the following morning. 10 Stars!

car seats recovered in houndstooth cloth
    Peter v.

The stock black basket weave seats in my sports car had seen better days. The vinyl on the bolsters was cracking and dry. The bottom cushions had holes in them. I thought about getting OEM style recover kits, but I really wanted something unique. I like the look of historic Porsche and Mercedes cars with plaid or houndstooth cushions and backrest and figured I could get them recovered in this style if I could find an upholstery fabric I liked. I got a great deal on houndstooth fabric on e-Bay and I found Enrique was willing to supply the black vinyl and redo both seats using the existing covers as a pattern. I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. I would highly recommend Enrique's upholstery shop.

Great stitching for lower seat, and near identical color

Enrique did a great job on my headliner and really went above and beyond during these really difficult times (covid). I would recommend.

On the blue section, and there was some over-spray and it has a yellowish green tint. It took him a few quick minutes to mix some dye and he didn't really spot check for match. I asked if he could match it better but he said it could make it worse. There was also over-spray. Frankie just blocks off the untouched spot by holding a piece of cardboard. It wasn't precision and care. Also, deep scratches could be sanded, smoothed and polished to match, but he doesn't go to this level of service. He just applies putty over it and lets you know it will leave a lump. However, the match on black was very good, almost perfect. But it felt rough due to the over-spray. Overall, I had expected a more precise hand polishing process and care for matching, but it was just quick spray paint. Deep scratches really didn't get resolved. The car is now a collectors item. I was hoping for a level of quality that matches the prestige. EDIT In response to the owner; I do not use Yelp much and do not write many reviews. But they are bad experiences that are memorable enough to share and I provided evidence (invoices and pictures) to support it. The owner's lack of accountability in his response should be a concern. I've had someone asking about his work the past few weeks (2025: 9 years later) and it prompted me to help this person and update the review and even tone it down a tad for the owner's benefit. 1 and 2. The pictures uploaded appear the same quality as the original but resized. Don't believe otherwise as the owner leads you to believe. Many of you have uploaded pictures and know this is is a lie. I believe Yelp will also dispute the owner on the quality of their site. 3. As for repairing scratches, I had no issues and mearly shared the level of service ($350 - in 2016 dollars) for the community, but the owner has a problem with me sharing it. 4. The car was just as pristine in 2016 as today 2025, 1,500 miles later. I have the invoices on the work, dated before Frankie's job. In fact, I should probably write a review on it since the owner seems to have a problem with me not writing good reviews, especially if it is redundant to many other good reviews. 5. The owner is lying about the date of the job and timing of my review. The job was done on 2/6/2016. My review was dated 5/7/2016. I moved away from the area June 2016 and was very busy with preparing for the move and finishing up my life there. 6. The owner claimed he could make it right, but as he mentioned during the job, he did not want to fix the mismatch. I had no reason to contact him further. I moved to a different area a few months later and had more important concerns than the owner's job and was fine with just writing a review. The owner needs to own it.

Literally his words, and he delivered on them completely. What set him apart was the depth he went to. He could've just wiped things down and called it a day, but instead he pulled the front seat out to find and clean milk residue that had seeped underneath the rubber mat. He used a leather soft-fill compound to repair a burn hole in the seat headrest and repainted it to match. He restored my foggy headlights until they looked factory fresh.
