After using QC's services for nearly two years, we've decided to move on…read more 1 - Their cleaning materials were too strong and bleachy smelling. 2 - Oftentimes instructions weren't followed or the team would do things that defied cleaning common sense and would create more work for us (like putting trash in recycling bins) 3 - They tried to hike up our cleaning costs with sloppily defined reasons. I will spare the details here, but when I debunked their reasons with hard evidence, they ultimately reneged the higher cost proposal, but didn't apologize. This rubbed me the wrong way and unfortunately, that's when I decided I was done. The cleaning services, besides the smell and odd lack of common sense stuff, were good. If you're in a pinch and don't want to use your brain for recurring services, QC is fine.

UPDATE: had to update this to three stars. When I messaged Edwin beforehand I'd asked whether he…read morewas comfortable cleaning velvet because some other upholstery cleaners had been hesitant due to it being a difficult fabric to clean. He told me yes. Now the chairs have dried and I see his machine left permanent marks in the velvet that are not going away. Normally these tracks from an upholstery cleaner can be rubbed away with a hand but they are cut into the velvet and I can't get them out. Pretty disappointed. Will attach video. The velvet is also now rough and crusty in some spots, no longer soft and smooth everywhere. I sent out a project request through the Yelp assistant for cleaning of two pink velvet chairs that I got secondhand pretty dirty. Edwin gave me a $120 flat rate for both chairs and was Yelp guaranteed. the combo of the really good price and Yelp guarantee made me feel better about him having only 4 existing reviews (albeit very positive ones). He informed me he only takes cash or Zelle. We agreed to meet at 1pm the next day. He showed up at 8:30am on the dot. He seemed confused when I was like "our meeting isn't for another 5 hours". Luckily I was available at that time so I brought the chairs out of the garage and Edwin was able to get to work without a problem. He plugs the cleaning devices into his truck, that interested me because I thought for sure he'd need to plug into a power source or my hose spigot. That's useful to know if you too need a piece of furniture cleaned in the driveway (construction in my house = no space to clean furniture). Edwin finished at 9:30. The chairs were still damp so he recommended I leave them out to dry for 2-3 hours. The chairs look clean and smell nice. Some of the smaller stains were not removed, but all the big ones seem to have been. Edwin was easy to work with and polite. I paid via Zelle. For $120 I think this was great. Thanks Edwin!
