Also, I was extremely pressured to get a procedure with their oral surgeon that ultimately was not covered by my delta dental insurance because it was not medically necessary!! They did the exact same thing to my 19yo daughter who was told she needed 12 cavities filled and it would be $4,000. She left and went back to her pediatric dentist who told us she only needed two cavities filled and it would be $105 total. Please, please please get a second opinion before agreeing to pay! They over charge and guilt you into procedures that are not indicated! I am not sure how they can live with themselves charging people this way and taking advantage of people in pain! GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!!!

At some point during her procedure, after already numbing her, he and his assistant took a 45 min lunch break leaving her in the chair. The crown they put on her tooth looks and feels jagged. It is painful and she can't bite down. She said this to the dentist and he shrugged it off. The only after care instructions he gave to her was to not eat steak. No education on pain management or anything. The price tag was also much higher than we have experienced elsewhere. I tried to keep her close to home to ease her anxiety and time involved but it was NOT worth it. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Hopefully they will make this right, but I'm not hopeful. *** As an update to my situation from over a week ago things have gotten worse. I was hopeful that things would be made right as the offered a refund for the terrible services that they provided. Not only have we not received the refund, they billed our insurance so now we don't have any insurance benefit remaining to move forward with another provider to get it fixed. Not only that but we specifically called and asked if that dentist was in our united healthcare network and they said YES. This was in fact not the case. It was billed as OUT OF NETWORK. So the cost is insane. Not only will we be filing a grievance with the state, we will also be reporting to United Healthcare and the ADA.

She is hilarious and we had a lot of fun together. She fast and OCD about doing a very good job on making sure your teeth are cleaned and free of plaque. There was a funny moment when she asked me to lean towards her but she meant to turn my head towards her more. It probably looked like I was trying to chest bump with her! Hahahaha Juan- the male dental assistant is also super fun and great! We had a few laughs and he made taking X-rays easy. Over the course of 9 months, I interviewed with 2 other local orthodontists and although they were both great (each made sure to tell me how great they were) and I was confident that they would have done a wonderful job taking care of my teeth, I was still hesitant. I made my way to Longmont Braces and before I even left the initial consult with Dr. Stephanie Ross, I knew that she would be the one I would entrust with my braces journey. She is confident and extremely intelligent, but without an ounce of pretension in her explanations or presence. I have witnessed her demeanor with patients of all ages, from young children to elderly, and have always been so impressed with her laid back approach. In addition, behind every great doctor is the team, and what an awesome team they are! From the moment my treatment started, I have been amazed by how this group works so closely together and makes each visit comfortable and pleasant even under circumstances that may not predispose you to that sort of experience.
