Very different service than I usually receive at the dentist. They were also quite efficient. Got here early, they saw me immediately and there was no time wasted in the chair. I was in and out in 30 minutes. They even offered me different colors for my retainer?? Didn't know that was a thing. The only other thing I'll mention - Getting a replacement retainer was quite expensive and they didn't really have the option for payment plans.

They have a station with one time use tooth brushes, floss, and mouthwash. It's nice to come in the office and brush your teeth there right before being seen by the staff. There are a handful of dental chairs lined up in an open space next to each other (don't go here if you want privacy). There's a ton of assistant staff on duty and they're all very kind. I also like that they put smiley faces on the ceiling lights so you can see them when you lean back in the chair. Dr Birg is an incredibly kind individual. Now that I'm a patient and not just a parent/ moneybags, I have a new perspective. I've gotten to know both Dr. Levin + her team more closely and I love them all. Dr. Levin is a fun fireball of energy and her staff is always so friendly and happy! I'm not excited about having braces as an adult, so Dr Levin helped me develop a plan that moves me through my Invisalign trays in record time! Two additional members of my family have also started and (almost) finished their Invisalign since my original review, and I have referred my cousin + several friends here. I immediately felt comfortable and not to mention, this is the 3rd ortho I saw, and she was half the treatment time, as well as half the cost; she also has better technology. The previous orthodontists told me metal was my only option and I was looking at 1.5- 2 years total and a ridiculous amount of $ for all of this. Levin ortho uses Lightforce technology which is a 3D printed bracket, specifically made for your teeth, it's unreal. Faster, less damaging and less visits to adjust these puppies. Being told you need braces and jaw surgery at 34 is a crappy feeling but finding this office has made me feel hopeful and finally upbeat about the whole scenario. So glad I kept following my gut and ended up here. Phenomenal office!

I went to Icon dental looking for a regular cleaning (covered by insurance) and ended up being at…read moremy appointment for 1.5 hours with no cleaning, just exams performed. The dentist and hygienist informed me that I had early stages perioral gum disease (with a few sites being 4mm which is how they stage gum disease). They also told me they would not do a standard cleaning that day and I would have to come back for a deep cleaning... which would cost $450. I was skeptical and asked many questions, they stated it would be insurance fraud if they charged my insurance for a standard cleaning and later needed a deep cleaning. Well I called my insurance and that's not how it works! I got a second opinion and was informed that all my gums were less than 2 mm and not near stages of perioral gum disease. OG dental also tried to have me do a sleep study (more money) and recommended 4 fillings. Needless to say, I was recommended an up charge for almost everything, that was deemed not necessary but a second dentist (and cheaper to get fillings done too!) That was a long review but I was very frustrated with my care here and would not recommend to anyone. Only positive was a cute front office set up.
